Tanya suddenly realizes that she is in love with Seryoga, and he suddenly proposes to her. But their parents are against the wedding.

Stepan learns that his father is a former super-secret intelligence officer who is visited by his old love, a wealthy Albanian princess. The Smorkovichevs want to take advantage of the situation to get rich.

Zina kicks her husband out of the house. Ensign Zadov takes his place.

Pasha creates a helmet that allows to enter virtual reality. Seryoga puts it on, and Pasha, in order to eliminate the interference, also puts on his dad's cap over it. As a result, Seryoga ends up in the ensign's brain.

Having learned the plot of Nabokov's novel, Vasily begins to notice that his attitude towards Tanya began to go beyond his father's. Tanya mutually responds to the hidden passion of her stepfather.

Pyotr Semyonovich invented the elixir of eternal life. Vasily, having learned about this, immediately, secretly from Pyotr, tries the elixir, despite the fact that it has not been tested. Then Zina accidentally drinks it, and then Lusya.

A representative of the religious sect "Holy Witness Brothers and Eyewitness Fathers" is intruded into the Zadov family, who fools Nina and other residents of the house. Vasily and Pyotr Semyonovich unite to resist the swindler.

Zadov's beloved, Klava, at his own incautious proposal, declares to Vasily's home, and he has to settle her under the guise of a sister-nun. Then her husband, a polar explorer, comes to Klava, and Vasily's patience comes to an end.

Stepan is hit by a rich Japanese man in a car. Frightened, the Japanese pays Stepan for his injuries and, in addition, brings his doctor friend. Also a gangster neighbor comes to Stepan with a request to become his bodyguard.
