Paul says he could never be duped by manic TV prankster Kurt Kitchen but Kitchen gets the Chuckle Brothers twice, in a fake police line-up and a pretend alien invasion. To get even the brothers pursue him to a health spa to give him the treatment. Things go awry for the brothers but they do end up get ting their own television programme.

Paul and Barry become Police Community Support Officers (PCSO) and hope to impress their chief so that they win the Cadet of the Week trophy. This looks unlikely when Barry locks the chief out of his house and Paul arrests him as a burglar when he climbs in through the window. However, redemption comes when they expose oily rival cadet Oswald Potter as a master thief in disguise - though only one of them can claim the trophy.

After a month working for estate agent Mr. Barker and selling precisely nothing, the Chuckle Brothers make a sale to American pop singer Mandy. Unfortunately it's Mr. Barker's house so they plot to drive Mandy out using the Tasmanian Timber Tick, which eats its way through anything wooden - including a full-sized house.

Barry and Paul are working as drain cleaners but Paul suspects that two men in a van are from a rival firm when they are actually secret agents staking out the house. The agents assume that, because of their odd behaviour,the brothers are working with the suspect but, thanks to Barry, the spy is literally flushed out when he tries to hide in the drain.

Paul and Barry try to sell a Digi-Chuck satellite television system to No Slacking but it barely works, so Paul decides to launch his own system, though every single programme seems to feature Barry - which is hardly surprising since the makeshift 'studio' is in No Slacking's garden shed. Eventually they have lift -off - literally!

Clearing out rubbish the Chuckle Brothers discover a school trophy for the Five Kilometre Fun-Run, which both claim to have won when they were schoolboys, competing against the super-fit Martin Swift. Even as a boy Paul cheated and made inventions which failed to work but when they go to get the trophy cleaned and discover the true winner they are in for a shock.
