Ridge and Stefanie worry Eric shows little enthusiasm for his new fashion company. He learns what she overheard about Nick. Taylor pussyfoots around Nick's kiss and tries again to make him sell Forester Creations, in vain so far. Brished off by Taylor, Stefanie goes press Nick, who now feels betrayed by Taylor, to sell back. When Nicke refuses, she promises he'll regret it 'when your world comes crushing down'. Jacqui complains Taylor's sessions destroyed her bond with Nick.

Jaqueline tells Clark and Donna his present designs are just not good enough for the new management's first fashion show. Stefanie barges in to ask Jacquie, then Nick, to sell Forrester Creations back, in vain. Then has a go at Taylor, who claims she just needs more time. Ridge proposes to find captain Jerry Kramer as proof, and leave Taylor out of it, as she technically hasn't been hired as Nick's shrink. Stefanie manages to invite him.

Jaqueline is still not quite happy with Clark's cruise line. Taylor still makes her day by convincing Nick to truly forgive her. Captain Kramer has arrived and falls into Ridge and Stefanie's trap. Thorne overhears what they found out and how. The trio agrees it's worth saving dad from a depression by getting Forrester Creations back. As they speculate, the Marone board members who will attend the show are uneasy about a fashion subsidiary, even without a scandal.

It's nail-biting everywhere now Nick's first Clark Garrison-designed cruise collection is being presented. The Marone board attends, worrying about their 'conservative values'. Stefanie brings captain Kramer, in uniform. Taulor hears about the sabotage plans, probably too late. Thorne knocks out Clark to approach the models and cue a spectacular 'sho-stopper' in the literal sense.

Stefanie's announcement Jaqualine has a prostitute past bombs Nick's fashion show into chaos. The Marone board is instantly interested in Ridge's offer to buy Forrester Creations back. Taylor is furious at Stefanie's treason: friendship canceled, even Thorne's loyalty is questioned.

After Jaqueline's exposure, she feels guilty and Marone board member George insists that Nick must sell the Forrester Creations back. Taylor questions Thorne's sense of responsibility, Eric feels for his ex. The press haunts first Nick, then Ridge and Thorne for the sale in the first place, implicating Taylor. George has even worse news for Nick, most promising for the Forresters.

Nick is amazed by George's announcement that he's replaced as Marone Industries' CEO. Jaqueline feels guilty, Nick swears revenge at any cost. Ridge is delighted dad will get his company back. Thorne's joy is spoiled by Taylor questioning his actions, loyalty and confidence in her. All Foresters get a shock when Satalino and Nick announce the Forrester Creations sale.

Eric proves comforting toward Jaqueline, Stefanie hostile as ever. The news Nick sold his Marone stock to buy all Forrester Creations himself hits the family like a bomb. Eric turns on Stefanie, Jaquie kisses him. Taylor stands by Thorne again. Thorne, Taylor and Brooke discover Allie and Hope quarrel about Darla's death.

Stefanie goes scold Jaqueline and tell her off Eric, while he graciously hosts visiting Pam. Jaquie then storms out to Eric, but Pam refuses to disturb him for her. Thorne and Taylor try to explain Darla's fatal accident to Alexandra, but she now turns against her ma's 'killer'. Feeling guilty she and dad became friends with her, Allie runs away at night.

While running away, Allie ended up on the road, just where Darla was killed, while Taylor drives by, followed by worried-sick Thorne, but this time she stops just in time. The brat scolds them both liars, Taylor mammy-murderer. Nick surprises Brooke by bringing divorce papers. Bridget tries to make Eric see Nick's side. When Taylor arrives, Brooke demands clarity whether she two-times Thorne.

While Ridge tells Shane off Phoebe, the boy stands his ground, claiming he'ld be just as protective of her and promising he'll prove himself to both of them, being converted to family-focus. Brooke scolds Taylor for caring more for Nick then Thorne's bride may, and consults Ridge.

Now Thorne's wedding is nearly prepared, he and especially Taylor stress if the girls' awareness she ran over Darla is an impediment for the marriage. Nick confirms to Bridget and Jacqueline he has definitely decided to divorce Brooke and won't fight Taylor's choice. Thorne cleverly convinces Alexandra to stop being a mean party-spoiler and accept his bride.

The family congregates for Thorne's wedding, except Stefanie who is stuck in Chicago. Jaqueline convinces Nick to fight for Taylor before it's too late. He tells his team, Donna and Storm, the way to success is sabotaging Eric's new firm launch. Despite a Darla-locket from daddy, Allie clearly still hates him marrying Taylor. Pam and Eric hid pictures she blotted, but a cut-up wedding dress can't be ignored. Taylor makes Thorne delay, but sobs in Nick's arms Allie won't accept her ever.

Nick and visitor Ridge exchanges promises the launch of Eric's new firm won't viz. will be a success, humbling the other. It is well receives by the press, but the name Forrester Originals may violate the sale terms of Forrester Creations. Nick jealously swears to break them by buying himself a virtual monopoly in vital distribution.

Eric calls all Forresters to help launch Originals, cockily confident. Ridge confides in Thorne he knows Nick is a dangerous challenger. Thorne refuses to doubt Taylor's loyalty, but she is over at Nick's, warning him in vain. Actually he plans, daunting even in Jaqueline's eyes, to control all five major distributors to prevent Originals reaching the crucial boutiques.

An amicable visit from Arthur, heir of the Harrison retail empire, confirms the family's confidence Forrester Originals is taken a great start commercially. Nick enjoys a flirtatious lunch with Taylor, who tells about her past before Ridge, but dashes off to meet Harrison and make him an offer. Ridge and Brooke 'chisten' the new offices.

Harrison promises Nick an answer in 48 hours whether he'll sell the boutiques chain. Jaqueline sneaks passed Pam, to wait for amused ex Eric in his bathtub, but feels to seduce him. Taylor tries to explain to Phoebe her feelings for Nick are innocent. Bridget overhears them and questions her motives.

Rick is back, having lost his Paris job in the war with Nick. He feels Ridge will end up letting Brooke down again. Bridget scolds Nick no longer being the man she once loved and married, just a vindictive bastard. Taylor admits to him she feels more then professional concern for him. Eric sooths Jacqueline's resent at Pam's prudish resentment at their bathroom intimacy, then commends Pam's unselfish daughterly dedication.

Although even Jacqueline fears the plan to buy all major fashion chains may be too expensive, Nick goes trough. Harrison actually sells to him. Even Storm is kept guessing why he sells assets and takes loans. Rick offers Nick his support, apparently hoping he'll give ma Brooke stability again. The Forresters still feel confident about the launch of Originals, and recall happy Creations memories.

Rick reproaches Ridge ruining Forester's international reputation irreparably and doubts if Originals will overcame Nick. Despite his doubts about Nick's motives, next fashion retail take-over-prey Chen still sells for a fortune. Storm finally hears the exclusivity exclusion plan.

Rick gives Phoebe modeling advice and disapproves of their parents getting married, then calls her a fake Forester because of both parents. While Eric enjoys Pam's housewife-touch, they discuss Stefanie wasn't prepared for domestic life. Nick and Brooke have a bitter confrontation about mutual demands and expectations.

Now Phoebe moves back home, Ridge hopes she can reconcile Rick with him. Rick was hurt in a leather-bar fight over the Franco-US attitude and leaves dinner, furious nobody tells him how Nick antagonized the family. Stefanie is happy to be back, and promises to start taking as good domestic care of Eric as Pam did, who assures her Jaqueline is no danger.

Brooke had a surprise waiting for her as she entered the room where her son, Rick, was lifting weights. While he was doing so, he was singing beautifully, something that Brooke was more than pleased to hear. He didn't want her to tell anybody of his talent, and also told her that he would not sing for her engagement party to Ridge, because he would have a smile painted on his face and that was the best that he could do. Ridge talked to his mother about the new Forrester Originals. Stephanie was pleased to hear about all the family being on board and supporting them. ...

Ridge fears Rick will turn obviously enamored Phoebe against him. Brooke has them sign a duet, her and Ridge's song, at their engagement party. Eric and Stefanie reward Pam with one of his Originals. Nick has chosen his next take over target, Yvette St. Julienne. To his delight, Taylor seeks comfort with him, now Allie's hostility ruined her wedding plans with Thorne.

Nick meets Yvette St. Julienne and her manager. They pretend their distribution chain isn't for sale, but he has financial information they're on the verge of bankruptcy. So they accept his 'generous offer' cheaper then the earlier acquisitions. Rick and Phoebe keep bonding.

Only Brooke makes a drama of Ridge's phrase to 'kill' Rick if he touches Phoebe. Stefanie is only pleased she's apparently over Shane, but worries why Hope visits Nick, even if she won't model for him. Rick is conferring with Nick, who already plans his East coast retail take-over, Harvey's chain. Ridge and Brooke can't agree how to handle their adolescent kids' possibly budding affair, which isn't even happening.

Shane surprisingly turns up as office supplies sales executive, and gets Phoebe to accept a dinner date, with Rick's startled consent. Ridge rejects Brooke's claim Rick's intentions are innocent, over-protecting Phoebe would only make him a forbidden fruit. Just when Pam was to return to ma in Chicago, Ann arrives, considering at Eric's invitation to move to Santa Monica. Rick brings his own date Jenna to the restaurant where Shane feels he fails to impress or interest Phoebe. Indeed she ogles Rick, and learns he didn't plan to return to Paris.

