Matthew, determined to stop Rosemary being buried next to Tom gets Carl & Jimmy to help him fill in the grave but is taken away by police, He returns later on with a dustbin lorry. Perdy tells Grayson that she wants a divorce.

Tiles fall off the church roof injuring Alan's foot. When the Dingles receive a final demand of over £4000 for Belle's school fees, Eli comes up with a speed fine scam.

Lexi & Chas each discover that the other has broken their pact not to see Ross and that he has been sleeping with them both, a fight ensues and the police are called. The Dingles launch their Speeding Fine scam but are quickly rumbled.

Chas & Lexi get revenge on Ross by making him think they are up for a threesome the leaving him handcuffed to the bed. Shane asks the Dingles about their whereabouts during the Speed Fine Scam. Carrie tells Jimmy that she loves him.

When Jonny's dancercise class proves too demanding for the villagers, Viv decides to hold a charity dance contest. Chas covers the village with naked photos of Ross.

Andy & Jo's wedding day is ruined when Andy's solicitor turns up and tells Andy that he has been called to court immediately for sentencing, Andy gets three years in prison. Jonny tells the members of his health club that he can make them look five years younger in five weeks.

Eli threatens to tell Edna that Lily has been using cannabis unless she agrees to let him grow it in her poly tunnel. Rodney visits Donald in hospital. Carrie reveals to Scarlett that she's considering taking a job in Toronto.

Nick, an old flame of Carrie's, arrives to get her answer to the job offer, but Scarlett tels her that she doesn't want to go now that she and Daz are together. Donald leaves hospital and quickly makes friends in The Woolpack. Jonny tells Val that he thinks she needs her eyes tested.

An angry Val accidentally knocks down Samson. Donald reveals that he knows David and Nicola have been sleeping together. Eli manages to put off prospective buyers at Tug Ghyll.

Viv bribes Shadrach to get Eli out of the way while she changes the locks. Sam is interviewed by a social worker after Samson comes home from hospital. Matthew tells Carl about Katie's surrogate pregnancy.

Lisa & Liz the social worker try to convince Sam that he needs some help looking after Samson. Sam gets angry and throws beans at Liz. Edna is upset to learn from Pearl that Lily has gone back to Australia.

Donna arrests Val for assaulting a police officer after a scuffle in The Woolpack over cigarettes. Andy, worried that Jo will leave him, phones her up and asks her to marry him in prison.

When Ryan turns up and tells Duke about the problems with his mum's new boyfriend, Duke considers returning home. Sam lies that his heating is broken, when in reality the thermostat is turned down to save money.

Duke leaves Emmerdale to go back to the estate with Ryan. Perdy & Grayson attend Katie's first baby scan. When Lisa tries to give Samson a bath, causing Sam to become angry and run out in to the cold night taking his naked son with him, Zak is forced to call social services.

With desperate Marlon's agreement, Ross visits Donna who is thrilled and admits she's missed him. Belle tells Rodney that her class have been invited to a book reading and boldly shows him the flyer. Rodney is incredulous to see a picture of Nicola and David on it along with Roller coaster Rod.

Realizing blood will always be thicker than water for Carl, Donald hands him a cheque for half a million pounds to buy him out of the business. Later, during an argument, Anna watches in horror as Donald clutches his chest and falls to the ground.

Lily is told that she has a cerebral aneurysm and needs brain surgery within 48 hours. Paddy discovers Victoria's catnapping.

Rumours spread that Rodney is dating Lily. Jasmine goes for a job at the MacFarlane's strip club. Bob & Marlon pit their Christmas deserts against each other.

Jasmine is caught listening at a door and sacked from Hellraisers. Eli finds Danielle. Nicola helps the choir find their groove.

Ashley accidentally gives the official from the choir competition concussion. Debbie & Eli try to convince Jasmine that Shane is no good.

Betty & Laurel get a nasty surprise when they find Donald dead. Daz & Victoria come close to kissing.

Matthew & Anna visit Donald in the funeral parlor. Daz & Scarlett reconcile their differences.

Sarah is suspended from playgroup for attacking other children. Andy tries to barge his way in to the farm forcing Daz to hit him.

