Ken feels torn about lying to the police to help Peter. Sally canvasses Kevin's opinion of her marrying Danny. Rita helps Anthony to pack up his family home.

Deirdre disapproves of Ken taking the rap for Peter's crime. The Croppers face a dilemma when Wayne runs away to them again. Sally gives Danny an answer to his proposal.

Ken dwells on what secret Susan is hiding from him. Roy and Hayley scour the streets in search of Wayne. Sarah confronts Glen for spreading lies about her.

Duggie, Mike and Fred lose a day's profits when their staff picket the Rovers. Liz receives an upsetting update about Jim. Ken resolves to go to Scotland to confront Susan.

Susan returns to Coronation Street to visit Ken. Linda offers to step into Liz's shoes at the Rovers. Sally feels railroaded by Danny's determination to move house.

Susan explains to Ken her decision to keep her son's existence a secret. Linda effortlessly takes the reins at the Rovers. Tyrone nervously prepares to spend the night with Maria.

As Ken meets his grandson Adam, Deirdre confides in Dev that Mike is the boy's father. Eileen moves into Number 11 with her sons Jason and Todd. An accident at work finds Toyah needing Duggie's help.

Deirdre feels compromised by Ken's insistence on keeping Susan's secret. Eileen's sons try to stir up trouble for her and Dennis. Curly and Emma return from their honeymoon.

Steve reneges on his promise to give Les a driving job. Maxine's demands on Ashley's body keep him from his work. The Platts hear disappointing reports of Sarah's schoolwork.

Les's first day as a taxi driver does not run smoothly. Maria alerts Tyrone to an unexplained rash on her body. Eileen finds Charlie less than amenable to doing a favour for a neighbour.

Eileen throws a house-warming party at Number 11. Tyrone becomes convinced that Maria has been playing away. Kevin fears losing his children upon learning of Sally's plans.

Tyrone accuses Sam of sleeping with Maria. Dennis contemplates the prospect of living with Eileen's sons. Danny takes charge of the girls when a family emergency calls Sally away.

Eileen blames her sons for Dennis's reluctance to move in with her. Mike and Dev get on famously at Linda's dinner party. The Croppers are encouraged by Hartnell's report.

Roy and Hayley face a day of judgement from the fostering panel. Mike tries desperately to find out more about his son. Kevin learns that Danny has the girls in Sally's absence.

Mike travels to Glasgow to confront Susan. Kevin resents Danny's relationship with his daughters. Steve gets in the way of Vik and Karen's date.

Mike orders Susan to provide an explanation for keeping his son from him. The presence of children in the Rovers upsets the regulars. The Croppers' news meets with an underwhelming response.

Dev and Deirdre face recriminations for their loose lips. Amanda tries a new tactic to make trouble for Anthony and Rita. Sam resolves to resume his stripping career.

Susan invites Mike to the Barlows' summit meeting. Anthony decides that he can no longer live with scheming Amanda. Geena shares a secret with Linda.

Sophie suffers an accident while in Danny's care. Susan meets Mike and Ken separately to discuss Adam. The Croppers receive news of a potential fostering opportunity.

Anthony's family ambush him to demand he treats Isabel fairly. Matt becomes concerned by damp at the medical centre. Kevin refuses to let the girls return home to Danny.

Anthony assures Rita that divorcing Isabel is his best option. Duggie blames Steve for cutting corners on the medical centre job. Sally returns to find Danny and Kevin at war.

Hayley and Roy are over-enthusiastic in their treatment of Jackie Mosley and are disappointed when she wants to go about her normal business. Charlie is unhappy at having to go to the Peacocks' house for dinner, but Matt is eager to get to know the neighbours. Rita is uneasy with Anthony's decision to divorce Isabel, and refuses to talk about it. Matt has a visit from Liz Morrisey, the buildings control manager who promises to sort out the smell in the Medical Centre. She confronts Duggie over his shoddy work, and informs his that he'll never get another council ...

Susan takes drastic action when Mike demands to be allowed to see Adam. Anthony's daughter accuses Rita of destroying her family. Duggie informs Dev of their financial losses. Roy and Hayley take Jackie bowling.

Ken struggles to accept Susan's death and breaks the news to Adam. Candice meets a rival for Jason's attentions. Geena offers to help Emily to raise money for charity.

Ken is trying to come to terms with Susan's death and deciding Adam's future. David sends both Martin and Gail valentine cards; each one purporting to be from the other person. They are not taken in and Martin has a word with David about it. Hayley and Roy realise that parenting isn't as easy as it looks. Dev gets jealous when Geena goes ahead with her "pound a kiss" charity night at the Rovers. He hates watching her being kissed by all the regulars. It's the day of Susan's funeral. Adam learns that Mike Baldwin is his father. Adam punches Mike at the funeral.

