An empty car blocks a narrow bridge over a canal and the police look for the driver. He is found dead in the canal.

A call-girl is found stabbed to death, and an eye witness' testimony leads Derrick to speak to an alcoholistic, retired teacher.

Derrick is visited by a young man who's stepfather has been getting anonymous death threats. Lo and behold, soon the stepfather is found shot.

In 1946, a goldsmith was murdered. Now, over 30 years later, his nephew comes to the police claiming to know the murderer.

An office building is burglarized and the nigh guard is killed. One of the three perpetrators manages to escape, but who gave him a hiding place?

Derrick and Klein go to a new Italian restaurant. The employees seem somewhat troubled, and Derrick has a hunch there are problems coming up.

The owner of a disco is shot and a cab driver calls the cops. The victim's brother says to Derrick that he knows the murderer.

A loan company's accountant is shot, and he dies soon after. Derrick interrogates people who heard the shots, but did someone also see the shooter?

Mr. Buschmann is released on parole after serving ten years for manslaughter.

A yacht keels over and the owner is barely salvaged. His wife, however, is nowhere to be found.

Mr. Bonna, the manager of a retirement home has been accused for the murders of three of the boarders,but now he has been acquitted of these charges.Everybody is convinced that Mr. Bonna was the murderer of the 3 boarders.Mr. Mahler is interested in the trials and also convinced that Mr. Bonna is the murderer.The next day Mr, Mahler presents himself in the retirement home for renting a room.In the night Mr. Bonna is killed.Mr. Mahler was in the opera with his granddaughter.
