The day of Mick and Linda's wedding arrives. Roxy comes home with Glenda and tells Amy goodbye, planning a move to Portugal. Dean shows up and Shirley takes him outside. As Mick looks on, Dean throws both Shirley and himself into a lake.

Mick has gone missing from the wedding as Linda waits. Dean tries to drown Shirley, but Mick rescues her and knocks him out. Roxy leaves for Portugal to escape Ronnie. Police arrest Dean for attempted rape. Lucas calls Denise from prison.

Charlie visits Stacey and Kat. Shirley and Buster visit prison to tell Dean to leave them alone. Shabnam lands a job at the pharmacy. Alfie agrees to a brain scan. As Stacey decides to confess to Martin, she encounters her brother Kyle.

Kyle's memory of their dad rattles Stacey, but Kat convinces her to give him a chance. Ruth tells Kat she gave birth to twins, not just Zoe, but her mum wanted the boy adopted. Stacey leaves with Arthur on a taxi. Kyle's keeping a secret.

Kat learns Mo kept her son's existence from her. Stacey brings Arthur to a church and becomes paranoid about his safety. After Shabnam learns she can't have another baby, Shirley arranges for Jade to visit. Charlie has severe chest pains.

As Charlie suffers a heart attack, he asks Kat to forgive him for not protecting her from abuse. Stacey tells Dot that Arthur is the son of God. Charlie tells Kat that Kyle can't be Stacey's brother. Kat forgives Charlie and he dies.

Stacey asks Kyle to take her and Arthur away, but her erratic comments lead him to call Martin. Phil and Alfie both admit hiding serious health problems. Kush talks about his son as Shabnam eavesdrops. Stacey climbs to the Queen Vic roof.

Nancy finds Stacey atop the Queen Vic waiting for God. Shabnam confronts Kush about being Arthur's father. Phil tells Shirley he drove the car during the crash. Martin talks Stacey off the roof by saying he's a messenger sent by God.

Stacey descends further into psychotic behavior. Kush's pleas fail to convince Shabnam and she packs her bags. Alfie tells Kat he has a benign brain tumor. Phil tells Sharon that he was driving the car in the crash that hurt Dennis.

Carmel seeks comfort from Kush and they end up sleeping together. Phil tells Sharon he's dying but she doesn't believe him. Shabnam agrees to stay with Kush, but wants Martin to be told who Arthur's father is. A drunken Phil drives off.

Phil wakes up in a bin after a bender. Gavin shows up at Sharon's, asking her and Dennis to go away with him. Phil, looking for Louise, finds out Peggy is back. Peggy tells him she's dying. Phil finds Louise at her school and collapses.

Louise visits the Square to report Phil's in hospital. Kat's sisters don't want her at the funeral. Sonia learns of Stacey's delusional state. Phil accidentally hits Kathy while drunk. Sharon takes Gavin's offer and leaves with Dennis.

Kat skips Charlie's funeral to care for Stacey, whose paranoia stops her from going. Martin keeps Kyle away from Stacey. Kat and Belinda embrace. When Kyle shows up at the Vic, Stacey declares in front of everyone that he's the devil.

Stacey flees the Vic with Arthur and ends up with Shabnam and Kush. Ben rejects Paul and he engages in an alleyway tryst with a stranger. Claudette propositions Patrick. Martin persuades Stacey the only safe place for her is a hospital.

At the hospital, Stacey is diagnosed with postpartum psychosis and not allowed to leave. She's not allowed to keep Arthur either, making her believe Martin betrayed her. Paul tells Ben he loves him and wants him to choose who he wants.

Stacey says little to Martin when he visits the hospital. Ben tells Paul he loves him and will break up with Abi. Ian gets a place in boarding school for Bobby 8 months early. Alfie and Kat leave for Spain. Ryan tells Lily he's her dad.