After disappointed Shane's disappearance, Rick brings Bridget home and probes her insecure feelings. Stefanie is forced to accept Eric already invited her terminal ma and sister to move in, and horrified to hear Ann shamelessly milks him for a car with driver, complete wardrobe and even a modeling cameo. Nick orders Storm to arrange a meeting with the mysterious Harvey Golden, and gets an appointment.

Ridge and Rick keep telling everybody about the other's bad and their own good intentions. Nick gets his negotiation with the elusive Harvey Golden and his assistant. Golden knows about his plan and demands 'more then money'. Stefanie sides with Ridge, which antagonizes Brooke on Phoebe's side.

Nick accepts Harvey Golden's exorbitant price, plus owing him 'any future favor'. After Jaquie admires Eric's latest design, Stefanie accuses her of trying to recruit the designer. Ridge keeps watching Rick like a hawk. Thorne smells a rat about distribution.

The Forresters are all excited to present Eric's glorious first Originals collection. But the buyers don't turn up for the fashion show, the press is lured to Nick's and Thorne reports all boutiques are temporarily closed. None of the sold chain owners can talk, due to Nick's confidentiality clause. The Jacqui M International is presented to the press.

Nick's team celebrates his triumph and he sends Taylor Valentine's Day roses. The Forresters face a risky choice: either sell out, as Ridge feels the only sensible option, or mortgaging everything, as Eric proposes, to start their own fashion boutiques chain. Brooke goes beg Nick to admit Originals to Jacquie M, and acts jealous of Taylor.

Rick and Ridge's bickering now extends from conflicting family loyalties to business strategy. Brooke stops them and says Nick considers her peace plea. Nick and Taylor deny their affair drove Thorne away, as Brooke assumes. They enjoy a romantic Valentine's dinner. Rick warns Brooke not to let Taylor snap up Nick, but she's happy in bed with Ridge.

Stephanie, Eric, Brooke and Ridge all go up to Big Bear. The foursome celebrate the 5,000 pieces they've made together as a team.

Rick and Phoebe visit C.J.Garrison's bar Insomnia, where karaoke night has been moved, so they get pressed to do a romantic duet. The press is positive about Clark's designs, but merciless for Donna. Brooke presses Nick again to make peace, and has another jealous alteration with Taylor, who calls her the ultimate egoist.

The Foresters are even more desperate now Brooke reports her failure in trying to get Nick to offer peace, but Eric pushes for their own luxury boutiques on at least 10 world top locations. Ridge still worries about Phoebe and Rick, who gives her a ride back after their karaoke night duet in his old truck, which breaks down. Pam finally blames Stefanie for dumping demanding ma on her.

Ridge wants to throw Rick out of the house, Brooke refuses. Nick is surprised Taylor considers Rick inappropriate for Phoebe. She dares him to strip poker. In Rick's broken-down pick-up truck, nothing happens, yet Ridge grill rick when they return. Taylor pokers the pants off Nick, but switches to kissing while he still wears boxers.

Between kisses and cuddles, Nick and Taylor discuss the one great void in his life: progeny. Furious to be chased from Brooke's home by Ridge, Rick moves to Bridget. After hearing he and Phoebe kissed, Brooke also turns against their relationship as a family-wrecking risk.

Brooke implores Rick to give up Phoebe 'before you really fall in love' for her, Ridge and their younger kids' sake. Rick first turns the tables, she should give up unreliable Ridge. Finally he caves in, but Pheoeb can't accept being dumped for others' sake. Ridge promises to praise Rick's 'wise' decision, while Brooke realize their own bond proved breakable again.

After dumped Phoebe left Rick, she wept outside, but he couldn't handle this so they started kissing again, without telling their relieved parents. Nick points out to Brooke that separating their kids won't stop the attraction. Eric worries about the boutiques launch business risks. Ridge comes up with a publicity stunt solution: marrying Brooke at their Hollywood grand opening.

Ridge takes charge of his public wedding planning. Ridge now trusts Rick again, ignoring he and Phoebe are kissing secretly. While Pam also helps Eric conceiving a Forester boutiques look, ma sneers Stefanie takes less good care of her husband and meddles in his -not their- business, even suggests he should be more like her late pa. Stef wants to send her back to Chicago, Eric to keep her in the main house.

Brooke catches Rick and Phoebe kissing again. They refuse to feel guilty anymore. Brooke will only accept it if Ridge is told. Stefanie questions Ridge whether a media wedding is the right choice- and the recycled bride. While making out on his yacht, Nick and Taylor have motor trouble causing a blackout.

Rick tells Bridget he's moving out because of his love for Phoebe. To the family's horror friendly fashion magazine reporter Jarrett Maxwell already knows about their duet, so the scandal may overshadow even the wedding at the opening, despite a warning that would end his exclusives privilege. Nick and Taylor enjoy contemplating, floating the ocean and life, until a tanker rocks the yacht to smithereens.

After one of his own tankers ran over Nick's yacht, he saved Taylor just in time, and she's diagnosed without any lasting harm. Brooke agrees Ridge isn't told for now. Stefanie guesses anyhow, but Ridge won't hear about it.

The Foresters concentrate on preparing the wedding/opening, which allows Ridge and Rick to work together closely again. Taylor is recovering at home. Stefanie tells an astounded Nick Taylor is not right for him, but rather Brooke, whom she thinks will soon leave Ridge. She overhears the lovebirds planning to sneak away to the Big Bear cabin.

Stefanie gets Ridge to drive with her to the Big Bear cabin, where Rick and Phoebe are indeed kissing by the fire behind their back. Taylor asks Nick in bed what if Brooke really becomes available again, as Stefanie suggested. The love-birds are caught red-lipped.

Ridge's indignation to find Rick and Phoebe making out is toppled when Stefanie tells Brooke knew but kept it from him, which they scolds as liar betrayal. On the way home Brooke dares scold Ridge for seeming physically threatening to Rick. Nick tries to cuddle Taylor's doubts away. Back in Big Bear, Phoebe gets Rick to kiss her again.

Rick tries to convince Phoebe they need to go easy and win their parents' confidence back. Ridge and Brooke come to a modus-vivendi about Rick. Taylor overhears Jaqueline suggesting to Nick he may still have a shot at 'ideal daughter-in-law' Brooke if Stefanie is right Ridge will back up on their wedding.

The Forresters try to concentrate on preparing the grand opening-wedding. Stefanie still doubts Ridge's claim he and Brooke stopped Rick's affair. Phoebe reproaches Brooke to have cowardly and selfishly sided against Rick's love. Rick gets a surprise visitor: Ashley Abbott. Ridge warns Phoebe Rick may not wait for her, she reacts that 'would be your fault'.

Rick's visitor Ashley Abbott, his Paris fashion contact and ex, tells him she's starting her own L.A. perfume consultancy firm. Forrester wants her to start their own line, 'Phoebe'. Nick's camp learns about the wedding-opening in the press, which also reports a rumor it may still fall trough. Phoebe rejects Ridge's suggestion to date boys her own age. Jacqueline overhears Brooke tells him going rough on Rick could break the happy couple up.

Rick bumps into Ashley Abbott in Café Russe, rather flirtatiously, while Phoebe speaks up for her relationship with him. Stephanie bumps into Jacqueline, who was concerting with Donna about the advantages of breaking up Ridga and Brooke, yet Stephanie is received and parts on a hostile tone.

Rick convinces Ashley during dinner to accept working for Forrester Originals on its new perfume line. Jacqueline stops Nick making out with Taylor by bringing over his daughter Hope. Donna tries to get Phoebe on her and Jacquie's side to break up Ridge and Brooke.

Phoebe can barely tolerate her dad's presence anymore and presses Rick to show their love. Nick agrees with Taylor they thank their happiness together to being dumped. Nick's scolding of Jaqueline's attempts to sabotage them is countered by her question what if Brooke left Ridge again, soon and for good. Ridge notices Taylor's semi-undress. Together they find how Phoebe cutting Rick's hair went out of hand.

Ridge uses Phoebe having cut shirtless Rick's hair 'against their promises' as an excuse to break them up in the office, but Taylor stops him firing her and warns she won't chose dad over Rick. Ashley formally accepts the perfume line job, taking a leave of absence from Jabot. Stefanie hopes she'll help out in the family aspect of Forrester Originals, Rick to help him and Phoebe. The love-birds end up kissing again.

Taylor rejects Stefanie's claim Rick and Phoebe should be broken up and assures her she doesn't even want Ridge or any Forresters back in her life, she now loves Nick. Jacquie has no more luck reviving interest in Brooke with Nick, who fondly recalls saving Taylor from drowning. After finding a pregnancy book in Taylor's room, Stefanie seeks a hell-pact with Jaqueline to make Nick break up and return to Brooke. Taylor surprises Nick with the restoration of his yacht. He rewards her with a proposal.

Brooke is in Sydney for the perfume promotion. She wants Ridge to bring Phoebe and Rick, whom he fails to keep away. Minutes after Taylor accepts Nick's proposal, he surprises her by suggesting they should have children. She eagerly agrees. Telling Brooke the news gets him and her nostalgic.

All the flight to Australia Ridge breeds down Rick's neck, trying to lay down the law on keeping off Phoebe. At arrival, Brooke lets the kids escape to the hotel while she drags Ridge along sightseeing. Donna tries to win Bridget for her and Jacqie's plan to break up Ridge and Brooke trough a fight over Rick so she'll return to Nick.

