Zadov accidentally finds the family sledgehammer. Striking himself on the forehead with it, Vasily gets a vision: his great-great-great-grandfather - Ivan Krasna Zadnitsa - tells him about the miracles that this sledgehammer is capable of.

After a violent drunkenness, Vasily cannot remember where the money from the common fund, which the battalion commander entrusted to him, disappeared. Vasily begins to remember his actions over the past week, and looks for suspects.

For the first time in Russia, presidential elections are held by means of a money lottery. It becomes known that Pasha will be elected president, after which he suddenly comes under close public scrutiny.

Pasha, Serezha and Lenya are having a bachelor party: tomorrow they will have to part with their bachelor life. But after thinking it over, they realize that they are not quite ready yet. And looking for ways to avoid their own weddings.
