This trip Guy's looking for comfort food in New Orleans, Spokane, Wash., and in Champlin, Minn.

Stops include a seafood shack in Stone Harbor, N.J., for Brazilian pacu fish; a tiny joint in Long Island City, N.Y., for wood-oven pizza; and a volunteer-run brunch spot in Santa Rosa, California, for huevos rancheros with roasted pork.

This trip, Guy's pulling up for some one-of-a-kind meals in Spokane, Wash., Philadelphia and Mandeville, La. Included: brisket with beans and rice; oysters Rockefeller with a Cajun twist.

Stops include an Italian eatery in Merrick, N.Y.; a Sacramento diner that serves European classics; and a burger joint in Superior, Wisconsin.

This trip, Guy's grabbing sandwiches all over the country in Denver, Colo., Slidell, La., and in Indianapolis.

Classic dishes that have been reinvented are sampled. Included: English bubble-and-squeak gets a Southern spin in Oakland, California; giant caramel-pecan rolls are made in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; a burger bar in Manchester, Connecticut, is visited.

This trip, Guy's crossing the country for comfort food. He stops for bacon-blue-cheese burgers in Sacramento, Calif.; meatball subs in Indianapolis; and snapping-turtle soup in Pineville, Pa.

Guy samples crepes in Boulder, Colorado; stuffed cabbage and kreplach at a Jewish deli in Queens, New York; and stout-braised lamb cheesesteaks at a Spokane, Washington pub.

Spotlighting a sandwich shop in Carmel, Indiana, that serves cheesesteaks topped 33 different ways. Also: a huge seafood sandwich is sampled in New Orleans, Louisiana; and a popular burger joint in Bridgeport, Conn., is visited.

Longtime eateries are visited, including a second-generation Jewish deli in Denver; a 1920s soda shop in Williston Park, N.Y.

Reinvented comfort foods are sampled from coast-to-coast, including BLTs with homemade bacon in Indianapolis; jambalaya and green-bean casserole in New Orleans; wood-fired pizza in Winters, California.

Popular pork dishes are spotlighted, including smoked tasso and boudin sausage near Indianapolis; Napoletana pizzas topped with homemade sausage in San Antonio; and green chili burritos with a Greek twist in Denver.

Guy Fieri visits America's most interesting and unique restaurants. He visits a Sacramento pub for pork-sausage pizza, a Mexican-Salvadoran joint in Washington, DC for pupusas, and a Philly bar for vegan club sandwiches and deep-fried tofu.
