A new school year starts at the Piet Academy. Sister Jacobien and brother Jaap befriend a fellow student called Guusje. Because Jaap skips class he is not welcome during dinner and sneaks into the kitchen of Bakpiet.

Jaap found out there may be someone out to poison saint Nicolas. He tries everything in his power to make sure the candy that may have been poisoned is disposed of.

Despite being sick Jaap goes to class to try and protect saint Nicolas. Jacobientje and Guusje break a rule by opening a cabinet that contains all student registrations, for a private issue.

Tony pulls a prank by losing a wire during stunt course. Hoofdpiet pulls Guusje from being student representative because saint Nicolas thinks the task demands too much of her.

Jaap tricks Lachpiet to be able to have a look in his agenda. Jacobientje creates an excuse to leave class in order to follow Lachpiet to his appointment.

Smartpiet creates waterproof communication devices for use on the roofs. Jacobientje and Jaap trick Smartpiet to gain access to the secret library.

By stealing the security key of Smartpiet, Jaap and Jacobientje hope to gain access to the bedroom of Lachpiet of which their effort fails. The following night they find a map of the academy in the hollow part of a tree.

Jaap and Jacobientje find a new comrade in Tony. The three confront saint Nicolas with the map but he does not believe that there are secrets hidden in the castle nor that there is a conspiracy against him.

The addition of Guusje makes the team a total of four. Hoofdpiet announces that the students will be send on a survival camp for a few days.

The Pieten prepare for the boot camp but also have their own plan to make sure saint Nicolas is and stays safe.

Lachpiet is the only teacher to go on boot camp with the students, much to the reluctance of the four friends. When Lachpiet makes dinner for the campers three of the four refuse to eat.

Lachpiet catches the Pieten with the lost compass. Tony acts as if he breaks his ankle to make sure he gets send back to the academy, but fails when he jumps up to save Jacobientje after hearing her scream for help.

Bakpiet replaces Lachpiet when he goes back to the academy for private matters. When Jacobientje gets sick she too has to go back to the academy.

The four students are punished for their actions and have to perform special tasks when they get back to the academy. Smartpiet splits all students in his class in pairs to practice with gadgets for use on the roofs.

The four Pieten argue whether they want to continue with the investigation surrounding a possible plot against saint Nicolas.

Jacobientje searches through the room of Lachpiet and gets caught in the act. JP tries to befriend Guusje but seems to fail in the attempt.

Sinterklaas announces that the Pieten are allowed to take a day off. While the four friends continue their search through the labyrinth, Hoofdpiet goes fishing with JP.

Smartpiet and Swingpiet finish decorating the great hall for the prom. Jacobientje locks JP in his bedroom because she thinks he might mess up their plans.

Guusje, Jaap and Tony try to find their way out of the labyrinth with outer help from Jacobientje. Smartpiet confronts Lachpiet with the disappearance of Hoofdpiet.

JP and Hoofdpiet are freed from the bedroom. Guusje, Jaap and Tony find their way out of the labyrinth. All teachers and students celebrate the end of the school year.
