At the end of a boys' school basketball match, the steps sink, dragging the interest and the players, and Urgencias attends to the many injured; lack of hospital space makes Santiago and Jimeno decide to use an operating room that was closed awaiting reconstruction. After verifying that the only thing that does not work is the extractor, Jimeno decides to operate, but the operating room fails.

A pilot of globes who travels with his daughter suffers an epileptic fit in full flight. With her mother's help, the girl manages to land the globe in the place where they wait for Diego, Mario, and Diana. A woman falls down the stairs and her husband, newly-released from jail. brings her to the hospital. The wife tells Elisa that her husband beats her, but in the waiting room he acts with great tenderness. Finally the woman confesses that he doesn't beat her; she doesn't love him anymore because he has met someone else.

A boy with Down syndrome has an accident trying to cross the street. In the hospital they discover that he suffers from a serious cardiovascular disease that can only occur in the United States. Across a video conference, an American teacher gives Santiago instructions to perform the operation to save the boy.

A spectacularly-pretty mature woman comes to Urgencia with a strong abdominal pain. Javier attends to her disease--appendicitis on the verge of turning into peritonitis--and operates on her. He visits the woman while she recovers and a strong attraction develops between them. Meanwhile, a child is deposited after going into a coma during the night and despite every effort, he dies. Vilches feels impotent because besides not having saved him, he cannot discover what had happened to him.

A serious accident takes place inside a tunnel; the most affected are a young couple and their 10-year-old son. The medical efforts are not sufficient to save the mother; the father and son are immediately evacuated to the hospital, but nobody there will be able to save the father. The doctors decide to say nothing to the boy, but he does suspect, and the difficulty of communicating the sad news relapses on Andrea.

A teenage couple tries to commit suicide because their parents don't want them to be together. The girl dies, but some of her organs remain suitable for donation to transplant. The boy needs a heart to continue living. The girl's mother must decide to donate her daughter's organs to save the boy's life. Meanwhile, Javier behaves strangely after initiating a relationship with the patient he operated on for appendicitis.

Andrea attends to a elderly woman who has been left in Urgencies by her family. Ana gives her boyfriend Rubén a few routine tests, but they reveal that he has a tumor, so her incipient relationship with Mario will have to wait. Vilches attends to the brother of the child who died in Urgencies, who presents the same symptoms.

In a robbery with injured men, Mario turns into hostage while his companions attend to a childbirth in full street. Already in the hospital, the mother leaves the baby. Vilches discovers that the reason of the death of the children is his own mother, who suffers Munchausen's syndrome.

Ana insists on treating Rubén with chemotherapy, although they all think that the type of tumor he has is very resistant to treatment--and Rubén refuses the chemotherapy. Meanwhile, Mario tells Diana that she should not interfere so much with the mother who abandoned her baby in the hospital. Ana has moved her father into her home, which affects him professionally in a delicate professional moment.

A few young men with a passion for motorbikes decide on a risky bet as a game. One of them has an accident, but in the hospital his mother doesn't want him to be operated on. Ana becomes convinced not to continue treating Rubén's disease and he ends up dying. She argues with Vilches and they break up. Cristina is confused about Hervás' attitude and questions whether or not he tried to harass her. Andrea's father is still in the hospital but he has depression and Vilches tells Andrew that the UVI is not the right place for him. Rubén tells Esther that he doesn't want ...

Diana is obsessed with Nati, the mentally-disabled woman who left her daughter after giving birth, and asks Cristina for help in preparing a favorable report that could return custody to her, but the test result is negative and Diana is disappointed in Cristina. Santiago tries to clarify the question of Hervás' harassment to Cristina, but their versions of the event are very different; Santiago finally gets Hervás' confession. Ana and Javier have different opinions about the case of a patient whose daughter doesn't want them to reveal her diagnosis. Ana is influenced ...

Andrea believes that Vilches supports Javier over her in the fight for the position of enclosure. Elisa tries to convince the mother of an anorexic gymnast that her daughter is seriously ill, but she does not recognize the problem. Ana attends to a patient with cancer treated by Sotomayor and decides to tell the truth about his disease, but his reaction is unexpected.

