The Chuckle Brothers go to fix the fountain in Mrs. Blenkinsop's garden and of course get very wet - and grubby when the statue's head has to be retrieved from the gutter. They decide to put in new drainpipes which they cut to the wrong size but end up with fountains spurting forth water from all over the garden.

The Chuckle Brothers answer an advert and start work at Pete's Cafe. Initially they are their usual, inept selves but when they hear that there is a Royal procession about to be passing by and likely to be coming into the cafe they pull all the stops out in order to please.

The Chuckle Brothers get jobs as hospital porters - solely because the hospital is short-staffed - and dress up in surgeons' masks and gowns to take patients to the theatre. They accidentally set off a canister of laughing gas - which even has the stern hospital administrator laughing, until he wakes up to find that he is on a hospital trolley being prepared for his X-ray.

The Chuckle Brothers' latest venture is Chuckle.Com and they are now working as telephone engineers. They are called out to fix a problem with a phone but their usual ineptitude shines through and their ultimate solution to the problem is to erect an unwanted telegraph pole in the garden.

Having run out of futile business ventures and people to annoy, Paul suggests to Barry that the pair of them should enjoy a relaxing day on the local golf course. However, it is inevitable that, no sooner have they set foot on the course, sibling rivalry should raise its spikey head as Paul aims to beat Barry by fair means or foul.

Paul sets up a market stall, selling alarm clocks, several of which Barry breaks. Barry then sets up a rival stall, selling jokes and novelties, but business is poor - chiefly because they have chosen a day when the market is closed.

The Chuckle Brothers are working as tent testers though mean-spirited Paul has omitted to tell Barry that they are getting paid for it. He also gets Barry to carry all the camping equipment and put up the tents on his own. Unfortunately neither of them have noticed where their tents are pitched,leading to an explosive ending.

The Chuckle Brothers are working at No Slacking's bowling alley. He hopes to enter a side for the Scarborough Cricket Festival and Paul takes Barry to the cricket ground where Barry gets the wrong idea about being a batsman. They practice cricket throwing techniques at the bowling alley and eventually save the day for No Slacking when the two of them take on an opposing cricket team and get them all out.

The Chuckle Brothers are acting as caretakers in Dan the Van's brand new, pristine, state of the art office block. They are only supposed to do menial things but, when the fax comes through to say that the engineer cannot come out to install the Whizzy Print printing machine, the brothers unwisely decide to take on the job themselves.

Self-styled 'inferior designers' the Chuckle Brothers go to lay a carpet at Mrs. Blenkinsop's house in her absence. Having got the carpet through the window it has to go out again to allow removal of the old carpet. Barry gets rolled up in it, furniture is destroyed and a budgie almost escapes before the job is done but, as Paul says, a new carpet can transform a room - though in this case not for the better.

Whilst relaxing at the seaside Paul Chuckle decides that he wants to become an entrepreneur and needs a suitable office but the brothers have very little money. They start off in a Punch and Judy booth but get chased out by the puppet policeman and graduate to building a beach-hut which is - eventually - ideal. Sadly for them though it gets washed out to sea.

The Chuckle Brothers are working for Uncle Henry at his dog kennels, looking after canines whose owners are on holiday. All goes well until they are called upon to give Mrs. Bloggs's dog a bath and it appears to have shrunk as a result. Consequently Paul and Barry go out of their way to fatten it up back to its original size before Mrs. Bloggs returns and finds out.

The Chuckle Brothers find an ancient treasure map, which they hope will lead them to the treasure of Jack Lafitte. They set off on the trail but they are pursued by a man who is supposedly a charity collector but who, in reality, wants the treasure for himself.

Barry and Paul try to sell their pathetic 'inventions' - a boomerang tea-tray, a lawn-mower containing a goat - to a suburban couple, but only succeed in continually dirtying the clean sheets that the wife has hung up to dry and, inevitably, get the boot, along with the drier, which they plan to reinvent as an umbrella.

The Chuckle Brothers have taken over Harry Housey's Bingodrome, which was formerly a cinema. Paul is anxious to restore it to its former glory and to turn it back into a movie palace. However, he has no film of his own to show so he decides to create a new one by joining lots of pieces of old film together - to produce a decidedly erratic end result.