Ridge may enjoy sightseeing in Sidney with Brooke, he still tries everything to keep Phoebe apart from Rick: he sent a separate limo with driver, Glenn, whose arrival interrupts their kissing session. Ridge denies the relationship to outsiders. Nick and Taylor assure Jaquie viz. Stefanie they're only interested in each-other, regardless of Ridge and Brooke. Jaqui now promises her full support.

Eric and Stefanie have a violent row over how to welcome and forgive her mother. She's furious to be told her anger and look recall her abusive father. Ridge and Brooke made up in bed, but after a nightmare about Stefanie's aggression she fears he may have inherited some of her violent hate. He assures he will never turn on Rick violently. Phoebe promises Rick an way to meet despite 'watchdog' Davis.

At the Sidney Originals store opening, Ridge 'proudly' presents Rick as international division chief and Phoebe as perfume face, then the love-birds sneak off to the bridal suite. Nick proposes Ashley double her Forrester salary, in vain. Jacquie tells Donna she now believes Nick is truly in love with Taylor. Nick agrees to cancel his appointments to seize's Taylor's fertility peek, but first takes her to a wedding chapel. Ridge hears from the hotel about the suite, finds the lovers and looses his self-control.

In out-of-control rage, Rideg had knocked down Rick, who hurt his head falling. Ridge shouts Phoebe and he are now forbidden to see each-other at all, which only makes them run outside, still in jacuzzi bathing suits. Brooke now sees Ridge as a dangerous brute, unfit as groom. Meanwhile Nick agrees to postpone his sudden chapel-proposal to Taylor so her kids can attend, and return to love-making.

On the flight home from Sidney, Rick and Brooke consider if the successful business outweighs the personal misery it brought and how to have a future. Ridge and Phoebe sulk on a separate flight. Jacqui tells Donna she no longer wants Brooke to get Nuick back now he and Taylor want a child. The love birds are working on that 'special project no. 1' in bed. Taylor has slipped out for a patient call, when Brooke arrives.

Rick tells Ashley what happened in Sidney. Nick is totally surprised by Brooke's sudden appearance, story and willingness to remarry him, having dumped Ridge 'forever'. But he refuses to take her back again. Unsespectig Taylor is hearing Jaqueline, now on her side. When she returns, she sees Brooke undressing Nick on the bed. Ridge gloomily consults Stefanie.

Finding Brooke over shirtless Nick, Taylor gets her whole story and berates her narcissistic random man-switching borderline. Then she announces pregnancy 'probably soon' and scolds Brooke's age-remark. Ashley tries to console Ridge, Stefanie to make him forget about Brooke.

Rick rejects Phoebe's suggestion they broke up their parents and points out there's no more reason to hide. Nick tells Taylor only she makes him stable, feeling happy and healthy. Ridge tells Felicia his wedding is off. Stefanie expects Brooke to move out of Forrester HQ.

The Sidney drama keeps haunting the Forresters. Rick presses Brooke to keep trying to get Nick back, later informs him. Stefanie asks Bridget to help, in vain. Jacqui has no luck trying to interest Nick in Brooke if Taylor isn't pregnant. Taylor walks in on them, most confidently. Rick however warns Nick he would end up hurting Taylor, being destined for Brooke.

Taylor tells black-eyed Rick she disapproves of Ridge's brutality, but shares his concern, because Phoebe is still inexperienced and immature, and fears he may resemble his irresponsible mother. He counters with noble intentions. Ashley presents scent designs to Forresters, while dreaming of kissing Rick in Paris. Bridget sees a Paris souvenir fall. Brooke demands to be heard by Nick, claiming they're not finished as a family unless Taylor is pregnant, which he replays to hope. Rick and Phoebe disagree which bride Nick should choose.

Ridge feels he lost Brooke for good, by his own uncontrollable temper. Taylor and Brooke's yes-no game who Nixck will chose goes on. Stefanie tells Nick to stay with Taylor forever, or dump her now before a child complicates everything further. Ashley tells Bridget in confidence about her affair with Rick in Paris.

Rick discovers Ashley asked Brooke to integrate her perfume project in Forrester. Ashley is rather understanding for overprotective dad Ridge. Nick reassures Phoebe he accepts she wants her parents back together. Brooke announces she's leaving Forrester Originals to prove to Nick he comes first. When Rick confronts Ashley, she admits she wants their affair back.

Eric nor Ridge can talk Brooke out of leaving Forrester Originals. Stefanie is almost pleased, but Nick doesn't welcome her intended proof of love, nor stealing a kiss. Rick makes clear to Ashley he enjoyed their affair in Paris, but the surprise kiss she gave him can't change he's in love with Phoebe.

Shane is back. He followed Phoebe to Taylor's. Nick throws him out just when she considered his plea that he needs to see her again so her influence can put his life back on the tracks. He keeps lurking around. Rick and Ashley enjoy reminiscing their hot first night in Paris, when musical goofing lead to sex. Taylor and Nick work up to her pregnancy test, pondering parental duties.

Taylor is disappointed to find out the pregnancy test results are negative. Taylor uses this information as a way to give Nick an out of their relationship, but instead, he wants to set a wedding date. Brooke is happy to learn via Stephanie that Taylor is not pregnant. Shane returns, more desperate than ever. Currently living out of his car, Shane pleads with Phoebe for a second chance. Ridge steps in accusing Shane of stalking his daughter. Shane gets defensive, making Phoebe even more nervous. As Ridge dismisses him, Shane returns to his car to write a letter to ...

Brooke is surprised that Ridge and Ashley are planning on going out on a date. Shane tries get in business with Forrester Creations but is thrown out by Nick. Later at Forrester Originals, Ridge also sets the record straight with Shane who then pulls a gun out of his jacket...

Stephanie has a heart to heart with Ashley. While discussing Ridge's and Rick's relationship over the years, Brooke and Taylor flash back to 1997 when a young Rick shot Grant Chambers. In Ridge's office at Forrester Originals a desperate Shane tries to shoot himself. When Ridge tries to stop him the gun goes off with both Shane and Ridge sinking to the floor... NOTE: This episode was delayed in the US for one day - because of the Virginia Tech shooting the day prior - and partially re-edited.

Ridge wrestles with desperate Shane to prevent him shooting himself in the head, but can't prevent a fatal gut-wound. Given the clemency he was granted in the Grant Chambers case (although innocent), Ridge fears a life-sentence or worse and decides to dispose of the corps at night from Nick's boat. Uninformed Stefanie watches him from a distance. Meanwhile Taylor asked the police, while dining with Nick, to keep an eye on instable Shane.

Stefanie follows Ridge back home, gets him to admit the truth and helps plan how to avoid arrest. Nick notices an incompetent was aboard his yacht but assumes a female culprit. Bridget and Brooke contemplate their on-off-loves, notably with Nick, who seems about to write the next chapter.

Stefanie helps Ridge trying to cover up the track and prevents him again for confessing the fatal incident to the police. Brooke is delighted when Nick admits his feelings for her and the kids haven't changed. But he declares they must stay apart to be parents to RJ viz. Taylor's unborn baby. Bridget however tells Taylor her eggs can't mature. Brooke now plans to fulfill Nick's child-wish herself.

Stefanie spills indelible ink over the blood-stained carpet and has it incinerated. To her joy, Ridge finds some consolation in kissing Ashley. Bridget grudgingly arranges Brooke's fertility test, disapproving of her plan to get Nick back by offering him parenthood. Taylor is disappointed at Nick's reluctant reaction when she brings up adoption or rather IVF, but soon wins him over to the last. When Brooke arrives, without waiting for the actual test results, Nick makes clear he has chosen for Taylor and a baby carried by her.

Bridget is appalled Brooke already made Nick a parenthood offer before her fertility results were in, surprised Taylor already countered with IVF, but relieved everybody now accepts Nick's choice. Indeed Rick confirms so to Phoebe, even Brooke goes concede defeat and wish Taylor well. Meanwhile Ridge is told he's welcome to kiss Ashley but not expected to get serious soon. They get a surprise visit from the police, telling him not to bother with a formal restraining order against Shane.

Shane's lost cellphone ringing in his office nearly makes Ridge betray himself to the police, but Stefanie helps him pretending it's her own. And suggests to Ashley some time off with Ridge, say in Catalina. Nick and Taylor are lucky: their favorite sperm donor is already available, even Taylor's cycle is in sync to start IVF soon. Rick congratulates Nick but declines to be his best man, because of Brooke, but she tells him to accept.

Haunted by Shane's death, Ridge can't concentrate on his work, which shows too much. Now missing Shane's restraining order is granted, as Taylor requested for Phoebe's protection, the police assigns competent LAPD detective Troy Scott to his case. Taylor and Nick look forward to their wedding, and postponing the wedding night on account of the first IVF procedure, which Jaqueline is thrilled to learn about. Best man Rick asks a last time if he gives up Brooke for good.

After a last desperate kiss from Brooke to win him back, Nick walks straight to the altar for his sentimental wedding with Taylor, without reception on account of now publicly announced IVF treatment. Stefanie enjoys taunting Brooke having lost everything by her own doing, yet forbids her to call Ridge undesirably violent and is uneasy to be reminded a child binds forever. Ridge and Ashley kiss and plan a naughty holiday.

Stefanie reassures Ridge's fear that the police will find him trough the fashion bag he dumped Shane in. Indeed it was picked up by forensics, but the detectives also have a lead to Nick's yacht Shady Marlin II. Nick is uneasily embarrassed at the IVF sperm donation, despite Bridget's encouraging welcome.