A SAMUR ambulance is involved in a traffic accident. Ana decides to leave the hospital because she needs to start a new life, and says goodbye to Mario, who is still under the effects of the anesthesia. Andrea and Javier continue to compete for a place at the hospital, and their relationship is very tense. Rusti is to give a workshop in the hospital and is very nervous, but it's a success. Esther feels attracted to Juan, a patient who is on the verge of remaining paraplegic, and Cristina and feels increasingly alone.

Elisa awaits her son's return, but he tells her that he will remain in the United States because he has obtained a scholarship. Andrea and Javier continue to fight for the seat; after they tie in the voting, Vilches unbalances the scale and assigns the position to Javier, and Andrea has 15 days to leave the hospital.

Vilches is working at the hospital and also in a private clinic; he's exhausted and making mistakes that are uncharacteristic. Elisa has decided to have a child alone, which is very difficult for Santiago to understand. Esther goes to Juan's house to assist him but the patient thinks that he's receiving a public sanitary service. Andrea is intimate with the married Seró. Javier receives his first resident, a young doctor called Laura.

A gas explosion takes place in a day-care center and the SAMUR team comes to the place of the disaster. Adrián, after saving a child who had been trapped in the bath, gets trapped himself and later dies. Mario feels guilty because of his attitude toward him, and Diana postpones a date with Gonzalo to be there for Mario. Sero, after spending one night with Andrea, agrees that they should keep their association strictly professional. Cristina tells Andrea (who spends her last day in Urgency after the adjudication to Javier of the fix place) that there is a vacant place ...

A pilot of light aircraft suffers a sudden, strong headache and makes an emergency landing. In the hospital they discover that he has two families, and both women appear in the hospital with their respective children. The patient's situation is irreversible, and the legal wife allows the entry of another companion of her husband. They decide to leave him to die.

Juan, the paralytic young man in rehabilitation, complains to Elisa of Esther's continuous lateness; in this way it's discovered that she realizes the service without permission. While Vilches reduces importance to a hand quake that is suffering, he faces Santiago and Andrea because he believes that they have prevented him from operating on a patient.

A young man who was trying to commit suicide in the underground arrives at the hospital. The boy tells his parents that it was an accident, but the doctors decide to tie him to the bed to avoid a new attempt. Cristina interrogates the patient, then unties him because she believes him. The young man takes advantage of this vote of confidence and steals some tablets to take with the intention of suicide. Santiago comes in time to save him and Cristina must own her mistake.

A teen kleptomaniac girl is surprised stealing in a mall. She shams an assault of asthma in front of the chief of plant, who locks her up while he searches for a doctor; a fire breaks out in the building and the girl cannot flee. Elisa, who happens to be there, hears the shouts and leaves in search of help, and is in danger when Mario finds her. They both escape through a window. At the hospital, it is discovered that Elisa has a lump in her breast.

A woman in a clinic for liposuction suddenly develops complications. When the patient dies, her husband denounces the clinic, which turns out to be owned by Javier's father. Andrea's father joins the hospital after an attempted suicide. Elisa has a breast tumor and the treatment is incompatible with her pregnancy, but she postpones chemotherapy.

Laura thinks that she will be the next victim of the aggressions that keep happening. Her stress affects her work despite the police's alertness. She believes that a patient is hiding a weapon, but it's a false alarm. Meanwhile, the widower of the woman who died during her liposuction operation in Javier's father's clinic appears in the hospital with his lawyer; they show the tests to Javier and he is asked to testify in the judgment.

The physical therapist congratulates Juan on his rapid recovery. Soon he will be able to walk and in one year he will be able to resume physical relations. But this doesn't make him happy because he doesn't want to continue his relationship with Esther. She asks him not leave her; they declare their love and a trip is promised. Elisa is very sensitive on the case of three brothers who have no parents and live on their own. Diana is changing her attitude since meeting Gonzalo. Ferreira leaves the hospital and proposes that Santiago take his place. Diana is not concentrating on her work and makes serious mistakes. Those of the SAMUR attend a birth on an airplane, where they discover the bodies of two stowaways: one is dead and the woman presents a strong hemorrhage in the leg. They take her to the hospital where they discover that she is a carrier of the ébola. Vilches, taking charge of the emergency situation, isolates the dependents.
