Julie's problem becomes Nick's problem. The Windsors go camping. Alan is kissed on the cheek by Shirley in front of the whole pub, causing the headline, "Turner gives Shirl a Twirl".

Alan cooks a gourmet stew for the drop in centre. Shirley gives Alan a real kiss. Sarah tells Jack she is pregnant. Frank is considering becoming a silent partner in Jack's new store.

Chris gets drunk in the casino. Alan gives Michael a job as Seth's assistant game keeper. Lynn hassles Kim and Joe at work.

Frank makes a business deal with Kim, then he pays off Chris's loan sharks. Alan, Vic and Shirley pull a prank on Lorraine to find out if she is the printer of all the gossip in town. The sting works, she admits it on the phone.

There is a call from the "reporter" (Shirley) and she tells Lorraine to order dinner. So they do, but when the bill comes, they can't pay it. Everything is revealed. Kathy meets a wine merchant who is taken by her charm.

Jayesh is pestering Rachel to rent her vacant room, but she suspects he has a motive. The Country club opens today and Chris is not pleased with his job there. Annie chooses Amos to walk her down the aisle.

The Windsors move into the Post Office. Kathy, Annie and Sarah have a day out. Jack tells Frank the Sarah is pregnant. Frank meets an old flame and Kim is jealous.

Kathy agrees to go to dinner with Josh while Chris has made her a special dinner for her birthday. Alan takes Shirley shooting. Lynn's son gets a high fever at Nick and Julie's, and an ambulance is called.

Sarah tells Annie she's pregnant, and Annie assumes there will be a wedding. Kathy changes the locks on the bedroom and tells Chris that if he does not like it, he can leave. Amos and Seth have a marrow war.

There are poachers on the game farm. Cathy and Alan compete in wine testing. Seth makes Scott atone for smashing the marrow.

Kim agrees to let Kelly help out at the stables. Scott starts hanging around with Seth. Zoe finds out that an evening of poetry reading is not her cup of tea.

Alan is nominated for landlord of the year. The Windsors take a trip to Emmerdale Farm. Chris asks Lynn for a loan. Jayesh uses charm to insert himself back in Rachel's life.

Sgt. MacArthur is retiring. Archie's day in court. Frank agrees to lend Chris money, with cautions. Scott goes back to the farm and gets shot by poachers, and the police suspect Michael. Frank bumps into Kim.

Jayesh starts messing with Rachel. Chris lords it over Lynn that he got a loan elsewhere. Vic tells Michael to stay away from Scott. Annie arrives at Jacks. After Shirley tells Alan that she was a prostitute, he disappears.

Kathy finds Chris watching their wedding video. Scott punches a boy for making fun of Kelly's accent. Jack and Joe remodel the kitchen. Scott threatens to leave home if the grounding is not lifted.

Scott steals Wayne's bike, then ditches it. Michael finds the bike and tries to find Wayne. PC Mitchell tries to arrest him for stealing it, and Wayne shows up and clears his name. Michael reports him to MacArthur. Alan stalks Shirley.

Annie and Leonard's wedding. Alan returns and tells Carol he's leaving again. Alan reconciles with Shirley. Chris attends the wedding and reminisces about his wedding anniversary next week. Mark worries that Debbie is not healthy.

Joe is moving today and Kim offers to help him. Chris wants more from Kathy. Seth tells Archie he has problems with his prostate. Jude seeks out Zoe and Frank invites her over. Kathy tells Lynn that there is no hope for her and Chris.

Bonfire night at the Sugdens. Seth is hesitant about going to the doctors. Scott gets in trouble at school and gets in trouble at the Sugdens. Vic sends him home and he runs away to London. Zoe bumps into Jude and invites her for lunch.

Chris and Kathy have breakfast together. Michael invites Jayesh to the shoot at home farm. Vic races to London to find Scott. Zoe and Jude enjoy a lunch together.

Scott turns up and Vic tries to talk sense into him and fails, so he tells him he is leaving without him, and the bluff works, Scott agrees to come home. Alan gets gifted with the cartoon from the paper. Kathy moves out.

Seth tells Frank about his prostate problem. Kathy tells Josh that she has no interest in a relationship. Scott has a friend at school who steals from the shop. Elizabeth meets with Elsa. Eric gives false information to the police.

Alan tries to get Carol a job in Skipdale without telling her. Glenn wants to steal Vic's car. Little Alice scalds herself. Debbie is getting frail from training and collapses. Zoe tells Chris that she is a lesbian and he is shocked.

Makes a time to see Alce, Julie argues with Nick over it. Carol hears about a job in Leeds. Glen and Scott steal Vic;s car and crash into a fence and run away. Debbie passes out from hunger, in the Woolpack.

Turner has bad news for Seth.

Alan has to tell Seth he can't afford to pay for his operation, Nick is unhappy about Elsa being back in Alice's life and Michael warns Scott he knows about the joyriding.

Archie is reluctant to cover up for Elsa.

Joe turns down Lynn's offer.

Eric plants the stolen typewriter in Michael's room then tips off PC Mitchem. Glen bullies Scott.

Lynn arranges a secret meeting between Josh and Kathy. The pollution in the rivers is coming from Jack's farm. Archie arranges a play to raise money for Seth's operation. Mitchum questions Michael.

the Environmental inspector arrives at the farm and it is a lot worse than Jack thought. A new family arrives in the village, including a doctor. Sarah collapses in the pub. Elizaberh exposes Eric's plan to frame Michael.

Seth finds Wally dead. Nick gets a letter from Elsa's lawyer. Mitchum talks to Eric. Frank buys a gift for an unnamed woman. Annie calls a family meeting.

Elizabeth throws Eric out right in the middle of the village caroling. Viv won't let her children keep Wally's horse, so Kim agrees to take him. Annie gives Mark Jacob's watch which should have passed to Jack.

An airliner explodes above Beckindale. The Woolpack's Dickensian evening ends abruptly as the windows are blown in, Joe crashes his car as a wall of flames roars down the road, Jack and Sarah look on as fire engulfs the village.

Seth shows off his new horse to Alan, Viv, Kelly and Donna, Josh arranges to meet Kathy in private and Eric is horrified to learn that CID are investigating his case.
