David buys Jemima, Slush and Little Ted pretend green food from Benita's Green Grocer shop. Benita picks some fresh carrots, tomatoes and capsicum. David shows us how to make a delicious avocado dip. The avocado dip is served with sliced carrot, tomato and capsicum.

Glenn, David and Angela play a memory game with kitchen utensils (wooden spoon, measuring jug, saucepan lid, biscuit cutter, egg cup and tongs). The presenters make Banana Snow, which they then enjoy at the dining table. Angela and David use the shapes of cut-out food pictures to create a kangaroo, a rabbit and a person. Angela creates music with body percussion. Glenn and David copy her music patterns.

George and Angela brush the guinea pigs. George hides food for the guinea pigs to find with their sense of smell. The presenters make fresh spaghetti with a pasta-making machine. George hangs the spaghetti out to dry. Later he cooks it on the stove. Angela, dressed as a mouse, scares George, who is dressed as an elephant. Angela sets the table so the presenters can enjoy the cooked spaghetti with cheese.

Angela traces Simon's outline onto a perspex window. The presenters make gingerbread men, Simon by hand and Angela with a biscuit cutter. Simon, Angela and the toys present the story of The Gingerbread Man in a rotunda. Simon to explain the journey of food into the mouth, and into the digestive system.

The presenters make bread dough and it is left to rise. They show us pre-made dough that has risen, been shaped and put in a loaf tin, then left in a warm place to rise again. Simon pretends to be a lump of dough, Angela "kneads" him, then he grows bigger and bigger. The risen dough in the tin is put in the oven to bake and is removed after the story. Simon and Angela make butter by shaking cream in a container. Angela makes peanut butter in a food processor. The presenters share and eat the food that they have made.