Martin blocks Ryan's effort to take Lily. Ben prepares to tell Abi he's gay. Whitney asks Nancy to let Ryan stay for one night. Ryan steals £5,000 from the Vic safe, leading to a fight between Whitney and Nancy as Mick and Linda return.

Whitney talks Ryan into meeting and takes Mick along. Ian and Jane take Bobby to boarding school. Mick convinces Ryan to return the cash and turn himself in for Rob's death. Kush watches Arthur for a day. Whitney unexpectedly kisses Mick.

Mick tells Linda that Whitney kissed him. At Honey and Billy's engagement party, Phil suffers a revolting medical emergency. Linda warns Whitney to stay away from Mick. A doctor tells Phil's family he will die without a liver transplant.

Phil learns his drinking bars him from the transplant list. Schoolkids tell Jade her dad's a rapist. Nancy and Tamwar open a pop-up restaurant in the Laundrette, where Denise throws a drink on Claudette. Shabnam tells Kush they're over.

Joel's daughter Hannah blames Ronnie for her parents' deaths. Tamwar leaves the pop-up restaurant unexpectedly and Nancy has an epileptic episode. Shabnam, who is moving to Pakistan, tells Masood that Arthur is Kush's and he punches him.

Nancy feels shame over losing bodily control. Shabnam crushes Jade with the news she's leaving for Pakistan. Nancy and Tamwar break up. Shirley begs Dean to plead guilty. Denise visits Lucas in prison, where he asks her to help Jordan.

For Jade, Shabnam is staying in England. Dean pleads not guilty, disappointing Shirley. This convinces her that Jade belongs with Shabnam. Kush begs, but Shabnam convinces him to say the triple talaq. Shabnam and Jade leave the Square.

Denise moves back to her flat. Abi returns in a neck brace from a ski injury, so Ben delays their breakup. Kush tries to drink away his sorrows, then reacts poorly to Carmel redecorating the nursery. Jay meets a new girl. Jordan shows up.

As Jordan tells Denise to leave him alone, Kim hits him. Buster decides to leave Shirley, but Mick has Lee bring her. Jordan's involved in drugs. Shirley gets Buster to stay by saying she loves him. Jordan is viciously beaten by a gang.

Nancy and Lee seek the same job. Babe makes Kathy think Ben spent the night with Paul. Babe helps Abi ensnare Ben despite his homosexuality. Seeing the dangerous place Jordan lives, Denise brings him home after meeting his young son.

Abi realizes Ben's leaving her. Jay's date with Linzi ends quickly. Denise invites Jordan and J.J. to move in. Lee steals Nancy's new job. Jordan runs into Abi and Ben. With Babe's prodding, Abi falsely announces to Ben she's pregnant.

With Babe's help, Abi fools Ben with a fake pregnancy test. Lucas wants Jordan to visit him in prison. Seeing Phil convinces Ben to raise the baby with Abi. A drunken Kush tries to provoke fistfights, finally succeeding with Martin.

Kush and Martin trade punches. Sonia spoils Tina's mermaid surprise. Gavin wants Kathy to talk Sharon into seeing him again. Les takes Pam to the allotments, where he burns Christine's clothes and they reconcile. Babe watches from afar.

Tina feels neglected by Sonia as she looks after Martin and Kush. Ben goes to the doctor with Abi, who ushers him out of the room and admits the pregnancy is fake. Gavin picks up Dennis after football and secretly buys him a phone.

Martin gets into a car accident with Arthur, but the baby is OK. Sharon finds the phone Gavin gave Dennis. At her hearing, Stacey realizes she's not ready for release. Sharon tells Gavin to get lost. Phil initiates divorce from Sharon.

Martin tries to break Stacey out of care, but she calms him down. Sharon signs the divorce papers. Martin finds a place Stacey can stay with Arthur. Tina's a natural mom. Martin reads the note where Stacey reveals Arthur isn't his son.

Martin brings Arthur to Stacey and confronts her about not being the baby's father. Ben tells Abi he's contracted an STI. Kim and Claudette continue their rivalry. Gavin blackmails Claudette. Martin takes his passport and drives off.

