Cricket and Danny eagerly await the outcome of Michael's trial, meanwhile the attorney's representing Michael's trial evaluate whether or not all the claims Danny and Cricket have placed on Michael (including the latest scandal of Michael making it look like Danny cheated on Cricket with another woman who photographed them nearly naked together.) are valid enough to have Michael censored.Later the verdict is in and Michael is found guilty of Sexual Harassment, and censored by the court, much to Danny and Cricket's relief. Brandon pays Victoria a visit. He feels something is wrong with her. Nikki and Victor have a meeting with Mitchell Sherman; they want to end Victoria and Ryan's marriage. Today is the anniversary of the day Paul married April. Paul discusses it with Lynne and then with his mother. Mary thinks Heather should be in Paul's life but Paul disagrees; Heather has another father now.

Mary gives Paul the picture of Heather that she got from April last time she was in town. Paul finally looks at this recent photo of his daughter.

A lavish party for the newlywed John and Jill is thrown at the Chancellor mansion. Even Traci arrives as a surprise guest from New York. Brad is curious about Ashley's involvement with the mysterious Alex Bladeson. Nikki tries to comfort Jack who's unhappy about his father's marriage to Jill. They are both looking forward to their child. Douglas questions Victor's mood and insinuates that he feels uncomfortable now that both Ashley and Nikki have moved on with their lives without him. Paul asks Lynne if there were new messages. Actually, someone called without giving her name. However, Lynne thinks the call was from Paul's ex-wife April. Later, Paul tells Nathan about their new case: they have to make sure that Michael Baldwin doesn't hurt Cricket Romalotti. They have to be very careful because Cricket doesn't know that Danny hired them to protect her.

Jan 29-Danny asks Nathan to help him watch out for Christine because of the Michael Baldwin trial. Michael makes the rounds to find a new job unsuccessfully. Ryan calls Nina and Florence answers the phone. Ryan asks if it is okay if he stops by to see Nina. Traci and Jack have an emotional reunion after John and Jill's remarriage. Following her therapist's advice, Victoria goes back to the ranch for a couple of days. Ryan runs into Nina at Gina's and they decide to have dinner together. Rebecca asks for Michael's help. She needs money. He refuses to help her. Christine and Danny have a peaceful evening. Paul thinks of Heather. Mary catches him looking at a picture of his daughter. She advises him to locate April and make sure she and Heather have a nice life.

Ryan and Nina run int each other at Gina's and have dinner together. Victor's secretary, Connie alerts Victor that Eve Howard is passing through. Traci pops in at Lauren's for old-time sake. Traci and Lauren trade barbs concerning Brad. Nicholas asks Victoria why she is home and not with Ryan. Eve Howard shows up at Victor's door.

Michael calls Hilary. Jill tells Rex that she wants to have a baby with John. Victor and Douglas talk about Eve. Brad questions Traci about Steeve. Paul and Nathan talk about Michael Baldwin. Jill visits her doctor and gets the okay to have a baby. Christine and Danny get a letter from Michael about leaving Genoa City, but Danny does not by it. Mamie and Dru believe Dru is ready to cook a meal for Neil. Ashley visits Victoria and feels to blame with her situation. Michael is back in GC and Rebecca is shocked to find him in a run-down apartment. Ashley asks Victoria what kind of a marriage do she and Ryan have. Paul gives Lauren a birthday present. She's moved he remembered. She says she has a wonderful life with Scott and Scotty. Paul is happy for her. Later, Lauren celebrates her birthday with her husband and her son. Nathan tells Paul they haven't heard of Michael Baldwin. Paul wants to keep an eye on Christine because Michael is dangerous. Olivia surprises Nathan and she is the one surprised when she sees Nathan with a gun. Dru tells Mamie that she is surprised to find out that Neil goes to church every week. A concerned Brandon calls to check in on Victoria. Olivia and Nathan argue about the gun. Nikki is not feeling well, but does not tell Jack. Christine wants to put the ordeal with Michael Baldwin behind her. Paul advises her to be careful. Later, he meets with John Silva and Danny to find out if Michael really left town. Michael calls the hospital. He's told the young woman beaten and found unconscious in the woods didn't make it. He smiles and says "Now Christine, it's your turn". Nikki is in the hospital after a fall. Jack is at her bedside. Lauren receives another piece of a puzzle. She calls Brad. She wonders if Tracy could be behind this. Brad doesn't think so.

