Horst's pals take him to a brothel to celebrate his birthday. Later that night they go to Albert's home. Albert makes a phone call. Soon after that the door bell rings and three shots are fired in the stairwell.

Robert Lohmann's sister is murdered in the house where she worked as the maid. The Röder brothers living in the house claim that they were at their father's apartment when the murder happened, and Mr. Röder backs their story up.

Inge is warned against taking the shortcut home through the park in the night, because women have been harassed there. One night she works late and dares herself with dire consequences. A Walkman is found by her side and a strange dog wanders in the area.

Irene, a former model, has been released from psychiatric care after withdrawing from alcohol and cocaine. The press is already swarming around her. One journalist makes a daring article about her former lover, who gets shot soon after.

Three high school boys go to watch a night show of a violent movie. After a noisy scene with lots of gunfire, someone notices a dead man in one of the seats.

A lady working as an escort, available for hire through a hotel's portier, is found murdered in her apartment.

Keepers of a hostel of questionable services recruit new girls to keep the patrons happy. A chick from the old batch helps a rookie escape and ends up on the run herself.

Karoline is very popular in the building where she takes her English lessons. But on one unlucky evening, a tenant returning home finds her at the bottom of the stairwell, strangled to death.
