Javier's ex-wife Belén has left Santander and returned to Madrid when she discovered that Javier found a job there, so Javier is back at Central, but Laura occupies his place and he must do replacement, and he meets Mónica, the new nurse of the SAMUR with the doctor, Raúl. Maca is at the end of her pregnancy. She has a revision and doesn't want Esther, who asks her wife to stop working, to know about it. Maca gives birth while her father is suffering a heart attack driving to the hospital. Finally, his life is saved and Maca and Esther name their first son Pedro after his grandfather.