Paul tells Christine he isn't sure that Michael Baldwin left Genoa. So, he wants her to be protected, just in case. Victor and Jack argue about Victoria. Ashley has a photo shot with Blade. Neil proposes to Drucilla. Danny finally gets the role in a show. Christine shares the news with Paul and Lynne. She also asks them to be protected from Michael without telling Danny. Sheila flies to Genoa City and on the flight remembers how she drugged and seduced Scott. Victoria and Nikki spend some quality time in the hospital. Dr. Laski tells Jack that Nikki is in a fragile condition and would like to keep Nikki in the hospital longer than expected. With Hilary gone, Michael plots his next move. Lauren nervously waits for her anonymous guest to show up. Lauren is even more horrified to discover that person is none other then Sheila!...Back from the grave. Lauren can't believe that this is happening but Sheila assures her she is very real....she also tries to persuade Lauren that she's a change person and wants to forget the past, but Lauren will never forgive or forget the hell Sheila put her through...Lauren threatens to call the police, until Sheila brings up the mysterious puzzle Lauren's been getting. Nina visits Cricket and questions Cricket as to why Nathan is guarding her door. Michael plots his next move in Hilary's apartment. Sheila visits Lauren once again, to warn her, that if Lauren keeps snooping into Sheila's new life (with Eric Forrester in L.A) she will expose her affair to Brad. Lauren vows Sheila will pay for what she did to her. Victor overhears a tense phone call between Victoria and Ryan, and while attempting to have a peaceful dinner with his daughter, keeps informing her of his displeasure over her marriage to Ryan. This upsets Victoria who walks out on her father. A rejected Ryan ends up dining alone at "Gina's" until Nina (who Gina phoned to come over to see Ryan) joins him...

Sheila visits Molly to apologize. Victor goes to see Nikki in the hospital. Michael is irritated that Nathan is watching Cricket. Sheila tells Molly that she wants her to be a part of her and Eric's life in California. Michael goes shopping for some dry wall to do some work in Hilary's apartment. Victor asks Dr. Laski why Nikki is not being released. Molly offers to go to California now s opposed to going back to Grand Rapids. Molly says goodbye to Scott, Lauren and Scottie. Nikki goes into labor.

While Molly is packing Lauren arrives to get some answers. Michael makes progress with the wall to Cricket's. Ashley tells Victor that he has never gotten over Nikki. Nikki and Jack prepare for the delivery of the baby. Michael remembers being scorned by Cricket. John Silva visits with Cricket and asks Her about Nina and Ryan. John is surprised to learn that Victoria is living at the ranch. Lauren asks Molly where Sheila is living and whom she is planning on marrying. John and Nina share a dinner. Michael hits a roadblock. An angry Ryan and Victoria have another therapy session. Flo and Nina talk about John Silva and Ryan. Ashley is at the hospital for Jack. Things don't go well for Victoria during the therapy session. Dru presses Neil for a wedding date. Victor and Brad have a meeting and Brad receives some photos from Traci. Nikki fears the worst. Brad admits to Victor that he is no longer in love with Traci. Victor realizes that he may be responsible for Nikki going into early labor from the fall he caused. Nikki's water has just broke.

Michael is waiting for Christine in her apartment. Nina enters. Michael gags and ties her up. Hilary is back in her apartment. Paul gets a proof that Michael isn't in New York. He's sure that Michael is back in Genoa City. Christine gets home after work. Jack and Ashley discuss Jack's marriage and the loss of his and Nikki's baby. Later, Nikki enters the ranch with Jack. Nicholas and Victoria give her a warm welcome.

Paul is worried about Christine. He goes to Hilary's place to ask her if anything has changed during her absence. She mentions a hole in the wall. Scott confronts Brad about Lauren. Brad calls Lauren telling her he got a visit from Scott. Lauren tells him she loves her husband. Actually, Scott still here. Cricket is back in her apartment. Danny left a message on the answering machine. He's coming back tonight. Paul tells Danny that Michael Baldwin got into Hilary's apartment and made a hole in the wall, allowing him to get into Chris's apartment. There, the evil lawyer gagged Nina and tried to rape Cricket. Paul adds he arrived in time to shoot Michael and save Cricket.

Nina tells Ryan she wants to introduce him to her son. Paul is mad at Mary and Lynne for tracking April down behind his back. Traci calls Ashley. She says she'll come to Genoa. Cricket comes in Paul's office. She thanks Paul and Nathan for saving her the other night. They're both happy she's fine. Nathan leaves. Once alone with Paul, Cricket asks about Michael Baldwin. Paul explains that his injury wasn't serious, so he was released from the hospital and is now in jail where he belongs. Cricket says she wants to see him. Paul goes with her. Eve calls Victor to inform him that Cole will be there soon. Victor wants her to send her son to his office.

