Aka ep86.1 Cardboard boxes are used to create a train, a hiding place and a bath George paints and draws things that might be seen in the sky Angela, George and Glenn pretend to be planes flying in formation Dramatic play: A plane trip- Glenn is the flight attendant, George the pilot Angela and Big Ted are the passengers.

David opens a curtain and looks out through a perspex window to see Noni being a helicopter, then a kangaroo David and Noni do the ' Willie Wagtail Hop'. Dramatic play: Noni builds a magpie scarer that will allow her to get past the magpie ( David ) without being attacked. David and Noni dress up as a crazy four-footed, three-legged, two-armed, two-headed clown.

Benita and David make a feather hat for Jemima using wing, tail and down feather. Benita and David feed Peppino and Peppina the Play School budgerigars, Bit and Bot the goldfish and the Play School mice, Henry and Henrietta. David makes two little dicky birds, using paddle pop sticks, peg and feathers. A game of 'whose wings are these?' is played. Benita and David must match the wings to the correct object or animal. David and Benita dress up as bats and do the bat rap.

Monica and Jamie make a race track out of kindergarten blocks, for a 'Sail Car Race'. Paper sails are attached to the toy cars. Fans are used to create a wind that propels the cars along Jamie explores some of the properties of air and demonstrates how a pin wheel works. A 'Windy Weather' memory game is played. Lisa goes for a flight in a tissue box helicopter and Kim in a box plane.

Noni and Jamie explore the properties of air and helium. Noni fills a balloon with air and makes a Humpty Dumpty with folded paper legs and arms. Jamie fills a balloon with helium and makes a ' Bump-a-Deedle ' person with ribbon legs. Dramatic Play : Noni takes the toys and Bump-a-Deedle to an air show. Lisa goes for a box plane ride, Bump-a-Deedle goes for a balloon ride and everyone goes for a big box plane ride.
