Ian comes face to face with Cindy's new partner Nick. How will their first meeting go?

Grant prompts Peggy to give Tiffany more responsibility at the Queen Vic which gets him back in his wife's good books.

Phil and Annie share an attraction however she says she doesn't want to mix business with pleasure. Is this the real reason? Or is she stringing Phil along? Whatever the real reason Phil is left unimpressed.

Kathy and Alex agree to remain as friends and have no regrets about their one night stand.

Romance is blossoming for Nigel and Julie.

Tiffany and Bianca try to repair their friendship.

Julie tells a disappointed Nigel that she will be moving to Scotland in the near future.

Sanjay is worried when Gita and Sharmilla go missing.

Sanjay has to identify a body but luckily it isn't Gita. He worries next time it could be his Wife.

Several residents of Walford try to get Nigel to use his influence with Julie in the casting process for the play. He stands firm and insists those choices are Julie's alone and he will not interfere.

Pat wins the part of Queen Victoria in the community play making Peggy jealous as she wanted to play the Monarch.

Ruth returns and is angry with Mark because he did not inform her of Jessie visiting her Mother in prison while she was in Scotland.

Mark and Ruth are surprised when Nicole turns up unexpectedly on Jessie's Birthday. The couple grin and bear it as Jessie is delighted to see her Mother.

Dot reveals to an angry Ian that Kathy is having a romantic relationship with Alex.

The rehearsal for the play is turned into a battleground when Peggy and Pat clash leading to Pat quitting the production.

Terry and Irene announce their engagement to their respective children. Tony, Sarah, Simon and Tiffany are all stunned by the announcement.

Grant and Beppe meet for the first time as they confront each other in a tense exchange.

The Di Marco Family move to Walford but are not welcomed by Grant who is still holding a grudge against Beppe.

Sarah takes pity on Lorna and let's her stay at the Hills residence despite Irene's protests.

Dot and Nellie's plans to celebrate Ethel's Birthday don't go to plan when the Birthday Girl doesn't turn up.

Phil confronts Alex over his involvement with Kathy. Kathy arrives just as Phil is about to turn violent and pleads for him to stop.

Huw learns that his Father has passed away. He receives the news during a house party but does not react and continues partying.

Matthew and Mary spend time together and grow closer. Everything is going well until Pauline discovers them alone in Mary's bedroom and throws Matthew out of her house.

Mick and Lola finally get together as she opens up to him about having a child and her raising him as a single parent. Mick isn't scared off by this as Lola suspected he would be.

Terry and Irene continue their spending spree.

Barry moves into Pat and Roy's, much to Pat's annoyance.

Kathy contemplates moving to South Africa to live with her brother, Ted. Will she leave Walford behind?

Tiffany takes more of a dislike to Mary when Bianca fills her in on her past with a married man. She tries to make her keep her distance from Grant.

Ian gets some good news when Ros tracks down the hitman who Cindy paid to kill him. This is a huge boost to Ian's custody battle with Cindy for their children.

Nigel comes face to face with Nick Cotton who has been stalking Dot. He tells him to stop intimidating Dot. Will Nick listen?

Barry is left homeless after an altercation with Pat over him turning down job offers.

The residents of Walford all gather in The Queen Vic for Nigel's Farewell Party before he heads off to Scotland to begin his new life.

Roy is extremely disappointed when he is turned down for a loan meaning he can't expand his business or take Pat away on holiday.

Gita returns to the Square with her daughter Sharmilla and her new baby boy Arjun.

Neelam verbally attacks Gita which prompts Sanjay to come to her defence.

Terry speaks to Neelam about his interest in taking over and running the shop.

Luisa collapses causing concern for her family. Will she recover?

The Norfolk holiday does not end well. Mary ends up in hospital while Tony, Simon and Teresa end up locked up in police cells.

Grant gets violent with Gianni when he keeps making digs about the state of his marriage to Tiffany.

Roy is furious that Frank plans to buy his old business, Manorwood from George. He withholds the money Frank is owed to scupper the deal. Will this be another missed opportunity for Frank?

Terry threatens Louise again which leaves her in an emotional state. Grant tries to comfort her which results in them kissing.

Tiffany initially turns down Beppe's offer of a date until she realises Grant is watching and changes her mind.

George and Rosa are concerned that Gianni and Annie are forming a relationship together when they potentially could be half siblings.

Kim confides in Teresa that Mick is really her brother but it is a secret. Teresa is unsure if the youngster is telling the truth.