Olivia confronts Drucilla for not inviting their parents to her wedding. Jack asks Nikki who she wants in her life: Victor or him? Brad tells Lauren that Traci and Colleen are moving in back with him. Later, Traci arrives. In jail, Michael tells Christine that he doesn't remember what happened in her apartment. Mary tells Paul that she called April and wanted to visit her but April was cold and said she wouldn't be in New-York today. Paul asks Lynne to call April. April answers the call. Paul wonders why she lied to his mother and decides to go to New-York.

Jack is furious at Victor, who sent flowers to Nikki for what should have been their wedding anniversary. Paul is in New-York with Lynne. He calls April, who reluctantly accept to have lunch with him. She tells him she has a wonderful life with her husband and doesn't want to see Paul again. Katherine tries to find out if Jill is pregnant. When she gets her answer, she decides to spread the news to Jack.

Ryan gets his former job at Jabot back as Neil's assistant. Jill goes to Jabot to prevent Katherine from telling John that she's pregnant. Paul is in New-York. He thinks April is afraid of something. He notices she has a bruise on her neck, unbuttons her dress and realizes she's covered with bruises. She says she was in a car accident. Later, he gives Lynne an update. Lynne says she had an appointment with Dr. Lynch who seems to be a very nice man.

Katherine tells Jack that Jill is pregnant. Victoria and Ryan learn that their divorce will be final tomorrow. Later, Victor tells Victoria she doesn't have to go to the hearing. Nina is happy that Ryan will be a free man soon. Jill tells John they're going to have a baby. John is furious. Paul visits April again. He questions her about the accident. Jack and Katherine talk about Jill's pregnancy. Later, Jack advises John to call his lawyer. Jill confides in Rex about John's reaction to her pregnancy. Jack and Ashley discuss Jill, John and the baby Jill is expecting. Paul and Mary argue about April. Mary doesn't understand why April sent Heather to boarding school. Paul leaves. Mary asks for Lynne's help but Lynne insists she wants to stay out of it. Mary calls the boarding school and learns that Heather is a well-liked excellent student. Ashley, John Abbott, Neil, Brad, Jill and Victor have a meeting at Jabot. When it's over, John says it's Newman Entreprises' 25th anniversary and they all celebrate. Christine tells Danny she has a new case. Later, she spends time with Miles and Margaret at their apartment. Mary tells Paul she called Heather's boarding school. Heather is a well-liked excellent student but Mary feels something is wrong with April. Paul wants his mother to stay out of it. Jack tells Nikki he held the baby who got their son's heart.

Blade tells Ashley about his family, especially his evil twin brother. Paul returns to his office. He's surprised that Lynne is still there. He explains that the friend he was supposed to have dinner with had to cancel. He invites Lynne to dinner but she says she has other plans.

The police approach Nikki with questions regarding the car crash which supposedly killed Victor, resulting in a tear-jerking scene, among other stories.

Ashley tells Jack, Brad, Neil and John that Victor is dead. Victoria runs into Nina. Later, she tells Ryan she'll be working at Jabot for the summer. Danny has to cancel the dinner he planned to have with his wife. Cricket is about to leave the restaurant when she runs into Paul who invites her to have dinner with him.

Jack tells Jill that Victor is dead. Nikki tells Nicholas that his father was killed in a car accident. As for Victoria, she learned about her father's death from the news on the radio. Actually, Victor is alive. He's living in Hope's farm in Kansas. Paul and Christine are having dinner together. All of a sudden, Paul sees Danny with a woman in the restaurant.

Paul and Lynne tell Ashley what they've found out about Blade and his family. Cricket and John Silva are in courtroom for Margaret's case. The old lady stopped paying her rent three months ago. The judge says she has five days to pay what she has to. Traci leaves Genoa City with Colleen because Brad has no time for them; he's too busy with his career.

Jack wants Ashley to join him and their dad to get Jabo back. Brad tells Lauren that Tracy left. He's going to miss his daughter. Bad day for Christine; she has a fight with Danny about her busy schedule and then, she finds a letter of Michael Baldwin on her desk. Paul appears. He's a good listener and offers his help. Cliff tells Victor to go.

John Silva and Christine are working on Margaret's case when the old lady enters the office with Miles. Margaret explains she found 1,500 dollars in an envelope with her name on it in her mail box. Later, Christine confides in Paul. She fears Margaret did something wrong again. Paul says she didn't. Christine realizes that the money came from Paul. She says Margaret is lucky to have a friend like him, so is she. She gives Paul a hug. Knowing that Victoria is seeing someone, Nikki questions Ryan, to no avail. There's a party at the Abbotts. Paul, Lynne, Olivia, Nathan, Drucilla, Neil, Lauren, Scott and Brad are invited. Katherine isn't, but she shows up with Rex all the same. Jill is furious. After Katherine's departure, she puts her hand on her belly. Margaret and Miles are moved when Christine enters their apartment saying the three of them will have a picnic today.
