Everyone’s favorite mutant outcasts are back for another adventure. Shunned by the society around them, the members of Doom Patrol are emotionally damaged and subject to the zaniest and strangest adventures of any superhero group. Opening on an unexpected time jump to the future, the Doom Patrol must make their choice; protect themselves or save the world? With no task too strange, and no villain too baffling, the Doom Patrol are set for their oddest encounters yet. The Doom Patrol are Jane, with her many multidimensional personalities; Rita Farr, the new leader of the group who sometimes struggles with a solid form; Negative Man, a bandage-faced radioactive former pilot; Robotman, the brain of NASCAR driver imported into a cyborg body; Cyborg, the cybernetic son of a robotics engineer; and Madame Rogue who arrived by a time machine but forgot her purpose. Now that the group can finally call themselves a team, the Doom Patrol needs a new mission.
In season three, Dorothy’s confrontation with the Candlemaker leads to a devastating loss. The Doom Patrol is at a difficult crossroads and each member struggles to face who they are and who they want to be. And things get a whole lot more complicated when Madame Rouge arrives in a time machine with a very specific mission, if only she could remember it.
In season two, the members of the Doom Patrol now find themselves mini-sized and stranded on Cliff’s toy race car track. Here they begin to deal with their feelings of betrayal by The Chief, while confronting their own personal baggage. And as each member faces the challenge of growing beyond their own past traumatic experiences, they must come together to embrace and protect the newest member of the family: Dorothy Spinner, Niles’ daughter, whose powers remain a mysterious but real threat to bringing on the end of the world.
Set after the events of Titans, the Doom Patrol – consisting of Robotman, Negative Man, Elasti-Woman, and Crazy Jane, and led by Dr. Niles Caulder / The Chief – receive a mission from Cyborg that they cannot ignore and will change their lives.