Ridge is still near confessing, feeling the police will find him out anyway, but Stefanie stops him. It's music to hear ears when Taylor comes ask her to intervene with the police: she fears to be a suspect after the Darla drama, but also Nick, who snapped to the police he'ld act if they didn't keep Shane away from Phoebe. Indeed the LAPD searches Nick's home after identifying Shane's hairs on his yacht. Rick and Phoebe are optimistic again after catching Taylor's bridal bouquet.

While the police works on forensics, Stefanie tries to convince Ridge not to feel guilty if Nick gets blamed but embrace his luck. Nick refuses to be cautious but is interrogated with Taylor. Storm and Jacquie insist to come too. Eric is finally home and gets briefed by Bridget. Rick clearly disapproves of Ashley dating Ridge worse then she doubts Phoebe being ripe for him.

Rick is stunned that Ashley is seeing someone else. Lt. Baker has the Forresters and Marones gathered at the Forrester Mansion and he's ready to make an arrest in the Shane McGrath murder case. Baker imagines how Shane was killed - by Nick! Seconds later, Nick is arrested...

Taylor protests as Nick's arrest and jailing, but he makes her leave his defense to Storm and concentrate on her IVF treatment. Stefanie fights Ridge's sense of guilt. He finally tells her he lied about killing Grant to protect then young Rick.

CJ tempts Rick and Phoebe to consider singing regularly in his establishment. Storm gets Nick released on $1,000,000 bail. Ashley's arrival doesn't help Stefanie's efforts to talk Ridge out of confessing to spare innocent Nick, yet she encourages them to leave on holiday. He heads for the Forrester mansion, to confront most likely murder(er)-framer Stefanie.

C.J. trick Rick and Phoebe into giving another karaoke performance. Thorne is finally home and gets briefed. Nick is free on bail and presumes the Forresters must have set him up, but still ignores the truth.

Rich enjoys his date with Ashley, meeting her young daughter Abby. She keeps quiet about her aborted affair with Rick. Nick has hired a P.I. and keeps insisting the Forresters must have framed him. Taylor starts to find Stefanie's defensive attitude suspicious.

Ridge worries as the truth is being searched by many. Nick questions Ashley, who refuses to believe in Ridge framing him. Ashley remembers a shot-like sound and questions Stefanie. Taylor calls Stefanie a bad friend for wanting her Nick to be charged, guilty or not. Nick 'promises' Ridge he'll turn the tables.

Stefanie convinces Ridge to get out of the heath by attending the Forrester originals boutique opening in Paris and stay there a while. Rick is far from amused that CJ posted his karaoke duet with Phoebe on Internet, which arouses interest from Constantine Parros. Stefanie's body language convinces Taylor she's covering up, which fits Nick's theory Ridge was Shane's killer. Storm convinces Nick to confront the LAPD rather then turn to the press immediately.

Nick finds the LAPD still reluctant to consider Ridge a suspect. Jackie asks Brooke, in vain, to return to Forrester Creations. Musician Constantine Parros tells Phoebe he's starting his own record label, and wants to sign up her and Rick as new vocal talent. Lab technician Jerry gives Bridget early test results: Taylor is pregnant. Rick gives Eric his view on events until his return.

Ashley tells Rick she believes Ridge may well have killed Shane. They ponder what she know. Stefanie still believes the bluff will work. Constantine Parros receives Phoebe is his label's recording studio. Taylor is served a formal charge for Nick. He is arrested at the Forrester mansion for breaking his court-ordered contact ban.

Nick is arrested again for breaking the restraining order and effectively jailed. Nevertheless he remains cocky and arrogant, even towards the police. Rick visits him and exchanges suspicions about Ridge, now convincing both of a set-up. Phoebe however considers any such suggestion a vicious lie. Storm makes Brooke doubt. Stefanie tries to make the D.A., a socialite friend, put Nick on trial as soon as possible.

Rick promises Nick to search the Forrester premises for proof against Ridge. Phoebe catches him in Ridge's office. Storm still lacks a defense angle. Ashley dreams of Rick kissing her. Brooke believes Stefanie it was an accident and learns Ridge took the blame for then young Rick shooting Grant. She still insists to inform the police.

Phoebe is so disgusted by Rick searching for evidence against her dad that she questions their relationship. In jail, Nick and Storm urgently need some concrete element for his defense. Stefanie pulls all the stops to stop Brooke telling the police the truth, from nearly strangling her to begging and pleading Ridge risked going to jail by taking the blame for Rick's homicide. As all fails, she takes Brooke to Ridge's alleged hide-out, the Big Bear cabin, to trap her. Phoebe returns to Constantine.

Nick's trial starts without hard evidence from Rick or Ashley. Judge Devin Owens refuses any delay asked by Storm and rebukes Nick's cocky attitude. Brooke and Stefanie's whereabouts remain unknown. In fact Stefanie stills holds Brooke captive in the Big Bear cabin. Even after Brooke reluctantly promises to keep quit until Nick's sentence, as an acquittal would make exposing Ridge pointless, Stefanie prevents her escape.

In Paris, Ridge is tormented by Shane's haunting death and disposal. At Nick's trial, Storm tries to counter testimonies from harbor master, LAPD and forensics. Jaqueline is called. After Brooke' failed escape, Stefanie holds her at gunpoint and is told she can only assure silence by homicide, but is offered an alternative: also telling the truth about Rick killing Grant as a minor.

Ridge flies home from Paris to testify. Against Stefanie's advice, he goes to the trial in progress rather the wait hoping for an acquittal. Phoebe dumps Rick for taking Nick's side at Ridge's expense. The jury has already deliberated before Ridge can testify. The verdict is guilty.

Even now the jury has found Nick guilty, Stephanie pleads to wit for the sentence which may be suspended or 'only a few years'. Ridge however decides to do the right thing at once. First he explains to Phoebe and Taylor what happened. Then he visits bitter, aggressive Nick in jail.

Ridge visits Nick in jail and tells him about the fatal accident. Instead of welcoming the bravely delivered get free-card, Nick remains hostile and abusive. Eric is appalled when Stephanie tells him how badly she advised Ridge, and insists she goes confess her part too. The judge and D.A. sit trough Taylor's emotional babbling. Once Storm gets them to Ridge, his confession leads to Nick's immediate release and Ridge's jailing. Eric tells Ridge he's sorry for -, not disappointed in his son.

Nick and Taylor celebrate him being home again. In shock over both her father's confession and her breakup with Rick Phoebe recalls her love story with Rick. On the Forrester Originals jet, Rick and Ashley head off for a business trip which he suddenly cancels. Reluctant at first, Ashley agrees to a Mexico get-away and responds to Rick's advances: they kiss.

Learning about Ridge's confession, Rick decides to return from Mexico with Ashley. Eric curses Stefanie's self-righteous part, ultimately at Ridge's expense. Nick and Taylor enjoy their impending parenthood, teasing whether it will be a boy a she holds. Constantine makes clear he's serious about offering Phoebe a musical career, and suggests it will distract her.

Rick kisses Ashley again on the plane home. There she steps back when Phoebe flings herself on his neck, seeking comfort and regretting she dumped him for being right about Ridge. Felicia accuses Coinstabtine of preying on vulnerable Phoebe by attracting her to his label for free Forrester publicity. Meanwhile Brooke objects to Taylor's sneers Rick probably picked up his ma's lack of sexual inhibitions.

Brooke visits Ridge in prison and offers her support. While at work at the hospital, Bridget notices that Brooke's eggs were send to the fertility lab instead of the research lab, and furthermore, that they were sent out the same day that the donor's eggs for Taylor were fertilized. Before Taylor starts to experience morning sickness, Nick shows her some designs for a new maternity line. Phoebe tells Rick that she needs him and the two promise each other that nothing will break them up again. Rick visits Ashley and give her a passionate goodbye kiss, but it is clear ...

Rick and Ashley agree to part maturely with a goodbye-kiss, but clearly their hearts aren't into that. Phoebe visits Ridge in jail to comfort him. He insists she must go on with her own life, including a musical career with Constantine. Bridget discovers to her horror the hospital lab can't verify whether Taylor got IVF eggs from Brooke. Taylor is reluctant to help Ridge's defense as asked by Stefanie and Brooke, who insists on rekindling Rick's suppressed guilty murder memory.

Nick learns only now how far Brooke went to save him from jail at Ridge's expense. Bridget panics and keeps going on about the possible donor egg mix-up to the lab staff, then seeks comfort with Rick. Taylor tries to explain how dangerous tampering with Rick's self-protective memory black can be, Brooke he owes it to Ridge for taking the blame in the Grant Chambers case.

Ridge was resigned to conviction when Stefanie present his new defense lawyer, Christine Blair. She thinks reviewing the Chambers conviction and Shane's past could turn his changes around. Rick is unwilling to testify. Taylor refuses to hurry therapy. Bridget wrestles with the consequences of telling Taylor about the mix-up or not. Hospital chief of staff Mills officially concludes there was none.

Rick can't believe Ridge would accuse him of being the one who shot Grant Chambers. Rick is again surprised when Taylor does not contradict Ridge's statement. Brooke is very concerned about how the truth will affect Rick, and is angry that the secret came out the way it did. Constantine questions Phoebe's love for Rick and is concerned that he's not the right guy for her. Then, Constantine replays "Girl Like You", the song he wrote for Phoebe, and imagines a sunny day in Hollywood with her.

