Magda Klein waits in vain for her father at the railway station. She then goes to the hotel he was living at, but he isn't there either. After getting a strange phone call, Magda reports her father missing. Meanwhile, a shady man walks the hotel corridors.

When leaving her favorite bar, Helga Wichmann is hit by a car and killed. The bad news don't seem to shock her family, especially not the newly widowed husband.

Hans Machnow and Ulrich Hemp have a quarrel over a girl. Later in the night, Mrs. Machnow finds her son dead by the side of his car.

When Achim rides his motorbike home from his girlfriend's, he drops the spare helmet. When he goes back to collect it, he hears cries for help, and is taken to a shop where a dead man lies on the floor.

Two dubious men disembark the Istanbul train. Being followed by the station guard and police, they quickly hide their suitcase in the trunk of a cab.

Alf Hauff avoids a murder attempt by sheer luck. But does someone want the new boss of a family business dead? Alf's stepbrother's babbles confuse Derrick even more.

Derrick witnesses and aborts an attempted abduction of a young lady. When he calls for help, she absconds with mad abandon.

Marlene is scared of the raging thunderstorm. When she looks out a window, the glass breaks. It wasn't the thunder but a gunshot, and Marlene thinks she knows the shooter.

A big corporation had its safe broken in and the guard was killed. The case had an eye witness, but his testimony isn't of much help.

Robert Renz is shot at midnight in front of his lover's home.

A prisoner bus is ambushed and the driver and warden are killed. Alfred Pricker escapes.

A priest is called up at 11 PM. A man wants to confess a killing.

The Hofstetter couple are driving home from a party, but a fateful accident occurs. Derrick doesn't think it was purely accidental for long.