Martin fled to his sister Michelle's home in Florida. CostMart may buy Ian's restaurant, which would devastate the street vendors. Ben's HIV test is negative. Les rejects Claudette's request for a loan. Babe leans on Whitney to tell Lee.

Whitney confesses to Lee that she kissed Mick. Abi looks for a one-night stand to get her pregnant. Lee almost punches Mick. Despite a great day at Beale's, Ian accepts CostMart's offer. Abi runs into Lee and things heat up quickly.

Abi's tryst with Lee didn't get her pregnant. Lee stops Whitney from leaving and reveals he skips his depression meds. Ben tells Abi he has chlamydia. Nancy questions Whitney. After promising to take his meds, Lee proposes to Whitney.

Honey brings Jack and Ronnie together. Abi doesn't tell Lee he may have chlamydia from their tryst. Gavin demands his blackmail payment from Claudette this week. Ronnie stops Jack from leaving with a kiss. Lee's words make Nancy move out.

Jack pledges love to Ronnie but she doesn't reciprocate, so he leaves. When Denise and Jordan visit Lucas, he convinces Jordan to do something for him. Nancy moves out and quits the Vic. Donna wants to have a child. Jack has a fiancée.

A good word from Denise helps Lucas get a prison job. Honey's match-making efforts anger Ronnie. Nancy questions what to do with her life. The car crash with Dennis costs Ian his license for a year. Claudette struggles to pay Gavin.

Mick convinces Nancy to return for Mother's Day. Claudette can't persuade Gavin to give up his blackmail demands. Jordan steals a car and tells Denise that Lucas is escaping. Nancy shoves Lee during an argument and Ollie is injured.

Jordan can't talk Denise into joining Lucas in his escape. Lee and Nancy continue their row after Ollie seems OK, so Mick throws them out. Vincent finds Claudette with an unconscious Gavin. He learns she killed his father and chokes her.

Police are called after Libby sees Denise's note. Claudette tumbles down stairs and hits her head. When Jordan can't escape, he tells police where Lucas is waiting for him. Vincent tells Patrick they must keep secret Claudette's demise.

Vincent wakes to a finished concrete basement floor. Vincent persuades Patrick not to tell police about Claudette's death and burial. Ronnie interrupts Jack's wedding and discovers he's not the groom. Claudette turns up alive at hospital.

Vincent tells Donna that Claudette admitted to killing his father. Ronnie reconciles with Jack. Sharon pays off Gavin to leave forever. Phil tells Ronnie he doesn't want to die. Linda sees Ollie in his crib and cries out in distress.

After Ollie stops breathing and suffers a long seizure, he's rushed to hospital. Vincent tries to keep Patrick quiet. A doctor tells the Carters that Ollie suffered a subdural hematoma from hitting his head and may have brain damage.

Vincent sees a not-dead Claudette at Donna's. When Phil learns his alcoholism counselor is Lorna, an old flame, he leaves. Mick can't face Nancy because he blames her for Ollie's injury. Vincent tells Donna that Claudette killed Fatboy.

Martin returns but is leaving the Square for good. Guilt overwhelms Nancy. When Martin is pressed, he tells everyone Kush fathered Arthur. Ronnie throws out Phil, who asks Shirley to take him in. Instead of going, Martin visits Stacey.

At his 20th birthday, Ben acts warm to Paul and cold to Abi. Stacey's home visit with Martin goes poorly. Denise tells Kush to be a father to Arthur. While Buster's at work, Phil propositions Shirley. Kyle tells Stacey he's transgender.

Kyle explains to Stacey about being transgender. Shirley spurns Phil's advances and kicks him out. He spoils Ben's birthday party. Sharon tries to make a guilt-ridden Nancy not leave for Italy. Stacey proposes to Martin and he accepts.