Rick still rages how outrageous Ridge's 'claim' is. Phoebe is confused now Constantine has planted the seed of doubt in Ridge and confronts him. Brooke is relieved Taylor accepts to keep trying. They now must tell Nick too. Lab cleaner Carl Ferret contacts Bridget- about the eggs.

Phoebe gets Rick to confess his infidelity with Ashley. He insists it was a meaningless one-night-stand as he loves only her and kisses up. Lab cleaner Carl Ferret tells Bridget he knows but her staff is covering up their own mistakes. Nick fantasizes about his unborn baby's future with Taylor and Brooke. Brooke turns down returning to Forrester Creations, but he talks her over.

In jail, Ridge tells Phoebe Rick called Grant and he took the blame for his and Brooke's sake. Taylor, Brooke and Stefanie still fail to make Rick accept that truth, while counsel insists time is running out. Carl Ferret presses Bridget to a Café Russe dinner promising he'll tell her about the eggs mix-up there. In fact he only promises he can look into a crucial log. Rick visits Ridge, accepts it might be true but insists he can't help as he remembers nothing he could testify.

Judge Devin Owens presides over Ridge's hearing. Defense and D.A. dispute mainly whether Rick should testify and if Taylor is fit to judge his state of mind. Phoebe and Brooke finally convince him he should help, and he appears in court just in time.

Ridge's hearing becomes a judge-only trial after the counsel wave the right to have a jury. Everything depends on Rick. After more pleading from the women, he testifies to remember killing Grant. The judge rules there is no concluding proof against Ridge. Afterward, Rick tells him he only lied to spare Phoebe loosing her dad. Grateful Ridge promises to stop opposing their relationship.

At a Forrester pool party, Constantine tells Ridge he's interested in Phoebe and ignores what she sees in a philanderer like Rick. Watching RJ inspires Brooke to accepts Ridge's offer to return to Forrester Originals. Nick is startled and considers holding her to her Brooke's Bedroom contract. Carl shows Bridget how different printers enable him to tell form the labels which eggs were implanted.

At the pool party, Rick fails to chase Constantine from Phoebe, who still ignores his own Ashley-affair. Ridge leads the Forresters cheers when Brooke proposes to return to their firm, opposed only by Stephanie. Carl shows radiantly relieved Bridget the new labels indicate Taylor got the their donor-eggs, but soon finds out a new printer was installed before the IVF.

While making love, Taylor tels Nick about a nightmare the eggs donor demanding their baby. Constantine and Phoebe enjoy her recording session and discuss her artist image. Rick objects to her posing as a 'cheap' sex-object, not quite fit for the perfume line. Bridget feels like reborn because of the label-proof, but Carl realizes the new printer invalidates that and goes tell at night.

Rick's personal objection to Pheboe's make-over don't convince her ti turn down Constantine's suggestions. But Ridge joins in stating her job as perfume spokesperson demands maintaining her clean-cut image. Bridget's distress over Carl's bad labeling news is overturned when her chief of staff shows records indicating there was no time for Brooke's eggs to be used in Taylor's IVF. Stefanie makes clear how unwelcome she considers Brooke.

Ridge is enjoying a date with Ashley, and assures her he's trough with returning to Brooke, who gets the same message from Stefanie. Rick tells Bridget he has chosen Phoebe, but would find it hard if someone snapped up Ashley yet. Rick also hopes he can counter Constantine's "cheap" influence on Phoebe by singing with her again. Eric refuses to oppose RJ spending time with his ma if that exposes Ridge to Brooke.

Ridge pulls back after Brooke's kiss, but she still feels she's winning him back with her and RJ. However Ridge and Stefanie, who goes gloat at Brooke's, assure Ashley she's the one he wants to be with. Phoebe and Constantine enjoy their duet recording session. Rick attacks the 'sleezy' image make-over plan and proposes to record a duet with her too, in order to let the audience decide whether rock or full-time perfume will be her career.

Rick stresses to Constantine that the duets contest must be fair. The young love-birds frolic and kiss by the pool. Ridge fails to take Phoebe out of pursuing a music career or let 'a boy-friend' constrain her future. Rick fails to talk Ashley out of coming clean about her being his one-night-fling.

The Forresters have a 4th of July family party. Even Thorne feels happy again. Brooke arrives, but Ridge tells her she's no longer part of the family, despite RJ, Ashley now is. Ridge and Phoebe prepare for the duet by choosing a duet. Constantine finishes his recording.

Rick and Phoebe record their duet. Stefanie is delighted to find Ridge and Ashley on lovers terms. Brooke tries to wriggle back in his life or even in-between them via work, but Ridge makes very clear 'they' are over. AShley insists it's time to reveal she was Rick's fling.

Eric tempers Stefanie's zeal to plead for removing Brooke from Ridge's life, even as business partner. Ridge makes ruthlessly clear he's with Ashley alone now. Bitterly hurt, Brooke ends up in a bar, where gentleman Andy flirts with her but she rudely storms out. On the way home, she has some fit and ends up by the road, dozing off. Ridge once more makes Ashley wait to reveal herself as his flirt. Carl joins Bridget at breakfast to tell her he feels a colleague about to retire messed up the IVF, but before he gets to the point Nick's arrival makes Bridget send him ...

While Brooke is dozed off by the road, RJ and Hope call 911, being alone too long as Donna absconded. The police arrives and calls Stefanie, who eagerly welcomes child protection. Brooke reeks after alcohol, spilled by her flirtatious non-date. Stefanie still agrees the children best remain at home, but considers 'protecting' them by seeing someone steps in if Brooke lets anything happen to them. Constantine speculates Phoebe's friend Madison may be Rick's one-night-stand.

Ridge and Ashley kiss in the corporate sauna. Stefanie uses the incident to suggest to reluctant Ridge, Eric and even Nick that RJ and Hope can't be left with Brooke anymore. Brooke confesses to Nick she still loves him, but he shows no interest. She turns to Taylor for advice about Ridge, who guesses the truth but still alleviates her maternal confidence-crisis.

Ridge and Ashley's towel come off in the corporate sauna for hot love. Nick makes very clear to Stefanie that he is standing by Brooke while committed to Taylor. Just when Taylor was starting to reassure Brooke's maternal insecurity, a fire at home rekindles her guilt.

Thorne still misses Darla terribly. Stefanie manages to make Socila Services mistrust Brooke's maternal skills, using the fire. The firemen find Nick's lighter but approves of the fire extinguishers. Ridge gets temporary sole custody.

Brooke may feel guilty, she's confident social services won't take her children away. She counts on help from Ridge, but he already took them safely with him and Ashley. Nick's combative approach only aggravates the social worker further.

Ridge keeps the kids with him and Ashley until Brooke's hearing, but still isn't convinced she should loose joined custody as Stefanie pleads. Nick acts as Brooke's champion, advising to exhibit as she 'did nothing wrong'. Meanwhile Taylor seeks a middle position.

The Foresters mind the kids while Ridge and his parents go testify and possibly get him assigned sole custody, as Stefanie hopes. Nick and Brooke fail to press Taylor into testifying on her behalf 'porofessinally', but she's served a subpoena. Judge Philip Friedman seemed favorable to Storm's defense, when Brooke starts raging about Stefanie's personal feud.

In Clark Jr.'s club Insomnia, Rick sings a romantic ballad with Phoeve, Constantine a routine song, yet the public cheers the star the loudest. At Brooke's hearing, she addresses Stephanie's 'vendetta' against Storm's advice. The judge seems most interested in Ridge's opinion that Brooke is a good mother but not right now. Taylor's protestation against being subpoenaed by the judge is waved. After trying to be vague and spare Brooke, as she and Nick expected, she's forced to admit she wouldn't trust Brooke to babysit her own unborn.

In Insomnia, judge Felicia declares the duets duel a tie. Rick expects Phoebe to choose him. Felicia calls Constatine her favorite- and kisses him. Judge Friedman's questions lead Taylor to disclose Brooke's maternal insecurity. Nick's attempt to take the blame for the fire is discarded. The judge rules Brooke isn't a bad mother but temporarily unreliable. Until therapy helps, Ridge is given sole custody of his son RJ, and to spare the children being separated of Hope. Two side remain bitterly opposed.

After the duet duel draw, Rick treats Phoebe to a romantic dinner, but she decides he shows too little confidence is her chosen future. After the ruling against Brooke, Nick is most supportive and bitter against Taylor. Brooke gets a first visit with the children from Ridge and blames Stefanie.

Stefanie may be happy Brooke is leaving the firm, Eric and the kids worry about buying her out, PR cost and possible expert competition. Nick and Taylor agree to meet. After his intimacy with Brooke, Nick is reluctant to take her back as designer, but still accepts.

Thorne seems to be over Darla, so Stefanie plans a family party, but he's still discretely on pills. Ridhe enjoys being with Ashley and the kids. He also has a present for her. Brooke convinces Nick to let her try designing now she can't be with her children. Taylor has doubts about them collaborating closely, but gives in, promised that will free Nick to be with her and the baby.

Eric and Stefanie enjoy baby-sitting the grandchildren plus Ashley's daughter. Stefanie even wants to make that more permanent for Ridge's and has Brooke thrown out when she comes to kiss the kids goodnight. Thorne parties with models, but they, alcohol nor pills help forget Darla, so he bitches when bumping into Taylor and Nick. Ridge and Ashley agree earrings still are a better gift then a ring, then make love. Rick is surprise his ma joined the competition but refuses to follow and questions her working so closely with ex Nick.

