The Chuckle Brothers have a spanking new hand cart - just the thing they will need to hand out leaflets on behalf of Dan the Van's building firm. Unfortunately the flyers have to be delivered to a block of high rise flats - high being the operative word - and matters are not helped as the brothers incur the wrath of a man trying to deliver a cake to the flats.

Paul and Barry take on yet another job - this time as keepers in the local park. They pick up litter and flatten mole-hills, as well as inadvertently flattening - and mowing flowers. They even have time to stop for a game of tennis. Everything seems to be going well - rather too well, in fact. Can they make it through to closing time without causing calamity?
Dec 16, 1989
Whilst the brothers are house-sitting at Uncle Henry's mansion, a golden globe from a statue of Atlas rolls out of the house, through the woods, into a lake - from which Paul retrieves it - and ends up in a trifle at a bowling club. The brothers take it home but Uncle Henry has left them an unwelcome surprise.
Dec 23, 1989
It's Hallowe'en and Paul does his best to make his brother's spikey hair stand on end by telling him spooky tales. However, when it's time for bed and the lights are switched off the boot is on the other foot as Paul begins to imagine that the ghosties and ghoulies are after him.
Dec 30, 1989
The brothers have a job mopping the decks on a ship but lazy Paul takes it easy leaving Barry to do most of the work. When he gets hit in the face by a jet of water Paul assumes the ship is sinking and gets into the lifeboat but it is only from a hose-pipe as Barry points out that the tide has gone out.

The proud owners of their very own buckets and ladders Barry and Paul go into business as window-cleaners. Their first customer is an extremely sour-faced woman who is understandably critical of their methods and who inevitably ends up getting wet whilst the brothers finish their round by putting their ladder through a car window.
Jan 13, 1990
The Chuckle Brothers are the sole employees at a supermarket where Barry's zealous efforts to clean and polish the floor are as disastrous as his stint at the check-out when the till roll gets out of control. And it was certainly a mistake to let either of them near a carefully stacked pile of cans of baked beans.
Jan 20, 1990
Paul and Barry make their entry into the highly competitive cut and thrust world of advertising, as they attempt to stick their bill posters around Rotherham. It certainly becomes competitive when they find that they are vying with another bill poster for the prime spots. And not just competitive, but rather messy as well.
Jan 27, 1990
The Chuckle Brothers are removal men - the sort who, when a wardrobe falls off the back of their van - wheel it along the street to their destination rather than put it back on the van. Here it is hit by a dumper truck and wrecked but the brothers rebuild it, only to find they have delivered it to the wrong house.
Feb 03, 1990
The Chuckle Brothers have gone into the car cleaning business which inevitably means much soaking of each other with a hose, as well as their lady client getting a bucket on her head. The car is her pride and joy, so the Chuckle Brothers decide to clean it piece by piece to give it that extra care but only succeed in having it fall to bits when she opens the door.
Feb 10, 1990
The Chuckle Brothers become hotel employees but after Paul has made a bed with Barry still in it the manager splits them up with Barry becoming a lifeguard, who - since he cannot swim - is useless when the manager falls in the pool. When the evening's cabaret act fails to show up the brothers take to the stage with the manager and their accident-prone routine goes down well with the guests.
Feb 17, 1990
Paul and Barry are working for Dan the Van's friend Maxi the Taxi and are told that they can become permanent drivers if they complete a perfect first day. However, being the Chuickle Brothers, they leave their first fare standing on the pavement whilst they ferry his grandfather clock and assume he is inside it, and end up by driving into a lorry bound for Australia.
Feb 24, 1990
The brothers are competing in a cycle race and inevitably sneaky Paul is cheating and trying to sabotage Barry's efforts so he cannot understand how Barry is always ahead of him. Finally he alters the direction indicator for the race, unaware that it will lead him,and not the trophy-winning Barry, into the river.
