An airplane crashes into a house during an acrobatic show.

Javier asks his mother for advice when Belén doesn't let him look after their son. She says that it's something between them both and it's Javier's fault for involving Laura. Javier offers to be Gabriela's lawyer for the judgment. Edu and Gus are not happy as residents, but for different reasons: Héctor is very protective. and Aimé presses too hard. The hospital's atmosphere is making Dávila feel desperate. Maca and Esther have decided to have a child artificially and search for a suitable sperm donor. Vilches thinks that Rusti has suffered a relapse of his problems, ...

Rusti has finished his therapy, is recovered, and begins his new life. Vilches is implicated in Ismael's case: the teenager says that she escaped from the orphanage because she wanted to visit her mother, who was ill. However, Carlos doesn't believe this version. Teresa's middle child has decided to leave home and she is very worried because she thinks that he's not prepared. Dávila receives a visit from Mercedes, a friend and ex-lover whom he hasn't seen for years.

Aimé is attending Mari Ángeles' ex-boyfriend Miguel, and she convinces Teresa to let her visit him in the hospital. Eva tells Laura that Carlos has split with with his girlfriend. Javier has problems with Belén, who doesn't let him watch their son; moreover, he has Luna as his new resident but ignores her all the time, so she doesn't feel comfortable and tells Laura. Queca, who is pregnant with twins, wants Rusti to open a hotel in the village and leave the hospital. Héctor is still in love with Gabriela and tries to return to her after the infidelity with Eva. Dávila continues his relationship with Mercedes and asks Teresa to book a table so they can have dinner; Begoña overhears the conversation and doesn't like it. Diego, Carlos, Laura, and Eva have spent the weekend together but forgot to ask Robert to come with them and he is unhappy about it. During Maca and Esther's day off, a pregnancy test reveals that the pediatrician is pregnant. Rusti is thinking about leaving the hospital and opening a country house in Queca's village. Aimé continues to look after Miguel, but Vilches and Dávila distrust his impartiality. Carlos ...

Javier and Luna don't understand each other and working together becomes a nightmare. Sotomayor has other problems: Belén doesn't want him to see their son and Dávila suspects that he told the media about the scandal in the hospital. Aimé feels that Dávila doubts him professionally in the case of Miguel, Mari Ángeles' former lover who hits her. Rusti and Queca are traveling by bus to the village when she goes into labor. Luna's brother Olmo has important psychological problems and she must attend him. A patient from Cuba falls in love with Teresa and pursues her. ...

On Rusti's last day at hospital, his colleagues want to give him a photograph of all of them together as a gift. Maca and Esther tell their mothers that the pediatrician is pregnant; Maca's mother is very happy with the news but Esther's is not. Javier has problems with Dávila, who thought Javier told the media about the infection. Héctor, who knows that Begoña was the one who talked to a journalist, tells Dávila that Javier isn't guilty. Héctor is still in love with Gabriela and wants to reunite with her, but becomes very nervous every time he sees her. Laura's mother phones her to say that her grandfather is at hospital and he has only a few hours left. Mercedes continues her relationship with Dávila; Begoña is jealous and confesses to the director that she was the one who talked to the journalist. Luna and Olmo's mother is at hospital to see her son. Luna doesn't want her there because for so long they heard nothing from or about her, but Olmo is happy that she came to see him. Cruz has returned to Central after her maternity leave and Vilches as at home with their baby, but Aimé phones him and he must come to Central to sign a document. Alejandro takes care of María, but he is with his girlfriend and the baby suffers an accident. The mother of Maca's patient, a baby with cancer, stubbornly insists that mobile phones and other devices are the cause. Everybody is against Begoña after they learn that she leaked to the media. While Esther and Maca find out that their baby will be a boy, Teresa discovers that she too is expecting. María is better but Cruz and Vilches have problems because she believes that she is the only person who can take care of their daughter. Belén goes to Santander the day that Javier was going to be with him, although they have shared custody. Carlos continues his relationship with Laura, but his jealousy towards Javier increases. Cruz and Vilches continue with their problems and argue at work, having different opinions about what to do with their patients. Begoña is sending anonymous messages to Dávila's new partner Mercedes. Belén has gone to Santander with Javier's son and he wants to go there to see their son. Eva seems not to be comfortable with the situation at home, because Carlos is there with Laura almost every day so they decide to look for a flat and start living together. Luna seems not to be happy because his brother is better with their mother than when he lived with her, and ...

Esther is obsessed with Jorge's (her late friend Toñi's son) health and Maca feels that she is neglecting her pregnancy and the baby they're expecting. Aimé wants to surprise his daughter Nuria with the gift of a dog, but when they and Mari Ángeles are in the car, they suffer an accident and Nuria and Mari Ángeles die.

Mari Ángeles is brain-dead and Aimé is not able to cope, especially with their daughter dead; when she dies, the double loss makes him attempt suicide. Vilches and Cruz are arguing all the time and she is thinking of going alone to spend some days with Candela in Ireland, but he wants to make a trip together as a surprise for Cruz. Larua and Carlos have decided to live together but have problems with moving. Begoña has denounced Dávila after her aggression and Héctor makes the medical inform. Vilches saves Aimé after he tries to commit suicide. Luna's brother has disappeared and she is very worried because of his psychological problems. Javier has decided to move to Santander to be nearer to his son, so he abandons the hospital. Laura is finishing her residence and has no possibility to continue in the Central, but Javier's departure would be her opportunity. Dávila tries to solve his problems with Begoña because of her denouncement, but she insists that he splits up with Mercedes. Esther must separate from Jorge although Maca tries to avoid it.