Now Ashley has chosen to be with Ridge, she and Rick wrestle whether to tell Phoebe about their affair, but she has already guessed. Thorne abuses alcohol and pills at Biki beach, even verbally attacks Taylor, Darla's killer, and Nick. Stefanie enjoys showing Hope the door just like Brooke.

Rick tells Phoebe the whole truth, from his passionate Paris affair with Ashley to his Mexican infidelity. Disgusted, she seeks comfort in Ridges's arms, so he learns about his present lover. Taylor tells Stefanie her concern about Thorne's mental state, while he meets Donna at Bikini Beach, who brings him home drunk, there plans to abuse him for Logan revenge on Stefanie.

Thorne wakes up naked in bed with a killer headache and, worse, seducer Donna, who acts used. Ridge is shocked that Rick and Ashley kept their affair hidden from him. Phoebe refuses to talk to Rick, but can't forget about him even in Constantine's studio. Stefanie watches Brooke's visitation like a hawk.

Rick is nearly refused access by the family and Taylor. His attempts to win Phoebe back revive good memories, but she concludes he isn her first, but not true love, and seeks comfort in dad's arms. Ridge isn't persuaded by any of Ashley's excuses.

Rick feels as guilty as miserably now his Ashley affair made Phoebe dump him, but tries again to win her back. Stefanie is not impressed by Hope's threats Brooke will get her children back, Ridge loose his family happiness. Jacqui guesses Thorne is only being seduced for revenge.

Rick and Constantine rival by all means, including bare-chested Forester models, for the duel contest and for Phoebe herself. Ashley despairs whether she can hang on to Ridge, even with Stephanie's support, but as usual ma makes him sit up and reconsider.

Donna continues seducing Thorne, now sober, again straight into bed, playing into his frustration about being ignored by his family. Stefanie brings the kids to the pool, using Ashley's daughter Hope to bind her and Ridge, who ends up declaring his love and making love again.

Stefanie and Phoebe are guests in Rich Ginger's national TV talk show. They confirm the stories about the duets, the two Forrester firms and Stefanie's dim views on Brooke as person, relative, tasteless professional and questionable mother. Donna believes revenge for the Logan girls is at hand now lover Thorne is in love enough to stand up for her against Stefanie.

Thorne can't get enough of making love to Donna and seems distancing himself from his family. Jacqueline questions if a marriage for revenge on Stefanie can make her happy. Ridge ignores Stefanie's plea to give his children stability by rationing Brooke to the minimum. Nick is sweet to Taylor and worried about the bad TV publicity. Stefanie stumbles onto lawyer Andy Johnson, who assures her he didn't have an affair with Brooke.

During a gynecological consult, Bridget can barely prevent Carl from talking Nick and Taylor into a test that might reveal if Brooke is the eggs donor. Stefanie convinces lawyer Andy Johnson to court Brooke, who shortly after receives a mechanical love-bird from an 'anonymous admirer'.

In Las Vegas, Donna happily accepts Thorne's wedding proposal, still without actual love. After more hot fun in bed, he orders a jeweler to choose lavish rings. Because of Ally, she can't push him to get married soon. Lawyer Andy Johnson openly questions Stefanie's motive to match him with Brooke.

Syephanie convince Eric they should go cheer up Thrne by paying a surprise visit with Ally. The surprise is in them when an enraged Stephanie finds him with lingerie-only Donna, worse when her attempt to expel the 'tart' forces Thorne to announce he just accepted to marry her. Meanwhile Phoebe bitterly counters Ridge's plea against making up with Rick by pointing out he already took Ashley back.

Thorne refuses to believe Stephanie's correct claim that Donna only wants him to revenge Brooke and denies her the right to throw his lover out. Rick and Ashley confer. Phoebe admits to Constantine she's no longer comfortable singing a duet with Rick.

Eric welcomes Jacqueline's engagement gift for Thorne as warmly as Stefanie proves hostile. Thorne overhears his parents bickering over his bride and bitterly tells Stefanie to butt out of his life after never being there in his youth and treating him as second-class child while fussing over favorite Ridge. Donna tries to convince Brooke, who fears another feud with Stefanie will only hurt her custody case, she can find happiness with and for Thorne.

Ridge and Ashley still wonder if his kids belong most with him or Brooke. Stephanie convinces Taylor Ridge should get permanent custody, but not to help get it. Brooke convinces SocialServices to reconsider custody, but Stepahnie suggests checking up how she 'celebrates' and makes sure slick lawyer-admirer Andy Johnson is around.

Lawyer Andy Johnson reveals himself to Brooke as her secret admirer over dinner. Although he offers legal help in her custody case, she stays aloof, but he won't be dismissed. Nick and Stefanie bicker over the custody case. Phoebe tells Constantine she can't sing the now insincere duet wit Rick anymore. Rick tricks her to a kiss.

Brooke is startled by Andy's unexpected presence in her house. Despite his advances, she hustles him out of the door. At the Malibu Beach House Rick once again pleads with Phoebe to give him another chance. Felicia shows up at Constantine's loft and they share a kiss. After a phone call with Stephanie an angry Andy remembers a clue that Brooke has a house key hidden under a flower pot.... As Brooke gets ready to go to bed, Andy surprises her in the bedroom. Brooke tries to escape Andy's clutches but he forces himself on Brooke who screams in terror!

Andy cleverly convinces Brooke can't prove he broke in, so his word would carry more weight and she can't afford another dubious affair in the custody context. Suddenly she looses control and stabs him badly. Eric fails to convince Stefanie to give up manipulating for sole custody. Nick tries to appease Taylor's sense of guilt.

Brooke is haunted by memories of the attack from the night before and installs a new security system in her house. Then, Dorothy makes a surprise visit to Brooke and demands that she explain her change in behavior from the night before. Brooke releases her frustration and anger on Dorothy. Jackie wonders if Donna will still marry Thorne if Brooke gets her children back. Donna sees no reason to give up her relationship with Thorne and Jackie warns her of Stephanie. Donna informs both Jackie and Thorne that the hearing has been postponed. Thorne wonders if it has ...

Lawyer Joseph Culkin reports social services delayed the hearing because of unspecified problems with Brooke and waits for Ridge's instructions. Thorne is still happy in bed, so Hope easily convinces him to go demand Ridge renounces custody to Brooke, while she taunts Stefanie by inviting her to help plan their wedding. Meanwhile Brooke is telling Bridget what happened with Andy, except her own violence.

Ridge is finally convinced to file for sole custody, while planning to grant Brooke free access to their kids. Ashley warns Phoebe it would be a huge mistake to keep pushing Rick away until he stops trying. Preparations for the duets duel continue. Nick arrives, is suspicious about the security and presses Bridget and Brooke to tell him what happened, while nobody knows everything yet. Stephanie arrives to taunt 'loose' Brooke.

Almost everybody attends Boldface's Phoebe-duets duel, preceded by John McLaughlin and Elliot Yamin performances. Meanwhile still ignorant Steohanie keeps taunting Brooke at home, culminating in showing Ridge's full permanent custody petition.

Visibly relieved, Phoebe announces Constantine won the duets duel over Rick. Yet she decides to sing Rick's duet too, and kisses him on stage, thus publicly taking him back as the true winner. Brooke bitterly reproaches Rideg his custody petition. Stefanie resists pleases from Eric, Thorn and Donna to embrace their marriage as a Forester-Logan reconciliation.

Rick and Phoebe make love again. Nick looks down on Clark's designs, but can't answer why Brooke contributes nothing to the impeding show. Eric is nervous his fine designs must allow paying off nearly crushing debts. Telling Ridge everything earns Brooke his protective comfort.

Eric is so confident his new collection will restore his financial viability that he calls unimpressed Nick to suggest selling back Forrester Creations. Nick rather asks Storm to prepare litigation against the name Forrester Originals. Stefanie opposes Thorne and Donna's provocative idea to hold their wedding on the family estate, but Eric allows it. Ridge has chased Andy unto the roof, gets him to admit someone tipped him off but is frightened by electricity.

Ridge survives Andy's electrocution-attempts as a sudden pigeon attack makes the fiend fry on his own 'weapon'. Then he tells Bridget and Brooke how a security arrived in time to serve as witness, so he was allowed to return home, where he kisses up with Brooke. Rick tells Ashley how confused he is. Phoebe dumps him again just after the duet triumph. Bride Donna enjoys a surprise visit from kid sister Katie, an instant ally against Stephanie's wedding-opposition.

Ridge tells the delighted kids the're going back to Brooke, cancels his custody claim and delivers them in person. Taylor disagrees with Nick's plan to sue about the Forrester name, but still makes love to him. Brooke also got a visit from kid sister Katie.

Ridge enjoys reuniting his family and promises a stay at Big Bear to celebrate, while rape memories haunt Brooke again. Thorne postpones the wedding a week because Ally feels sick, so Hope keeps his romantic fire going lip-locked. Rick and Ashley discuss Ridge having given up custody and possibly drifting back to Brooke, so Ashley questions Ridge about their own affair, which he quenches by kissing.

Eric overrules Stephanie's wedding obstruction, now Ally's recovery isn't waited for after all. After Stephanie's refusal to be Thorne's witness, Katie accepts happily and dismisses Stepanie's revenge motive speech, until she overhears her admit that to Jacqueline.