Janet draws on Phil's face as he's passed out drunk. After bringing Ollie home, Mick seeks advice from Honey and Billy about raising a special-needs child. Martin shares wedding news. Mick tells Nancy he blames her for Ollie's condition.

Phil loses Janet while drinking. Martin can't handle Kush in Arthur's life. Nancy finds Janet but Mick is unmoved. Babe helpfully pushes Abi into a fight between Phil and Ben at the Vic. United in misery, Nancy and Kush end up in bed.

Babe helps Abi make Ben think she had a miscarriage. When Nancy suffers a seizure in Kush's bed, he calls Tamwar. Shamed by Tamwar, Kush decides Arthur should never know him. Ben hovers over a passed-out Phil with a pillow to smother him.

Sharon stops Ben from smothering Phil. Linda learns about Nancy's seizure and tryst with Kush. Surprisingly, Shirley counsels Ben. Phil smashes the Arches with a chain and Deals on Wheels with a digger, not realizing Louise was inside.

After the police let him go, Phil overhears Ronnie say he's just like his father. Linda awakens to the reality that Ollie might be different. Phil dumps out his booze and tells Sharon he'll sober up. Denise learns J.J's mother is alive.

Louise returns from hospital. Phil begins to make amends to loved ones. Buster hates Phil being in Shirley's life. Jordan begs Denise to keep J.J. away from his mom. After Tina spoils Bex's concert, Sonia tells her some home truths.

J.J.'s mother Amelle visits and isn't anything like Jordan said. Louise talks Phil into going to a meeting for alcoholics. Kathy's interested in Buster. Tina helps Sonia see why she doesn't want kids. Denise lets J.J. leave with Amelle.

When Abi becomes angry with Babe, Babe drops off a note for Ben revealing Abi's baby hoax. Jack buys Max's old flat. Carmel moves in with a struggling Kush. Stacey gets the approval to go home. To her amusement, Louise finds the note.

Someone falsely reports Ronnie's death. Jack learns Ronnie killed Carl. Carmel's homeless after her ex-husband sells their home. Louise wants Abi to get Ben to leave Walford. Ronnie gets an "RIP" wreath. The buyer used Danielle's name.

Stacey comes home. At Louise's demand, Abi asks Ben to move to Exeter. Ronnie believes Hannah's denial of harassing her until Jack finds some proof. Ben's support inspires Abi to stand up to Louise. Ronnie's tormentor isn't Hannah.

Abi walks in on Ben and Louise fighting and reaches the wrong conclusion, revealing she faked her pregnancy. Linda confides her fears over Ollie's future to Ronnie. Kush won't speak to Stacey. Ben publicly humiliates Abi. Johnny returns.

Johnny sings "Pretty Flamingo" for Linda, her no-longer-favorite song. An angry Phil is driving Abi off when Jay intervenes. Masood cruelly rejects Carmel's bid to mend fences. Louise tries to kiss Jay. Linda tells Johnny about the rape.

Johnny learns more family secrets about Dean, Lee and Ollie's injury, making him angry at Mick. Jean arrives with suspicion towards Kyle, leading him to reveal to the Slaters he's transgender. Belinda tells Stacey that Kat's evicting her.

Martin learns Ian sold to CostMart, which will devastate the market. Nancy remains adrift in life. Ben's grand romantic gesture charms Paul. The Carters reconcile when they take Ollie swimming. Johnny decides to stay and Nancy to leave.

Jay panics at what almost happened after learning Linzi is 14. Nancy and Tamwar decide to circle the globe. Masood's online date sees him and leaves, despite Carmel talking him up. Seeing Masood's despair, Tamwar says he isn't leaving.

After Carmel convinces Masood to attend Zainab's wedding, he persuades Tamwar to leave with Nancy. When Louise steals wine from the Minute Mart, Denise calls the Old Bill. Masood buys three plane tickets to accompany Tamwar and Nancy.

