The Chuckle Brothers buy a ramshackle building by the canal, in which they install a state of the art security system, with banks of CCTV screens, as well as putting bars on the windows. Paul gets arrested as a burglar whilst testing it out and, although he is released when Barry vouches for him, they find they have locked themselves out of the building since they left the key inside.

The Chuckle Brothers are theatrical entrepreneurs, about to stage a gala performance starring the opera singer Kerry Tikanotherone. When she is late in arriving the brothers mistake the cleaner for her and when she does turn up she gets locked out of the theatre. Still, the show must go on, and it does, though not exactly as planned. However, the audience believe the mishaps to be part of the act and throw bouquets on stage.

The Chuckle Brothers are running a pizza delivery service and have an order to take a pizza to Mr. Phillips. However, when they arrive at his house he is in his private swimming pool and every effort that Barry and Paul make to attract his attention to their whereabouts is prevented by a lifeguard with a series of notices. Needless to say, the brothers end up making a splash as usual.

The Chuckle Brothers open a travel agency and their first assignment is to take Mrs. McCallister in a horse and carriage to Lord Cranberry's stately home. However they keep getting lost and have to improvise by passing off a very small house as the ancestral pile, with the aid of props, Paul impersonating His Lordship and Barry as his staff. Mrs. McCallister is completely taken in and loves it so much she wants to go back there the next week.

The vicar has asked the Chuckle Brothers to cast a new bell for the church tower and they duly oblige. Actually the bells that they make are, for them, extremely good but they manage to keep losing or breaking each successive one on the way to the church. Finally the perfect bell is delivered and put in place. How will it sound?

Party planners Barry and Paul Chuckle are asked by Mrs. Hargreaves to organize a surprise party for Mr. Hargreaves but it must be kept a secret from him. Unfortunately, when the brothers arrive at the house, only Mr. Hargreaves is in, so they have to pretend that they are decorators. All goes very well indeed until Barry sees a photo which leads the siblings to believe that they have come to the wrong house.

The Chuckle Brothers don white coats to impress at an interview as hot dog salesmen. On the way No Slacking mistakes them for barbers and gets a dreadful hair-cut. They also wreak havoc when mistaken for ice-cream vendors,shop assistants, cricket umpires and washing powder demonstrators. At last they arrive for the interview, only to find that their prospective employer is. . . No Slacking!

Mr. and Mrs. Stone are unwise enough to employ the services of the Chuckle Brothers Concrete Company to fill in the pot-holes in their drive. Mr. Stone is a keen gardener with an enormous prize marrow and leaves instructions that the garden be left untouched. Sadly the brothers trample the garden totally and burst a water-pipe, though they do leave the marrow alone - but for how long?

The Chuckle Brothers are running a newspaper but they only have one reader, Mrs. McCallister, and one story, Mrs. McCallister's odd-shaped vegetables. In their search for a celebrity to interview they annoy a reclusive professor but run a Spot the Ball contest,which is naturally won by - Mrs. McCallister, so they give her an old painting as a prize. She invites her old friend the reclusive professor to value it and, just as he about to chase the brothers away, he pronounces the painting to be extremely valuable.

The Chuckle Brothers are working at a clock mending shop when Paul discovers that, by wiring clocks together, he and Barry can travel back to the time of the English Civil War, forward to the future and back again to primeval times where they are captured by cannibalistic cavemen. They manage to return to the present in time for No Slacking to bring in an order which they can predict - and refuse.

Following their horoscope predictions the Chuckle Brothers believe that they will find treasure by fishing in the pond in the local park and recover a cup which they understand to have been part of the cargo of a sunken Spanish galleon. In their repeated efforts to find more of the supposed treasure they annoy an officious park keeper, though he eventually has cause to be grateful to them.

As the only employees of FlyAway airlines the Chuckle Brothers are customs officers, announcers, flight controllers and porters. They are only too pleased to help a sweet old lady with a teddy bear collection and a one-way ticket to Spain, unaware that she is the notorious gold bullion smuggler Granny Grunt, though, following some impromptu aerobatics and a chase around the airport they finally catch her.

Paul's latest get rich quick scheme is to convert the Chuckle brothers' warehouse into a four star hotel. Their first customer is an exceedingly fussy young man and the brothers erroneously believe that he is a hotel inspector so they go out of their way to impress him. Needless to say he ends up getting anything but four star service but he does strike oil - literally!

The Chuckle Brothers win a mobile shop in a raffle and call it the ChuckleMart, stocking it with food bought at a loss from the local supermarket. Their hot cakes do not sell like hot cakes and their first customer strips all the shelves in a trolley dash. They do however end up stealing the supermarket's customers as a result of a bizarre parking accident.

The Chuckle Brothers decide to attempt feats to get them into the Guinness Book of Records, overseen by presenter Roy Castle. The jelly bean eating doesn't count and the World Land Speed Record fails when the car takes off, crashing into the world's tallest ice sculpture and causing a power cut to end the world's longest electronic organ playing. Barry then attempts to swim the English Channel and gets mistaken for the world's first talking sea lion but the brothers get an honorary record - for achieving the most failures.