Now there is no doubt she can't stop Thorne from marrying Donna, Stephanie grudgingly promises, if not her blessing, support whenever he needs her. Kid-sister Katie gets bride Donna to admit her marrying motive is not pure unadulterated love but tainted with Logan-revenge. Nevertheless the wedding ceremony starts, in elder siblings Ridge and Brooke's absence.

At the last moment, Thorne realizes his lust for Donna can't compare to true love like for Darla, and leaves her at the altar. Stephanie triumphs, Donna swears revenge. Ridge is still comforting Brooke. Rick and Ashley, Nick and Taylor wonder about their own love and responsibilities.

Ridge calls P.I. Ed to investigate Andy's intrusion, and track down his accomplice. A Café Russe waiter hands them Andy's cellphone. Having helped prevent Thorne's marriage to Donna, Katie asks Stephanie to make up with the Logans, in vain. Stephanie calls Ridge to push him home and to Ashley, but he warns her to back off.

Ridge and his detective Ed Berlanti go trough the cellphone numbers, and thus discover Stefanie called Andy. Brooke is angry at Felicia's nagging, but finally spills the beans about her rape. Eric reassures Ashley Ridge is probably not romantically involved with Brooke again.

Ridge argues against his own P.I. that Stefanie can't be Abdy's accomplice. Felicia convinces Brooke that the accomplice must be exposed and eliminated. Ridge tells startled Eric all he knows.

Eric and Bridget worry about Brooke even before they learn the truth. Ridge calls her, warning if she's the accomplice he may never forgive her. Brooke believes it already. Stefanie relies by apologetic letter, she didn't realize how dangerous Andy was, which only enrages Brooke further, swearing revenge.

Bridget finds herself dining with Carl, who got three calls actually from Stephanie. He warns having observed a suspicious meeting between present and retired hospital lab staff and suggests they conspire about the in vitro-eggs. Nick dines there with Taylor, longing for their baby. They ask Bridget as godmother. Eric comforts Brooke and joins the speculations about Stefanie's intentions. Later, in a bar, Donna probes his willingness to punish his wife, perhaps even divorce her.

Ridge is comforting Brooke, trying to remain faithful to Ashley, who rightly fears Brooke will milk her rape-trauma to get him back. Nick arrives at Bridget's while Carl is still there, insisting she must face the likely eggs-switch. She ends up admitting Nick and Taylor's baby may be biologically Brooke's.

Ridge does a good job apologizing for neglecting Ashley, whom Taylor already told about his on-off relationship with Brooke, but can't disclose Brooke's secret yet. Nick insists Bridget must help him find a way to test whose eggs Taylor carries, assuring her they'll raise the baby lovingly either way.

Ashley refuses to accept Ridge can't tell her why Brooke needs his support. Thorne and Donna make up, grateful for mutual moral support and eager to become good friends again. Brooke returns to work and finally tells Nick about the rape. Brooke refuses to tell Ashley and admits to Ridge she wants him back. Eric feels guilty for having passed information to Stephanie.

Rick drives home to Ashley nobody can have Ridge without Brooke in the package, hinting he's a better Forester catch. While she reminisces intimacy there with Ridge in the private sauna, Rick is the one who actually massages her. Ridges buys his 'last ever' engagement ring. Eric invites Donna to the pool, where she skinny-dips, is reassured Stefanie is no longer up for forgiving and seduces him to kissing.

Rich treats Brooke to a surprise-classy dinner. Eric tells Donna they shouldn't have kissed. Felicia arrives, learns what happens but besieges him not to write off her unique ma without further thought, however unforgivable her actions may seem to him now. Ashley rejects Rick's attempt to get together again, calling him unfaithful rather then Ridge. Eric accepts to kiss Donna, now willingly. Brooke accidentally finds the engagement ring and embraces Ridge, just when Ashley walks in. Both candidates assume he chose Brooke.

Ridge explains to baffled Brooke only the dinner was meant for her, the engagement ring is for delighted Ashley. Brooke fails to excuse her serial infidelity, Ashley informs Rick. Eric and Donna become lovers all the way.

Rick remains flirtatious when Ashley tells him she has Ridge back. Ridge consults Taylor, who assures him Nick is out of the picture. Brooke tries to convince Nick she still hasn't lost Ridge for good, next even tells Ashley she'll get him back in the end.

Ridge announces his engagement at Forester Originals HQ. The mood is confident the new collection will triumph over Nick's Forrester Creations. There the mood is down, Clarke's designs can't turn the tide. Jaqueline's idea is that 'secret weapon' Brooke should revive the Bedroomline, as its model and designer, but she hesitates and Nick vetoes the plan or her sake. Eric convinces Donna he really respects and loves her.

Ridge and Ashley start planning their wedding, without even consulting Stephanie. Given Nick's firm's dire position, facing bankruptcy, Brooke decides to star again in Brooke's Bedroom's return. But while Jaqueline introduces the star model, she gets a nightmarish vision of Andy sneering at her 'in your underwear' during the rape, flees to Nick's office and destroys everything that's part of the line. Nick has heard of it, failed to convince Nick, and now finds Brooke, who seeks comfort in his arms.

After Brooke's utterly unprofessional panic desertion from the catwalk, everybody is undeservedly understanding, once news get true even at Forrester Originals HQ, where Rick had confidence and Ashley is still jealous of the attention Brooke gets. However the future of the Brooke's Bedroom line is now in serious doubt, and thus Nick's Forrester Creations.

Ridge finally tells Ashley Brooke's secret. That strengthens their relationship back on kissing terms. Jacqueline insists Brooke should try again to save Forrester Creations, Nick however states the buck stops with him. Eric takes Donna's advice and proposes to Nick, now Stefanie is no longer his partner, to buy the firm back.

Nick agrees to sell Forrester Creations back to Eric - under the condition that Stephanie has no share in it, meaning that Eric should divorce his wife! Back at the Forrester mansion Donna is heartbroken that Eric does not intend to end his marriage just yet. However, Nick is urging for an answer - so what is Eric going to do? Ridge and Ashley discuss their wedding date as Brooke stops by with R.J. before they go on a camping trip up to Big Bear with some friends. One tent short, Brooke decides to stay in the cabin for the night. Alone, she is haunted by another ...

Ridge and Ashley enjoy starting wedding preparations, without Stefanie. A panic call from Brooke makes him rush to the lodge to comfort her after another Andy-nightmare. When RJ asks daddy to stay as he is rather anxious about scary wildlife noises too, Ridge abandons a quick return. Eric makes up his mind and accepts Nick's condition for the Forester Creations sell-back. But only disappointed Donna learns Eric's promise to divorce Stefanie is a ploy, his mind isn't said for or against that.

Rick raises suspicions in Ashley because Ridge went up to Big Bear. At the cabin, Brooke asks Ridge yet again for another chance. He reiterates that their relationship is over and confirms his love for Ashley. Donna is surprised when Nick confronts her for sleeping with Eric. Jackie surprises Eric, toasting champagne in his bath tub - once again naked. As Eric is answering a phone call, Donna slips into the bathroom. Both women are shocked by the other's appearance. A completely embarrassed Jackie is furious when Donna wants to know whether they are still friends. ...

The Foresters enjoy celebrating owning Forrester Creations again in their beloved old HQ. Brooke tells Nick she follows and is welcomed by the whole family. Only Ashley grows even more bitter when she overhears Brooke convince Ridge to drop a date to attend her next therapy. Brooke however is indifferent to scolding and confident Ridge will side with her.

Thorne is furious to catch Donna kissing his dad and scolds both, sympathizing with Stephanie again. Eric however replies he finally lives his own life again. Brooke actually slaps Ashley for hinting she 'abused' her rape. After Brooke brags Ridge's heart belong to her and RJ forever to Ashley, she convinces Ridge it's time to make clear his future is with his bride, not at Brooke's call, so he pulls out of her next therapy session.

Thorne gets Katie's sympathy in resenting his former bride Donna seducing his pa, presumably again for revenge on Stefanie. Ridge clearly tells Brooke she must leave him to his bride, but accepts her album of memento photos of them together.

Ashley finds Brooke's album and calls Ridge accepting it even more unacceptable, a no-go for their wedding. He promises to make clear to Brooke she'll be out of his life, but gets a surprise visit form her while dressing after Ashley leaves, with odd ups and downs. Katie and Donna scold each-other slut and prude. Bridget fails to talk Nick into reconsidering a maternity test because it can't be done without Taylor, who enjoys her baby shower, getting wind of it.

Trying to break up with Brooke, Ridge has ended up kissing her in bed, which only he brushes off as meaningless. Rick and Ridge bicker about fidelity to and who will get Ashley. Thomas arrives, gives Nick's wedding plan his blessing to wed ma Taylor and agrees to surprise her together on the baby shower. There Jacqueline sneers at Donna's arrival a stripper isn't needed and Stephanie will be back. The party gets a shock ending.

It suddenly looks like Taylor's childbirth is going badly, but ultimately she pulls trough, and so does Nick's first, healthy son. Felicia catches Donna kissing Eric and most disrespectfully scolds both, claiming her pa is destined to return to Stefanie as always.

