The Chuckle Brothers are acting as bodyguards to Petrovich, a Russian ballet dancer who is visiting Britain. Paul mistakes his teas-made for a spy camera and the brothers assume he is an enemy agent and tie him up. When the truth comes out they make it up to him by replacing his ballerinas, who have not turned up.

Paul and Barry get jobs as rural postmen, knocking posts in the ground for farmer Mrs. Blenkinsop, to separate her land from crazed neighbour 'Mad' Mack Midas, who is obsessed with finding gold underground, and who threatens the brothers. A compromise is reached with Mrs. Blenkinsop striking gold and the Chuckle Brothers taking their reward, Daisy the cow.

The Chuckle Brothers are summoned from their fish and chip shop to hang a tapestry at a banquet for the President of Hysteria, but only succeed in antagonising the snooty young head flunkey, as they knock over his staff and create havoc, culminating in the destruction of the banquet table, for which he is stripped of his medals. The brothers can provide a solution however - fish suppers all round.

Paul and Barry are on an outward bound course, the object being to return to the hotel ahead of rival teams, but the competitive and bullying Army duo, the Chief and dim young Harry, aim to intimidate the brothers. Fortunately Barry manages to get back first, have dinner and return for Paul.But it's a photo finish back at the hotel's swimming pool. Who will make the biggest splash?

Paul and Barry are firemen at the Little Wallop on the Head fire station but their biggest task comes when the fire chief's pet Russian Roof rabbit, Ramsbottom, gets stuck on the roof and then crawls into the downpipe. The brothers try sawing the pipe and flushing the rabbit out, before he makes his own escape. The fire chief is not pleased despite the whole exercise curing his bad back.

Barry and Paul are delivering a fire-place in a cardboard box to Dan the Van. The lift is too small to take it but they eventually get it upstairs to the level where Dan's flat is. The key is under the mat. . .the mat belonging to the flat opposite but Paul barges in and makes a hole in the wall to install the fire-place. Barry goes to the hardware shop, whose owner is in for a surprise, and not an especially pleasant one!

Barry and Paul have got jobs working as animal keepers in a safari park but their inevitable stupidity and incompetence is failing to impress their boss No Slacking. In order to curry favour they camp out in the woods, hoping to trap the rumoured elephant poachers but only end up by trapping No Slacking instead. However, he keeps them on - as exhibits.

Stamp shop owners Paul and Barry are entrusted with a rare Mongolian Moon stamp but Barry accidentally sticks it on a letter the Grand Duchess Olga sends her eccentric Uncle Alfonso, an amateur magician, who shows the brothers one of his tricks, but no stamp, because the bin-men have taken it away to the rubbish tip. Will they ever retrieve it?

Paul and Barry are delivering costumes to the Alhambra Theatre late at night, during a storm. The theatre is said to be haunted but the 'ghost' turns out to be the famous tragedian Sir Wensleydale Peach, who fell asleep in his dressing-room. Paul is stage-struck but Sir Wensleydale offers Barry a part in his play over a nice shepherd's pie.

Paul and Barry work for Mr Bolter's used car lot; the brothers search for the Eighth Wonder of the World; Paul and Professor Voncrumble chase Barry who is sleepwalking.

The Chuckle Brothers are in Cairo, searching for the Secret Scroll which will reveal the Eighth Wonder of the World, but cafe owner Fred steals their treasure map and they pursue him to a pyramid, where they encounter snakes, secret passages and a giant boulder - as well as Doris the Camel - before the Eighth Wonder is finally revealed.

Noted psychiatrist Professor Voncrumble comes to ChuckleCom, Paul's electrical equipment shop and helps him to chase after Barry, who is sleep-walking, the pair of them carting him around town and saving him from being cut in half by a circular saw. Fortunately, the professor can account for the sleep-walking. It was caused by eating a kipper sandwich before Barry went to bed.

Lumberjacks Paul and Barry accidentally fell a tree onto No Slacking's tent whilst he is camping in the forest, so they invite him to stay at their cabin, where he tells them that he is searching for the mythical Big Foot. Barry is very scared, especially when first Paul and then No Slacking dress up in a Big Foot costume to freak him out. They admit it was all a prank, but then they see a really big foot!

Paul and Barry are sent on a day's trial to work at Dan's retirement home, where, based in the cellar, they are kept busy by the demands of the residents through the speaking tubes and manage to avoid catastrophe following a flood. They are expecting Dan, but he never turns up and ultimately Barry comes to see why.

Paul and Barry travel to Scotland, France - where they are pursued by a Clouseau type cop, Italy, Mexico - where they get thrown in jail - Borneo, Australia and the North Pole to bring the many members of the far-flung Chuckle clan back to Rotherham to celebrate Cousin Lottie's christening party for her new-born twins.
