A young woman,Karina Wienand has been deeply touched by an interview of the professor Kostiz about the indifference in the world.Manfred Mauser,the friend of Karina is a drug dealer.Karina tries to convince a drug addict,Andreas to give up (they went to listen a conference of the professor), but Andreas falls again.Karina has decided to leave Manfred.Some hours later Manfred is killed by several shot in the parking of his building.

A wealthy man's daughter has been kidnapped by a group of gangsters. One of them is shot dead by the father while taking ransom. Derrick has to make the kidnappers think their accomplice has taken the money in order to save the girl.

Rudolf Kollau has been sentenced to 10 years of prison for the murder of the lover of his wife Agnes.The psychologist of the prison Dr. Gossler meets Derrick and explains him that he his preoccupied by Rudolf Kollau, who soon will be released from prison and that maybe Rudolf has not really changed in the prison.Besides Rudolf Kollau asks the Dr. Gossler that he needs to speak with his ex-wife before his release.Agnes arrives at the prison and listens to Rudolf who says that their story belongs to the past,that she must not be afraid of him and that he only wants to ...

Henry Kostloff is stage manager and owner of a theater.He has come to the police station to announce that his young protege Arnold Kieler has disappeared.Henry Kostloff mentions also that the comedians used to exercise their voices in a stone-pit which looks like a classic theater.So the police goes with him to the stone-pit and there the police finds the corpse of Arnold Kieler who has been stabbed to death.

Arno Beckmann was speaking with his friend Martha Hauser by phone when suddenly somebody rings the doorbell.Arno asks who is behind the door and is killed by three shots through the door.Arno was in jail and his cellmate,Léo Körner said him to publish a little advertisement in the newspaper.