Mick and Linda help keep Masood from joining Tamwar and Nancy. Denise puts a sign up calling Louse a thief. Andy offers Martin a dodgy job. Louise gets the wrong idea when she sees Jay with Linzi. Tamwar and Nancy leave the Square.

Masood is tempted to gamble. Phil storms out after Ben kisses Paul in the Vic, but Jay convinces him to accept them. Libby tells Denise she's having an abortion. Linzi's mother Thelma publicly accuses Jay of sleeping with her daughter.

Denise drives Libby away. Phil finds out Louise kissed Jay and thinks the worst. Thelma calls the Old Bill on Jay, who is thrown in jail. Pam doesn't want Paul to see Ben. Drink and misery bring Denise and Phil together for a tryst.

Jay pleads guilty, making him a sex offender. Denise supports Libby after her abortion. Linzi's family pummels Jay and Phil kicks him out. Phil doesn't remember the tryst with Denise. Tina embarrasses Sonia at the Pride of Walford awards.

Tina cheats on Sonia with Sophie. Ian wins a Pride of Walford award and tells everyone he's selling to CostMart. Sophie tells Kyle she loves him. The stall vendors plan to boycott Ian. Sonia tells Tina she found a lump during a self-exam.

Sonia schedules a doctor's visit about the lump she found in her breast. Ben breaks up with Paul because of Pam's interference. Masood's online date goes well. Pam makes amends to Ben. When Tina ignores her texts, Sophie visits Sonia.

Sonia throws Tina out for cheating on her until Mick helps them work things out. Ben takes Paul on a romantic dinner date. Bex learns about Sonia's health crisis. Ian suffers the effects of the boycott. Masood's online date robs him.

Stacey sets up a reunion of Kyle and his mother but it ends in tears when she rejects him. Masood tells Carmel he was mugged. Martin lies to Stacey about where his money came from. Sonia decides to get a preventative double mastectomy.

Roxy arrives at Ronnie's roughed up and passes out. Carmel's son Shakil arrives on the Square. Jay goes to work at the Cokers' funeral business, much to Les' disapproval. Ian fires Tina from the café. Andy offers Martin an illegal job.

Pam learns Les is being blackmailed. Buster and other protesters block the entrance to Ian's café. Glenda tries to earn Ronnie's trust. Martin and Andy steal 40 toilets from Jack. A menacing man shows up at Ronnie's looking for Roxy.

Ian tries to reason with the market traders. Kathy and Buster share a kiss. Roxy returns looking for £20,000 to pay off her enemies but won't see Amy. Martin can't sell the stolen toilets. Andy has a folder of news clippings about Ronnie.

Ronnie and Jack decide to move in together as an old face turns up at the door. Mick and Johnny try to stop Buster and Lee from stealing Belinda's Japanese expensive koi carp. Louise flirts with Shakil. Belinda sees Mick up to no good.

Kathy uses Buster's past against him. Belinda saw the koi caper and lures Mick and Linda to her house. Her husband Neville wants Mick to swap wives. Sonia doesn't have cancer. Peggy does and she's told she only has months to live.

Phil resists Peggy's decision to end her cancer treatment. After Neville tries to coerce Mick and Linda into a wife swap, Belinda leaves Neville. Sonia is glum about the prospect of a preventative mastectomy. Belinda has her eye on Mick.

Dot and Peggy reminisce. Phil takes Peggy on a sightseeing tour of London, hoping she'll fight for her life. Sharon, Shirley and Kathy prepare a surprise meal for Peggy. Though Peggy doesn't want Grant to know, Sharon calls him for help.

Phil struggles with Peggy's decision. Peggy forgives Stacey for killing Archie. After talks with Denise and Peggy, Ian decides not to sell to Cost Mart. Belinda approaches Jack about buying the toilets Martin took from him. Grant arrives.

It's a devastating day in Albert Square as matriarch Peggy Mitchell dies after taking pills, but not before she says goodbye to one of the square's most memorable residents of the past and takes a last visit to her beloved Queen Vic.