Ken prepares to take Adam up to Scotland to get his belongings. Peter gets drunk again so it's decided that it would be better for Adam to stay with Ken and Deirdre rather than at Peter's flat. Sam still hasn't anywhere to stay. Gail invites him in for lunch and they get on really well. Vik and Karen set up Bobbi and Steve on a date. Sarah decides that she fancies Todd Grimshaw and Candice fancies his older brother Jason. They are both upset when they find out that Jason thinks that Candice is too young and Todd admits to Sarah that he fancies Candice. Anthony and Rita have a reconciliation. Vik suspects that something has gone on between Karen and Steve. Karen tells him that Steve tried it on and she turned him down. Steve tries to tell him the truth but he believes Karen. Vik tells Steve that it's the end of their friendship and the Street Cars business. Sally is still concerned that Kevin is staying with Natalie. Ken and Adam are back from Glasgow. Ken suggests to Deirdre that they should all move to Glasgow and live in Susan's flat as it would be easier for Adam. Deirdre is not keen on the idea at all. Deirdre stays the night on the settee at No.1 as she feels Ken needs her support. Dev tells Deirdre she's welcome back to his flat for as long as she likes. Adam complains that he doesn't like his school. Mike decides to do something about it and makes arrangements for him to attend Oakhill School which is a local private school. Mike is put out when Adam shows little enthusiasm as he was hoping to be sent back to the private school he went to in Glasgow but as a boarder. The cleaner at the Medical Centre doesn't show up for work. Matt has to do the cleaning himself as Molly refuses. They offer the cleaning job to Edna. Deirdre feels very silly and awkward in front of Dev. She apologises to him for her behaviour and says that she will find somewhere else to live. Fred, Mike and Duggie have a meeting to sew up the sale of the Rovers with Colin Fielding, representative of the purchaser Hamilton Griffiths Holdings, Brian Hudson, solicitor and Phil Everett, brief. Mike manages to push the price up to £18,000 for each of them. Just as they are about to sign, Mike smells a rat. It turns out that Duggie is the main investor of Hamilton Griffiths Holdings and therefore the new owner of the Rovers. Fred and Mike are furious. Jason is still upset that he can't go to Lanzarote. Duggie is now the new landlord of The Rover's Return. Jason starts cleaning cars to earn money for his trip to Lanzarote.

Gail tells Sarah that she believes her and they make up. Martin is still sceptical about Sam. Sarah is angry with Martin and Gail apologises to Sam. Adam spends the day at Ken's house. Ken thanks Mike for giving Adam such a good holiday. Audrey tells Eileen that the Council are willing to give Jason a cheque for his training camp. She arranges to hand over the cheque at lunchtime with a photographer present. Danny is convinced that Kevin has disappeared on purpose just to worry Sally and so ruin their wedding. Alma arranges to go and stay with Frank. Sam and Toyah arrange to go to a gig together. Audrey hands over the cheque to Jason. It's only for £35. Kevin turns up. He's been to his sister Debbie's trying to get his head round Sally's wedding. He walks into the Rovers where Sally is having her hen night and says he still wants her. He starts to shout about the sex they had before his wedding to Alison but Sally hits him across the face. Sally is worried that he'll tell Danny about the sex. Audrey finds out that Fred has a girlfriend called Evelyn. She feels put out. Miss Harper and a colleague from Weights and Measures, at Weatherfield Council Trading Standards Dept carry out some tests on the whisky in the Rovers...

Jason discovers a bloodied Toyah in the ginnel, where she has been brutally attacked. Ahead of their wedding, Sally confesses to Danny about her night with Kevin. Peter and Ken take Adam to visit Susan's grave on her birthday.

Toyah is traumatised after her rape ordeal. She is interviewed by the Police again. She is headline news in the local paper and Toyah realises that she's never going to be allowed to forget what happened. Danny's brother Kieran calls at Sally's house to collect the rest of Danny's stuff. Sally was hoping to persuade Danny to come home but it starts to dawn on her that this isn't going to happen. Fred receives a shock when he takes Evelyn to dinner at the Baldwins'. Peter is hauled in for further police questioning. Danny asks Sally to buy him out of their business.

Fiz pretends to be ill so that she can skive off school. Roy doesn't believe her but Hayley does. Later Hayley finds Fiona in the Corner Shop and accuses her of lying to her and Roy. Alma receives a letter from the doctors telling her she needs to go for another smear as there has been some "cock-up" with the results of a whole batch of screenings. Charlie confides in Toyah that she was raped too when she was a student. Peter Hartnell calls at the café to collect Fiz. Fiz has made an allegation against Roy saying that he hit her. Both Gail and Martin receive their Decree Absolute and they are now divorced. They decide they will tell Sarah and David together. Audrey arrives back from Spain. Alma tells her that she's moving out to live in Ludlow with Frank. Curly is getting fed up with Audrey's lack of interest in canvassing for the election. Peter is being treated as a hero for catching Phil Simmonds. The Police tell Toyah that Phil has denied the rape charge. Toyah can't believe it, he admitted it to her. Fred is exhausted as he is getting no sleep because of Eve's snoring. Eileen is thrilled with her Christmas bonus from Steve.

Tyrone clocks some more cars for Karl Harper. Curly and Emma decide to have a party to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Toyah is annoyed with Les feeling sorry for himself. As Terry gets arrested, Vera dashes to the hospital to learn Jack's diagnosis. Dev regrets going to bed with Deirdre. Karen fails to pull the wool over Steve's eyes. Norris gets called upon to assist when Emma's labour starts.

Curly and Emma's baby boy weighs 6lb 2oz and they name him after Norris's middle name - Benjamin. Curly and Norris tell everybody they meet how they delivered the baby.

Toyah has another go at Les about his drinking. He promises to stop but later she finds him in the Rovers. Fred and Eve go house-hunting again but still can't find anything they like.

Les hopes that Leanne's return will prompt a reunion with Janice. Eve takes over the running of the Rovers for New Year's Eve. Maxine fears that Matt will reveal their secret. Bobbi feels taken for granted by Vikram.
