Making a large weaving using items from the Useful Box. Colin makes a nest and Noni flies like a little bird. Noni does leaf rubbings with paper and a crayon. Colin pretends to dig in the garden and plant a tree.

Karen and Glenn demonstrate a "noise ladder" and experiment with different sounds. Glenn shows how silkworms develop into moths. Taking turns to draw, the presenters make squiggles and turn them into pictures. Dramatic Play: Glenn pretends to be a tree and Karen fans him to blow him down. Don is outside in the bush and tells the story of Koala and her Family.

Making babies with modelling clay. The clay babies are put to sleep in a box bed. Beds are made for Little Ted and Meeka. A variety of instruments made from parts of trees are used to accompany actions.

The presenters make fruit salad. David mimes planting a tree. Angela pretends to be different kinds of fruit being mixed up in a fruit salad. Through the windows Colin visits the Botanical Gardens to look at trees.
