Mike is on the hunt for a great British rag top with a little bit of fun in the sun. Yes, he is looking for the Triumph Spitfire. While the flying Spitfire ruled the skies over Britain, this car went on to rule the road.

Much like the Mazda MX-5 build, Mike bought the car in the winter to repair and sell in the spring to take advantage of the Spitfire's convertible aspects when he sold it on.

Mike is on the trail of one of the most usable sports cars of the 80s, the iconic Porsche 944. This is a super car that symbolised the booming 1980s British economy.

Acquired through eBay. Converted to track-ready vehicle and brought to Porsche test track. Mike particularly hated the orange colour Edd chose for the racing wheels.

Mike heads off to get seriously acquainted with a rally legend. He is on the hunt for an Audi Quattro, a genuine rally car for the road. This car is a piece of motoring history.

Worn shifter knob was also replaced, but not mentioned in the show.

Mike is on the trail of arguably, one of the best loved cars in motoring history. He is on the lookout for the car of the people, also known as the Volkswagen Beetle. More that 23 million had been built at the end of production in 2003.

Mike is after a car that was controversial when it was new but now it is considered to be an appreciating classic. He is looking for one of motoring's unsung heroes, the Jaguar XJS.

Bought from a dealer that got the car as a trade-in.

The boys take a sharp intake of breath when Mike says that he is on the hunt for one of the most desirable and evocative marks ever. A Ferrari. With it's roaring V8 engine, 255 brake horsepower and Bertone styling, it is a true 70s super car.

Body dents pulled out and holes in the front undercarriage panel patched with fiberglass, exhaust manifold replaced, a full respray, and wheels refurbished. First project to go over £10,000.

This time, Mike is in search of a little car that is loved the world over. It's cute, it's British and it is celebrating 50 years. The mighty mini put the fun into mass motoring. In over 40 years, this car took the planet by storm.

Mike is on the hunt for a British sports car that has got seat of your pants handling and brutal performance. It is also named after a bloke called "Trevor", which means it can only be the TVR S. The shape of the TVR S is unmistakable.

The TVR S Series was announced at the 1986 NEC motor show. Due to a massive positive response the car went into production in less than 12 months. This was Peter Wheeler's first major development since buying the company and the turning point in TVR's fortunes.

The Discovery was introduced into the United Kingdom in 1989. The company code-named the vehicle "Project Jay". This was the only Discovery generation with a four-cylinder petrol engine.

The Discovery is one of the great British unsung heroes. A rugged offroad workhorse and a practical 7 seat family transport. It has been a huge success since it's launch in 1989.

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3-Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M. The E36 M3 debuted in February 1992 and was in the dealer's showrooms in November that year; it was the first M3 powered by a straight-6 engine.

Replaced gearbox, interior and alarm unit, refurbished alloy wheels. Sold at asking price.