The residents of Albert Square unite as they learn of Peggy Mitchell's death. A heartbroken Phil shares the news with Ben, Louise and the rest of the family. Stacey hears the news and tells Martin she doesn't want to get married tomorrow.

Stacey and Martin get married after she recalls Peggy's advice. Kyle sees a photo Andy keeps of himself and Danielle. Louise sees Shakil kiss Bex. An angry Bobby lashes out at Jane when she tells him he can't go back to boarding school.

Jane lies unconscious on the floor. A scared Bobby enters the Queen Vic, where he confesses to the attack and to killing Lucy. Recalling his own ordeal, Ben convinces Ian to flee with Bobby to save him from prison, but Mick intercedes.

The residents speculate on Bobby's confession, while Stacey is adamant of Max's innocence. Roxy smuggled drugs in her body. Bobby is questioned by the police about Jane, and as he's about to be released, he reveals to them he killed Lucy.

Bobby incriminates himself more in another interview with DI Keeble. Ian goes back to the hospital where he is told Jane may never walk again. An infuriated Linda and Christian arrive at the hospital. Roxy relieves herself of drugs.

Sharon and Shirley go back to Phil's house to clear up Peggy's belongings. Ian gives Bobby the cold shoulder. Lauren and Peter prepare to return to Albert Square, but Ian is left speechless when she turns up with Steven instead of Peter.

Lauren has come home hoping to bring her family together. Steven tells Ian he's here to help. Kathy stops Gavin from taking Dennis. When Jane awakens, she tells Ian she can't move. Hiding something about Peter, Lauren and Steven kiss.

It's the day of Bobby's hearing: He's been charged with the murder of Lucy and is not granted bail. Lauren tells Abi that Peter and her broke up. Ian discovers Lauren and Steven kissing. Jane tells Ian it's the end of their relationship.

News crosses Walford of Bobby's arrest for Lucy's murder. Abi agrees to help Lauren secure Max's prison release. Donna fails to reconcile Vincent and Claudette. Despondent over Jane's decision, Ian drinks and speeds off in his car.

Roxy tells Ronnie she smuggled drugs. Donna asks Kush to get her pregnant. Masood helps Denise make a change. Ian is arrested on drunk and disorderly charges. When Andy tries to kiss Roxy and she punches him, she explains about Dean.

Denise discovers her salsa teacher is Kim. Andy tells his stricken father he's getting closer to Ronnie. After Babe taunts her about Les, Pam tells Paul they're being blackmailed. Yearning for a baby, Donna asks Vincent to be the dad.

Vincent agrees to Donna's request for a baby and reluctantly tells Kim. Babe's blackmail brings Les to a breaking point. Roxy's date with Andy goes poorly. Carmel doesn't want to turn 50. Claudette encourages Les to be Christine again.

Lauren and Abi send Max a note inviting him to come home upon his prison release. Kim asks Claudette to stop Vincent from fathering Donna's baby, but it backfires. At Louise's advice, Bex gives Shakil the cold shoulder. Max leaves a note.

Lauren breaks up with Steven. Vincent and Donna make their first attempt for a baby. Paul tells Les to accept himself. Shakil calls Bex his girlfriend, to her delight. Steven convinces Jane to not let guilt drive her away from Ian.

Ollie's doctor frustrates Mick and Linda. Ian awaits Bobby's hearing. Mick accompanies Belinda to a divorce discussion with Neville. Sharon helps Ian admit he might not want Bobby released. Mick decides to worry less and enjoy Ollie more.

Bobby receives a three-year sentence for killing Lucy. Sonia makes Martin and Shakil get along for Bex. Sylvie flees care and shows up at the Queen Vic with worsening dementia. Sonia schedules her surgery. Jane squeezes Ian's hand.

For Jane's sake, Ian asks Bobby to accept his sentence without appeal. Martin learns Sonia wants a mastectomy and oophorectomy. When Sylvie scares Linda around Ollie, Tina agrees to take her mother in. Ian gets an ominous note from Max.