Chas is shocked when Aaron is arrested for drugs possession. Donna again backs out off telling Marlon their marriage is over. Shane buys Jasmine an expensive suitcase.

Danielle tells the Dingles that Aaron is a gopher for the MacFarlanes and has been missing all weekend, Chas asks Donna to investigate.

The Dingles search for Aaron. The extent of Shane's involvement with the MacFarlanes becomes clear. Jasmine & Debbie fight for their lives.

Debbie & Jasmine clean up the crime scene. The Dingles rescue Aaron from the MacFarlanes. Paddy discovers Ross & Donna's affair.

Eli helps Debbie & Jasmine remove Shane's body from his flat. Paddy tries to talk Donna out of ending it with Marlon.

Eli, Debbie & Jasmine dispose of Shane's body in the lake. Gordon refuses to take Aaron back.

Eli finds Shane's phone and comes up with a plan. Anna plans Donald's funeral service. Gordon accuses Aaron of smashing up his office.

Nicola reluctantly attends Donald's funeral. Rumours spread through the business community that the Kings are in financial trouble causing their creditors to demand payment.

The choir wow the congregation at the Christingle service. Lily collapses and is forced to admit that she needs the surgery.

Lily gets scared and runs away from the hospital. Eric & David try to sabotage the choir by getting Betty drunk. Carl puts Daz & Jake's house up for sale.

Eric's offer to buy the church is accepted. The Kings struggle to stave of bankruptcy. Lily recovers after her operation and reconciles with Edna.

Anna discovers that Donald had bought out Polek and they are dropping the Kings, leaving them facing potential ruin.

Anna & Matthew's wedding day gets off to a bad start when the power is cut off and bailiffs arrive, gets worse when Carl & Matthew have a violent argument, and ends in a tragic road accident.

Anna, Jimmy & Carl argue over who is to blame for Matthew's death. The bailiffs return and repossess Home Farm and all the King's other properties. Belle helps Jamie & Terry deliver TJ's letter to Santa.

Terry receives a postcard from Jean asking to see TJ at Christmas. Scarlett announces that she is going to live in Canada. Daz grows suspicious of Andy.

Lily is discharged from hospital. The Kings remove the last of their possessions. Nicola desperately tries to find somewhere to live. Lee catches Andy sabotaging Jo's washing machine.

Bishop George tells Ashley & Laurel that St Mary's will close on Boxing Day. Donna worries when Shane doesn't return to work. Mick fails to talk Jo out of leaving with Sarah.

Andy & Diane find Mick locked in the stable. Donna & Charlotte search Shane's flat. Carl enlists Chas to help him recover his Mother's jewelery box. Shadrach steals the secret Santa presents from The Woolpack.

Edna accidentally receives Paddy's secret Santa gift to Chas. The Kings vow to rebuild their empire from scratch. The police begin to investigate Shane.

Nicola organizes a sit-in at the church forcing Eric to drop his plans to buy it. The village teens have a party at the frozen Home Farm Lake which ends badly when Vicoria falls through the Ice.

Rodney holds a secret shoot at Home Farm. Nicola & Laurel mend their friendship. Victoria tells Daz that she saw a dead body in the lake.

Jamie & Zak cause trouble for Rodney in the hope of getting more money. To avoid having to see a therapist, Victoria tells Diane that she lied about seeing a body in the lake.Brenda is jealous of Jean when Terry extends his stay in Morocco.

The police recover the dead body from the lake and Donna identifies it as Shane's. Leyla tries to hide that she is living in the factory. Gennie agrees to let her mother accompany her on holiday.

The police begin their investigation in to Shane's murder by questioning Donna & Jasmine. The village sees in the New Year with a toga party in The Woolpack.

Mel and Greg try to flee with baby Arthur. Val and Pollard turn the tables on the devious Rosalind. Jamie has cabbage trouble.

Bob and Viv are charged with conspiracy to defraud. Nicola accidentally injures Paddy and uses it to her advantage. Diane attempts to coax the Dingles back to the Woolpack.

Bob suspects Viv of having an affair. Val is forced to pay the Dingles for her own furniture. Pearl ends up with an unexpected cruise companion.

Louise lies on Viv's behalf. Afraid of losing Carl, Lexi can't bring herself to tell the truth. Zak is forced to pay for Eli's carelessness.