While Thomas and the girls coo and cheer about the baby-boy's apparently healthy birth, Nick is told Bridget and Carl can finally find out in secret if he genetically matches Brooke. Eric and Donna thought the full story would shut up Felicia, but she still defends her mother and even her ultimate return. Alas, the newborn is diagnosed with bubble baby syndrome, a severe genetic immune deficiency. It's found out soon enough for a bone marrow transplant, preferably from a compatible parent, so Nick and the anonymous donor must be tested stat.

After a fashion magazine photo-shoot, Ridge accepts to have champagne with Brooke, who even seduces him to kiss. She's called away to hospital by Bridget. Nick has been diagnosed an unsuitable bone marrow donor for his baby, and Carl proved the presumed egg donor isn't the mother, but Brooke.

In Paris, Ashley is surprised to find 'visiting inspector' Rick in the Forester suit bath. Back home, Ridge refuses to tell Katie his intentions. Nick tells Brooke she's the only logical donor and she accepts to be tested, positive. The bone marrow is successfully administered. Taylor really wants to thank the 'anonymous donor' in person.

Nick managed to prevent Taylor wheeling up to Brooke's hospital bed, but she keeps insisting until he tells her the donor isn't the woman they selected because of a lab mix-up. While Donna and Eric contemplate whether Stephanie is to be forgiven and/or expected back, she's arriving with her ma, Ann, after a stay at her Chicago home.

Nick can't calm Taylor's total tantrum over the donor-mix-up, yet soon succeeds to sooth her in his arms. Stephanie gets a far from warm, yet hot welcome from Eric, yet rejects his claim Ridge is her true love and claims Brooke's episode isn't worth wasting their marriage for, even promises to ask Brooke's forgiveness, overheard by Donna.

Ridge is startled when Brooke explains she's the baby's biological mother, and claims she nor Taylor can just accept that and go on. In hospital, the boy is given the name Jack Hamlilton Marone. Stefanie arrives at Brooke's ti ask clemency, but is met by bitter Donna.

Ridge barely agrees to see his ma, only to clarify Brooke's fragile state and warn against Eric's command to beg her forgiveness. Eric first rebukes Felicia's sassy claim replacing ma with Donna is a bad joke, then finds out Brooke wouldn't appreciate Stefanie's presumably fake apologies. Brooke is comforted by Bridget and a call from Ridge, then still gets the dreaded visit.

Because Thorne worries about his parents's break-up, Katie explains about Brooke's trauma. Stefanie's arrival at first enrages Brooke, but actually leads to a possibly therapeutic full account, arousing apparently sincere sympathy and apologies for years of hostility.

Rick and Ashley's flight back from Paris is delayed. Ridge worries baby Jack bonds Nicka and Brooke forever and considers Brooke's plea to dump Ashley for her. Brooke rudely rejects Stefanie's sympathy and apologies, saying she's still better off then the social leper whom she never wants to see again. Back at Eric's, Stephanie looks down upon the campaign starring Eric Donna designed, discovers their affair and calls Eric an utter fool.

Thorne and Katie get on kissing terms. Ridge tells Brooke that despite his doubts about Nick's baby, getting together again and dumping Ashley when she returns is as inevitable as nature's call, so they get physical. Stefanie is appalled to hear Eric intends to keep his illegal divorce promise to Nick, scolds him and idiot and Donna a traitorous temptress but promises to be their to catch him when it all falls trough.

Ridge's getting back together-sex with Brooke is interrupted when he learns Ashley is back already. Donna and Stefanie hold a scolding match which of them is fit for Eric, can hold on to them and will stay while chasing the other, speculating whether he'll honor the illegal divorce contract clause Nick included. Katie tells Brooke about her and Donna's Forrester lovers.

Brooke basks in her triumph over Ashley while Ridge tries to control his guilt, both tempering themselves. Nick tries to sooth Taylor, who is released unlike baby Jack, after her bitter talk with Bridget, whom she even suspects of a dodgy part in the donor eggs mix-up.

Hearing Sally is selling Spectra Fashion trough their reluctant son Clarke Jr., dad Senior contacts and signs up a 'worthy' buyer: Nick's capital for Jaqueline's boutique chain. Even a welcome back home party can't cheer up Taylor, as baby Jack is still in neonatal. Brooke suspiciously delays signing the hospital's standard waving parental rights form, then presents some on her own to Taylor.

Clark convinces Nick to become new Spectra's silent partner because Jaqueline doesn't just buy the estate but also the 'pirate' legacy, to bleed the Forresters, like Sally and rip-off designer Clark did so masterly. Unsuspecting Ridge is even nostalgic for their competition. He's surprised when Brooke reports Taylor refused to sign the parenthood papers, a sign of bonding - and rivalry complications.

Nick tries to calm and reassure stressed mother Taylor. Now Stefanie is out of the firm, Eric sees eye to eye with Brooke over their present partners, even warmer then with Donna, who remains stuck in vindictiveness. Both sisters rudely demand Stefanie leaves the premises without seeing Eric.

Jackie arrives at Spectra Fashion and prepares for a press conference to announce her new "M" line. Clarke is surprised when a tub is delivered to her office which turns out to be part of Jackie's provocative marketing campaign for the new Spectra which she announces naked from a bubbly stunning Jarrett and the other reporters. As Stephanie tries to apologize to Brooke, Donna asks Nick to help her bring Stephanie to justice - now that he knows that she is responsible for Brooke's rape. Later, Nick consoles Brooke vowing to make Stephanie pay.

Eric, Thorne and sis enjoy planning the next fashion campaign, until the kids oppose Donna's prominent part, even suggesting that's still their ma's place. Nick resents Brooke's refusal to see Stefanie punished, unless she convinces him to be genuinely remorseful. Donna gets reinforcements: dad Steven promises to visit L.A.

Dad Steven isn't reassured by Brooke's story, as Donna keeps stirring with them and Katie, until Brooke tells him her whole plight. When Nick arrives to remind Eric of the Forrester Creations sale back- terms, neither the assurance Stefanie doesn't work there anymore, although she visits family in the building, nor the legal remark no court will uphold a divorce clause is nearly satisfactory. Nick confides in Brooke, telling her that Taylor has problems to connect with baby Jack. While overseeing Katie's employment contract, Storm who still buries a grudge against his father, learns that Stephen is back in town. Storm confronts his sisters for not telling him about the shocking recent events in their lives and offers his support. Eric intends on making peace with the Logan family and to end the decade long animosities between the two families. Brooke and Katie listen as Eric praises their work. Stephanie is shot in the Forrester showroom. Backstage Eric hears a suspicious sound before running into a distracted Katie who's wiping her hands off. Elsewhere in the building, Storm calls the police to file a restraining order against Stephanie. Donna enters the showroom and is stunned to find Stephanie lying on the floor. Then, Eric shows up and sees Donna with blood on her hands... A shocked Eric calls the paramedics and orders a lockdown for the building! While the LAPD just goes trough a long list of possible suspects, the Forresters limit themselves to Logans, and those each exclaim their innocence. Eric sits by Stefanie, who is doing fine after surgery, and prodded by him specifies her gun-wound was inflicted by Donna.

Still at Stephanie's sickbed, Eric can't get her to retract or positively confirm the accusation Donna pulled the trigger. Ridge and Brooke agree the situation causes so much Forrester-Logan tension they better postpone their re-wedding plans, in fact the guilt question may divide even themselves. Back home, Eric happily greats visiting sister-in-law Anne.

Nick patiently calms Brooke's pseudo-maternal worries about Taylor's ability to care fully for baby Jack and collect the final paperwork to legally transfer all parental rights. Pam first sits by Stefanie's bed, bitter about how different their lives were because she always took care of others. Then she gives Donna a scary welcome with her huge guard dog at Eric's, scaring her 'rival' away.

Ridge overhears Bridget trying to stop Brooke going on about Taylor's difficult start in mothering. He agrees and gets Brooke to promise switching her attention to RJ and their own re-wedding. Meanwhile the LAPD and their Forrester suspects keep speculating about motives and suspects. Eric rejects both Donna's and Stefanie's accusations.

Ridge and Brooke feel frolicking in bed overcomes all their friction once again. The LAPD gets permission to search dad Logan's hotel suite, as advised by Storm. He withdraws it just too late after a probable murder gun is found. Eric makes the family respect a truce till Stefanie recovers properly.

Ridge tends more then Eric to believe Stefanie's claim rival Donna was the one who shot her. Clark taunts Nick can only be sure of his ma's innocence if he shot Stephanie. Ridge also asks where Nick was but is denied an alibi-answer. Supported by Storm, Steven keeps proclaiming his innocence, but is processed for formal arrest at the LAPD precinct. The Logan sisters speculate on, completely confused even before the news gets out. To Pam's silent dismay, Eric invites Stefanie to recuperate at the Forrester mansion.

Ridge now question Nick about Jaqueline's sudden disappearance. Brooke tells Katie about 'Taylor's' baby. Ashley admits to Phoebe she still maybe in love with Ridge. After Jake brings his detailed picture of the hand with what seems Steven's ring, Stephanie and Eric go to the Logans, convinced it proves his guilt, and call the LAPD to arrest him stat, for violating his bail terms. The daughters differ in opinion, but Brooke accepts to help his defense. Nick is pleased that Taylor is back, her dad not too sick after all, and seems happily taking charge of baby Jack.

Ridge tells Ashley about Jack's biological mother. Nick enjoys playing 'pirate' with Jack aboard the Marlin and 'accidentally' receiving Brooke, who however tells him she can't cheat on Taylor in secret. Nextshe tries to convince Ridge to consider letting Jack into their impending married life.
