In the Season 23 premiere, food that's comforting and soulful is found during a trip to Charlotte, N.C., where Guy visits a hangout known for collard greens and shrimp and grits; and Marc Summers joins the host in Culver City, California, for turkey chili and hot dogs served on cornbread buns. Also: a strip mall spot specializing in crepes in Las Vegas.

Guy treats his taste buds to some Asian food during a trip to Las Vegas, during which he eats sushi and traditional udon, plus a pork dish and a new twist on grilled cheese. Also: tons of meat and flavor are found at a Korean barbecue joint in Denver.

Cuisine from three different continents is highlighted during Guy's travels. Included: he eats Indian curry and Brazilian croquettes and seafood in Denver. Also: meat sandwiches in Atlanta.

Comfort food is in the spotlight, when Guy visits an Atlanta joint known for its chicken and biscuits and house-cured lox; and twin brothers serve Southern grub, including a brisket burger and chicken-fried ribs.

Food from diverse cultures. Included: a Greek joint in Denver, Colorado, known for delicious lamb ribs and a unique dessert. Also: tasty tacos al pastor and carnitas tamales in Richfield, Minnesota; and an Atlanta spot's spin on shrimp and grits and biscuits and gravy.

Green chili and mile-high burgers are found in Fort Collins, Colorado. Also: Guy visits a breakfast-lunch café in Falmouth, Massachusetts, known for its pickle chips and savory scone sandwich; and travels to a family-owned restaurant for soft-shell crab.

Beef dishes are in the spotlight. Included: sandwiches piled with steak and braised beef are on the menu at a Minneapolis gastropub; a Jewish deli in Atlanta serves Guy a fish specialty, alongside their killer pastrami hash.

Guy visits an Argentinian joint in Denver, known for its beef empanadas and veggie tarta; and a family-run barbecue restaurant in Bayport, Minnesota, where he's served a brisket sandwich and pulled pork. Also: he tastes a loaded chicken dish and a Tex-Mex breakfast in Falmouth, Mass.

No knife and fork are required to eat the foods featured on this trip. Included: an Atlanta brewpub known for its cheddarwurst corn dogs and pastrami sandwich; an English-Filipino mashup in Minneapolis specializing in bahn mi and bacon-onion dip.

Guy travels to London, where he comes across two Brits who are smoking up American barbecue; and he visits a hip hangout featuring a modern take on fish and chips. Also: a local favorite offers shepherd's pie, braised ox check and rhubarb cheesecake.

A pig-centric road trip begins at a food truck, serving pork fusion and arepas, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Also: Guy finds barbecued pork and pork belly ramen at an Asian joint in a Minneapolis, Minnesota grocery store; and at a nearby smokehouse, he orders wings.

Stops include Plymouth, Massachusetts, for a unique plantain sandwich and wings gone bananas; Colorado Springs, where a neighborhood Italian spot serves up outrageous arancini and veal; and a Caribbean-pasta joint known for its jerk chicken penne.

Stops include a funky underground joint in Washington, D.C., known for knockout dumplings and ramen. Also: an Atlantic City pizza parlor serves a cheeseburger pie and chicken vodka.

Highlighting Triple-D all-stars. Included: Greek in Salt Lake City, Utah; creative curry in Denver, Colorado; amazing Asian in Miami, Florida; a taco joint in Des Moines, Iowa; and a drive-in where prime rib is on the menu in Boise, Idaho.

Guy highlights Big Easy eats, including seafood, barbecue, pizza, po'boys, breakfast and desserts, as he visits funky joints in New Orleans, that appeal to both locals and tourists.

Guy puts the spotlight on comfort food, including chicken and waffles, pot roast, noodles, pierogies, and oxtail stew.

Guy sets a course for burger joints, visiting places in California, New Jersey, Minnesota and Oklahoma. Included: he tries a peanut butter version of the all-American classic in Indiana; and sinks his teeth into the "mac attack" during a stop near Boston.

From classic Italian in Anaheim to elk sausage in Idaho, Guy rounds up the ultimate pizza party all over the nation, in this special pie-palooza of pizza joints.

Bacon is served at every meal enjoyed by Guy Fieri, when he travels to New York, California, Texas and Toronto. Highlights include bacon as an ingredient in sandwiches; ice cream; pasta; mac and cheese; and waffles.

Barbecue spots serving pulled pork, chicken and brisket are highlighted, during stops in Texas, Tennessee and North Carolina. Also: ribs and collards in Compton, California; and Southern-style sandwiches in Philadelphia.
