Linda throws herself into arranging Walford's jubilee celebration. Stacey is secretly suffering with her injuries and Denise tells her staff that she is going to have to sell the salon.

Linda offers to buy into Denise's salon, Sharon returns to bombshell from Jada and Stacey is devastated when Jean readmits herself into the mental health clinic.

Linda discovers where Janine got the £50,000 from, Suki gets some unwelcome news and a surprise visitor and Sharon and Zack call Jada's bluff.

As the residents of Albert Square celebrate the Platinum Jubilee, Mick's guests-of-honour leave everyone speechless.

Janine and Linda's feud reaches its climax with horrific consequences. Ben turns to alcohol after being diagnosed with chlamydia and Suki uncovers Ash's big secret.

Janine thinks Linda is dead and stages the car crash before fleeing the scene. It's not long before the news of the accident reaches Albert Square. Meanwhile, Ben is uncomfortable with a new mechanic at the Arches.

Kathy finally learns the truth about Ben's night with Lewis, Linda is rushed into surgery and Rainie tells Vi about Stuart's problems with baby Roland.

Kathy draws on her own personal experience to try and comfort Ben. Meanwhile, the Carters are told that Linda may never be the same again and Howie has an accident.

Stuart attempts to bond with baby Roland, Jay accidentally talks Ben out of going to the police and Scarlett begins to get suspicious of Janine.

In true Mitchell style, Ben prepares to take the law into his own hands with Lewis. Elsewhere, Sam gets a shock at the club when she meets the new manager and Dana struggles at the restaurant.

Linda wakes up from her coma and disgusts her family with her actions. Meanwhile, Sam goes to visit Phil after a brick is thrown through Kat's office window and Dana tries to kiss Peter.

Nancy tells Linda that she has made the decision to walk away after lashing out at her loved ones. Zack finds comfort with another woman and Kheerat is shocked by his uncle.

Zack feels riddled with guilt after his night with Sam and he helps Kathy arrange a tribute to Tina which throws up a surprise. Meanwhile, Howie tries to hide from Kim and Chelsea is worried about being separated from baby Jordan.

Zack tries desperately to salvage his relationship with Nancy, Chelsea vows to put her baby boy first from now on and Stuart continues to struggle with Baby Roland.

Stuart finally flips and gives Baby Roland back to the Taylors, devastating Rainie. Meanwhile, Linda comes home from hospital and disappoints Nancy again and Kat is shaken by a threatening phone call.

Stuart's meltdown ends with him in the back of a police car and Nancy finds herself in the back of a black cab as she leaves Albert Square behind her. Meanwhile, Kat's drivers have been attacked and had their taxis stolen.

It's opening night at Peggy's, but Shirley with a baseball bat and two thugs with guns insure that the evening will not go to plan. Elsewhere, Kim goes down a storm at Lily's birthday party after Howie gets heckled.

The robbery at Peggy's ends up with someone being shot as Kat realises that Sharon has been visiting Phil behind her back. Meanwhile, Rainie reaches a heartbreaking decision.

Kat goes to confront Phil and lays down the law. Stacey accidentally overhears a Panesar family secret and Rainie prepares to leave Walford with Baby Roland, but will Stuart really be able to let them go?

Eve doesn't get the reaction she was expecting when she kisses Suki, Shirley discovers Sam's secret and Ben returns from holiday and struggles to keep it together around his daughter.

Mitch's estranged brother Avery makes quite a first impression with the market traders. Phil makes a nasty enemy in prison and Stacey has had enough of sneaking around with Kheerat.

Phil receives a sinister and worrying message as Kat's patience finally runs out. Meanwhile, Linda learns whether or not she will be able to keep Annie and Avery makes Mitch an offer.

Time is running out for Phil. Back on Albert Square, Avery collapsing during a row with Mitch and Sharon struggles as the time creeps ever nearer to six o'clock.

News of Phil's death reaches Albert Square as Sharon, Kat and Sam host Peggy's opening night. Meanwhile, Avery's two sons arrive at the hospital and make a shocking revelation about their father's health.

Phil is alive and out of prison, but can he patch things up with Kat or will Sharon stand in their way?

Phil confronts Jonah in Vic just as Ben is making some progress with Callum. Meanwhile, Tommy reaches out to Alfie and is left disappointed and Sam continues to scheme to take down her brother.

Peter has Ben arrested, much to Kathy's distress. Meanwhile, Mitch patches things up with Avery and Jonah issues Sam a warning.

Peter has some home truths for his family before leaving Albert Square. Meanwhile, Mitch goes with Avery to get his chemotherapy, Kathy provides Ben with an alibi and Sam shares some advice with Zack.

Mitch plans a surprise for terminally-ill Avery who ends up passing away in his brother's arms. Meanwhile, Suki invites Stacey round for dinner and Ben lashes out at Rocky, but Kathy gets caught in the crossfire.

Mitch and Karen are shocked by a letter Avery wrote before his death. Elsewhere, Ben is tempted by an offer of drugs and Howie starts working of at the Prince Albert.

Ben continues to struggle and ends up telling the the Panesars that he killed Jags. Meanwhile, Finlay and Felix cause a stir on the square and Jay prepares for a night out at Peggy's.

Suki, in order to stop Kheerat from killing Ben, confesses that she was to blame for Jags dying. Meanwhile, Phil is ready to disown Ben until Kathy explains the reason for his disturbing behaviour and Jay returns home drunk.

Suki and Eve spend the day together. Elsewhere, Kheerat tells Kathy that he wants Ben to buy him out of the Arches, Ben cottons on to Sam's secret and Tommy finds Ben with a baggie of drugs.

Ash is harassed by a journalist at the opening of the new surgery, luckily Suki and Eve are on hand to protect her. Later, Suki makes her position abundantly clear to Eve.

Rumours about Jay cheating on Honey start to circulate, Ben and Zack come to blows over Gavin's estate and Lily's plan to cheer up her Auntie Kat backfires.

The police show up at Peggy's looking for drugs. Meanwhile, Honey breaks up with Jay and Callum gives his brother, Stuart, a much-needed pep talk. Also, Ash tries to kiss Eve who still has Suki on her mind.

Ben struggles to be a father and ends up taking more recreational drugs which leads to him collapsing. Meanwhile, the Panesars walk out on Suki and Kim thinks Howie is going to propose.

Arthur admits to his Mom that he is concerned about his Nanny Jean returning home following her bipolar episode. Stacey tries to reassure him that his Nan loves him and she is better now. Will this put the youngster's mind at ease?

Phil is shocked to his core to discover who Keeble wants him to inform on, and in a flashback to 1979, the Mitchells are hit hard by a Britain in economic turmoil. Staying in 1979, Peggy has her hands full keeping a busy household running, while her marriage to Eric is showing its cracks. Upon learning that Phil has a job at a garage, Eric decides to take Phil and Grant out on a job to give them some work experience.

Freddie Slater arrives in the Square.

It transpires that Freddie believes Billy is his Father. He is unaware that he is the offspring of a rapist. Will anyone break the news to him?
