Nina and Cricket have a new roommate; Chase will stay with them for a few days. Marge took Katherine's place at the Chancellor Estate while Katherine and Esther are held hostage somewhere. Paul is back in Genoa. Carl is back at the police station. He has evidence against Cassandra. Cassandra tells Victor she has nightmares and has seen Paul. Victor says Paul is dead. Later, Carl arrives and tells Cassandra she's under arrest for the murder of Georges Rawlins.

John Silva informs Cricket he's a teacher in the class she'll be attending. Mary is happy to see her son again. Victor arrives and tells both of them that Cassandra got arrested. After Victor's departure, Paul leaves too and manages to enter Lauren's office without being seen. Cassandra is at the police station; she'll spend the night in jail. Jill has dinner with Victor.

Paul surprises Lauren in her office and gives her an update on his case. She's happy he's back in town. He says he thought a lot of her when he was in Bermuda. Lauren tells him she married Scott. Paul congratulates her and leaves. Katherine wonders who is the woman who took her place.

Cassandra collapses when Paul appears in the courtroom. He explains why he faked his death. Brittany is overjoyed to learn that Paul is alive. Skip and Carol want to help the young biological mother of their baby.

Nina, tells Chase, Danny and Cricket that she and David got married. Lauren wants to thank Paul for being here for her. Paul says they're friends; Scott arrives. He's upset to see Paul who says goodbye and leaves. Scott confronts Lauren about everything she kept from him. He wonders if the baby who his or Paul's.

Chase, Cricket and Danny reluctantly congratulate Nina and David on their wedding. Drucilla is upset when aunt Mamie tells her that Olivia is coming to Genoa. Lauren argues with Scott. She can't believe he thought that the baby she lost was Paul's. She leaves and goes to Paul's office. Paul says he hates being between her and her husband. He reminds her she's married to a good guy. Mamie introduces Olivia to Ashley. Leanna wants to celebrate her successful show with Victor but he's too busy.

Paul tells Lauren to give Scott a chance. Later, Scott confronts Paul about his relationship with Lauren. Paul says he and Lauren are and will always be close. Cricket agrees to move in with Danny. Victor is having dinner with Leanna. He leaves after seeing Brad kissing Ashley.

Danny and Cricket have a meeting with John Silva. Tracy tells Ashley she came back for Brad. Later, she tells her father she plans to stay for a very long time. Scott calls Paul. He's upset when he hears Lauren's voice on the phone. Later, he has a drink with Sheila. She drugs him and have sex with him. Paul asks Cassandra to postpone their plan. He would like to talk with Lauren instead.
