Later, Amy tells Paul and Christine that she shot Matt Clark. Jill, Ryan and Nina are having diner at the Colonnades. Matt wants to escape but Drake stands on his way, asking for an explanation. Matt punches him and leaves.

Nick Newman is happy to be free and back home. While he is alone in his wife's office, Nathan Hastings gets a call from Keesha. He leaves to go to her place. When she comes back from the Newmans' party, Christine Blair finds Paul Williams in her apartment.

Paul and Christine were thinking of a romantic night, but Mary makes them change their plan: Christine has to choose her wedding dress tonight. Paul leaves. Nathan learns about Keesha's health's issues. Dina calls Katherine. Lynne enters Paul's office. Nathan's there, alone. Lynne wonders what's wrong with him but Nathan doesn't want to talk and he leaves. Later, Paul appears in the office, kindly bringing a coffee for Lynne.

Olivia tells Drucilla that Nathan didn't come back last night because of work. Drucilla calls Paul who knows nothing about the work that is keeping Nathan away from his family. Drucilla tells Olivia that Nathan had an affair with Keesha Monroe. Jack and John are having lunch in a restaurant. Jill is there too. Danny comes to Christine's place with a video tape of their wedding and honeymoon.

Paul finds a damage video in the trash at Christine's. He tries to fix it but Christine insists it's not necessary. She destroyed the video on purpose. The video is from Danny. It shows their wedding and their honeymoon in Hawaï. Paul gives Christine a hug. The phone's ringing. It's John Silva telling Christine that Victor Newman wants to see her. Paul confronts Danny about the video. He says it makes Christine suffer and she doesn't deserve that.

Chritine tells Nina that she loves Paul and will marry him soon. Later, Danny calls Christine. He tells her he will always love her and he wishes her a good night. Paul tries to help Nathan, to no avail.

Katherine and Esther welcome Dina at the Chancellor Estate. Christine tells Paul that Victor offered her a job. Nikki calls Sharon and asks her to meet her at the ranch.

Brad calls Nikki from Istambul. He's there for work. Later, Katherine arrives at the ranch. Nikki tells her about her disapproval of Nick and Sharon's relationship. Nina is having lunch with Ryan. Danny and Phyllis are at the courthouse for their divorce hearing. Christine calls Paul to tell him that Victor is inviting them for lunch. Paul says he has a meeting that he can't cancel.

Phyllis is upset after learning that Paul and Christine's wedding was called off.

At the ranch, everyone is waiting for Brad. He finally shows up. Cole asks everyone to take place for the wedding.

Nina, Paul, Drucilla, Neil, Katherine, Jack, Nick, Sharon, Victoria, Nikki, Cole and Brad learn that Victor got shot. Nick, Victoria, Nikki and Brad leave to go to the hospital. John Silva runs into Jill at Gina's. She tells him that Victor threatened her to make her life a hell if she doesn't give John Abbott what he wants. Jack tells Ashley and John that Victor got shot. At the hospital, Paul comforts Christine after learning she was with Victor when he got shot. The surgeons appears and says everything will be done to save Mr Newman's life.

Sharon gets upset when she see Nick talking with a nurse. Ryan and Nina plan to have another baby. Then, Nina tells Ryan that Victor Newman got shot. Neil tells Drucilla he'll get new responsibilities at Newman Entreprise since Victor's severely injured and Brad Carlton got fired. Katherine wish Nikki good luck with her new doctor. After learning where Nathan and Nate are, Paul, Malcolm, Neil, Olivia and Drucilla rush to the address they got. Mari-Jo is at Christine's place. She's looking for the proof Victor has against her. Since she can't find it, she kidnaps an unconscious Christine. Paul and Malcolm go to the bus station. They are told that Nathan was seen there but no one can tell them where he has gone. Nikki is paying Katherine a visit.

Paul and Christine decide to get married next Wednesday. Paul spreads the news to Mary and Lynne while Christine invites Victor, Nina and Ryan to her wedding. Victor tells Jack that Mary-Jo did shoot him and kidnapped Christine Blair. Nikki invites Joshua Landers to the ranch. Malcolm shows Danny and Phyllis the pictures he took of Drucilla and Phyllis the night before. Danny is impressed.

Nick tells his mother that he doesn't want her to stay alone. Later, Katherine questions Nikki about the good doctor she's been seeing. Phyllis asks Tim to come with her on vacation. Nathan thinks of happy times with Olivia and their son. He tells Nate they're going to see mom. Paul is sure that Olivia met Nathan somewhere and he questions her about that.

Victoria questions her mother about Josh. Olivia is back at work. Paul searches the place Nathan has been staying in.

Nathan is rushed to the hospital. Olivia is told that her husband has been in a terrible accident. She tries to learn where Nate is but Nathan can't talk. Paul and Drucilla convince Olivia to go back home. They're all surprised to see Nate, asleep at Olivia's doorstep. Tim agrees to go on vacation with Phyllis.

Olivia, Paul and Drucilla find Nate asleep at Olivia's doorstep. The little boy explains that his dad brought him back here. Cole and Nina are in Boston. They are having dinner together while Ryan and Victoria are in the ranch, near the swimming-pool. Nathan wakes up and sees Paul and Lynne at his bedside. Later, he asks to see his son. He dies soon after saying goodbye to his little boy. Phyllis and Tim are about to leave Genoa. Christine calls Paul; her work in Denver is over. "See you soon in Nevis", Paul says.