Carmel's friends celebrate her 50th. Ronnie, Sharon and Roxy plan Pat's funeral. Jay's job hunt is sabotaged by his legal trouble. Masood misunderstands Denise's advice on going for romance. Dot finds Andy's news clipping about Danielle.

Ronnie confronts Andy over the Danielle news clipping and kicks him out. Jay begs Roxy to let him sell the smuggled drugs, but Amy's bunny found them first. Pam makes a suspicious remark about Babe to Shirley. Andy refuses to leave.

Amy goes missing after possibly ingesting Roxy's drugs, sending Jack and Roxy into a panic. Denise and Kush flirt. Buster tells Kathy he's been with the wrong person. Jay keeps the drugs. Jack tells Roxy he's filing for full custody.

Babe increases the pressure on Pam and Les. Roxy decides to leave Walford to sort out her problems. Carmel's play for Buster fails. Kathy lets Buster know the attraction is mutual. Pam catches Les as Christine and he suffers chest pains.

Billy sees Les in a dress as he's loaded into an ambulance. Ronnie convinces Roxy to stay. Les suffered a heart attack and is expected to recover. Sam arrives for Pat's funeral with Jack's son Ricky. Sam knows Grant and Sharon kissed.

Peggy Mitchell's funeral brings out the Square for the horse-drawn hearse and services. Sharon learns a secret from Sal she shares with Phil: Peggy made the false report to police that sent his father to prison and saved Phil from abuse.

Gavin tricks Kathy into coming with him to a mansion. Margaret shows up and he terrorizes the women. Buster and Sharon arrive as a woman plummets onto their car. Jack bonds with his son Ricky. Linda notices Shirley's feelings for Phil.

After Margaret's death, Sharon offers to support Gavin if he turns himself in, but he refuses. Sam abandons Ricky and leaves Walford, seeing him with Jack as she goes. Police catch Gavin with Sharon's help. Phil sees Kathy kissing Buster.

Billy quits rather than work with Les, telling Pam her husband is a pervert. The Vic honors Peggy by engraving the pub's bell. Les and Pam decide to move, but Paul asks to run Coker and Sons with Ben. A visit by Paul's mother rattles Pam.

Ben and Paul erect a makeshift "Coker and Grandson" sign. Paul thinks Jenny is the blackmailer and screams at her. Janet's school lacks the resources to help her. Secretly smitten with Kathy, Buster doesn't notice Shirley's makeover.

Pam decides to let Paul know his mother and reveal she kept them apart for years. Abi gets her job back at the Vic. Lauren's night out to cheer up Abi backfires. Whitney has a pregnancy test. A drunken Abi tells Lauren she slept with Lee.

Ben kisses Paul in public and they get tattoos of each other's names. Buster sneaks off with Kathy as Shirley doubts his love. Sharon leaves to Florida. Before Lauren tells her about Lee's night with Abi, Whitney learns she's pregnant.

Ben's loved ones rush to the hospital after learning he was in a fight. Kathy misses the news while she's with Buster. Interruptions foil Whitney's efforts to tell Lee she's pregnant, but Linda knows. A doctor tells Phil that Ben died.

Phil tells police the body isn't Ben. Pam and Les are devastated when they learn of Paul's death. Ben shows up in the Square badly hurt and says they were mugged. Whitney tells Lee she's pregnant and Mick and Linda barge in to celebrate.

The residents of the Square mourn Paul's death and give condolences to Les and Pam. Ben tells police it was a random mugging. When the Queen Vic pays tribute to Paul, Pam rages at Ben. He leaves and admits to Johnny it was a hate crime.

Ben agrees to tell police the attack was homophobic. Les is tempted to become Christine to cope with losing Paul. As the Carters find out about the pregnancy, Lee tells Mick he doesn't want to be a dad. Donna puts her baby plans on hold.
