Christine is released from the hospital. Paul would like to leave too. He wonders what doctors are hiding from him. Ryan and Victoria have dinner together. They run into Cole and his publisher on the dance floor. Back at home and after a little raw, Cole and Victoria reconcile under the shower. Nina confront Ryan for having dinner with his ex-wife. Ryan begs her to trust him.

Paul calls Christine who agrees to come to Chicago and help him. Drucilla confronts Nathan. At the coffee house, Matt is upset when he sees Amy's picture in the newspaper. Christine talks to Amy and manages to convince her to come back to Genoa City.

Paul and Christine are back in Genoa City with Amy. Nick, Sharon, Nikki, Victoria and Cole have dinner at the ranch.

Jack tells Jill that he believes in Nick's innocence. Chris tells Paul she'll do everything she can to help Amy. Later, Paul calls Victor to tell him that Amy is back in Genoa.

Nick arrives at the prison. At Victor's request, Christine, Paul, John Silva and Mitchell Sherman gather in Victor's office. Victor tells them that he wants a new trial for Nick. Later, Sharon arrives at Paul's office. She wants to help to clear Nick's name. Ashley introduces Blade's twin brother Rick to her father.

Olivia shows Drucilla the ring that Nathan gave her. Danny runs into Nina at Gina's. Sharon tells Paul about Frank and the baby. Paul decides to go to Madison to talk to Frank. Christine and Victor are at Fairview to see Amy.

Paul tells Christine he has to go to Madison to talk to Franck. He would like her to come with him. At first, she declines, but later, she calls him to let him know she's joining him.

Paul and Christine are in Madison. After talking to Franck, they wonder if the gun used to shoot Matt might have been brought in Madison.

Paul and Christine find out that Matt brought a gun in Madison, but the salesman who saw his boss sell the gun doesn't want to make an official statement. Matt tells Drake that Amy is back in Genoa. Katherine gives Danny a letter from his deceased father. In that letter, Rex hopes that Danny remarried Christine.

Rick and Ashley are at Gina's. Mari-Jo is looking at them.

Danny shows Christine the letter his father left for him. In that letter, Rex says he hopes his dear son is back with Cricket. Christine says she hates disappointing Rex, but she's in love with Paul. Phyllis has dinner with Peter at Gina's. Ashley tries to learn more about Blade's accident.

Mari-Jo tells Jill that Rick took Blade's place for three months. Ashley wants Rick out of Genoa City. Amy remembers she had a lot of friends in Genoa City. She mentions Sharon Collins and Nick Newman.

Christine gives Paul an update about her visit to Amy at Fairview. Malcolm gathers his family at the studio, but Nathan and Drucilla are giving Keesha the cold shoulder. Danny is happy when Gina tells him that Phyllis had dinner with Peter here. He says he'll be back with Cricket soon. Later, he pays Christine a visit and tells her they belong together. He's surprised when Paul appears, wearing a bathrobe.

Sharon gets a letter from Nick. Jill gives presents to Nina, Ryan and Philip.

Christine and Paul ask for Cindy's help to improve Amy's condition. Phyllis tries to make Danny jealous but it doesn't work at all.

Later, he enters the ranch with a good news: Nick agrees to let his mother and his sister visit him in prison. Mary calls her son to invite him for Christmas. Paul says he'll come if Christine is invited too. Keesha tells Malcolm she had an affair with Nathan. Ashley blames Mari-Jo for not telling her that Rick was in town and took his brother's place. Later, she lets John know she wants to move to Paris.

Drake tells Paul and Christine that he can't help them, but Amy could. Doctor Heming thinks it's too soon for Amy to come face to face with Matt Clark. Christine suggests that they bring Amy to Matt's place instead. Danny, Phyllis, Nina, Ryan, Philip and Gina arrive at the Chancellor Estate to wish Katherine a Merry Christmas.

It's Christmas in Genoa City. Paul is at Christine's place. Mary pays them a visit. John, Jill, Billy, Jack, Keemo, Mai and Luan are celebrating Christmas at the Abbotts' mansion. Olivia, Nathan and Nate are in Drucilla and Neil's apartment. Keesha comes to the studio to wish Malcolm a Merry Christmas.

Jack sees Nikki getting out of Brad's office. Paul and Christine are planing to bring Amy to Matt's place. Keesha asks for Nathan's help.

Paul asks for Drake's help to keep Matt Clark away from his apartment. Later, Paul enters Matt's apartment with Christine and Amy.

Amy is at Matt's place with Christine and Paul. She has visions of taking a gun and shooting Matt. All of a sudden, Matt enters his apartment. Nina is upset after seeing Victoria in Ryan's arms.

Victoria tells Nina she knows she saw her in Ryan's arms. Keesha tries to contact Stan. She learns from his brother that Stan just died from AIDS.
