Greg performs his own take on medical care; Sandy meets her old husband; A patient tries to extend his stay unneeded; New nurse Julie joins the staff.

A patient helps Julie face her fears; Laverne convinces Sandy to date; Gina arranges a reunion between a patient and his brother; the doctors try to help Greg with his bad attitude.

Greg is accused of stealing pills from the hospital.

Gina's father visits and demands Hank marry his daughter.

Sandy encourages one of her patients to become romantically involved with another patient, who happens to be Greg's grandfather. Greg's grandfather dies during a romantic encounter, and Sandy is the target of Greg's scorn.

Sandy has to look after her ex-husband's fiancee; Annie's son keeps getting into trouble at school; Gina sneaks in a dog to comfort a burn victim; Julie cares for a senile patient.

Annie is upset because she wished a supervisor dead, immediately before she died. Meanwhile, the funeral is awkward for Sandy, who slept with the deceased's boyfriend.

Annie saves the life of a white supremacist who has inadvertently charmed some of the staff.

Rose Nylund and Laverne Todd show up at the hospital to help during the hurricane.

Sandy is proposed to by Steve.

Hank's brother Abe visits and takes Gina out on a date, but his intentions are not honourable.

Sandy dates "Jim the crazy guy," a perennial patient who she thinks is a doctor.

Julie's ex-boyfriend Peter Teller (Adam Arkin) is a patient in the hospital who learns he has HIV.

A patient holds the Nurses hostage after being told one too many "No"s by his physician. Also involved in the siege is an injured policeman.

Hank is told he has a tumor which makes him doubt how long he is still able to live.

Sandy receives a visit from her mother.

Paco works for a gangster who can help get Paco's uncle out of Cuba; meanwhile, Gina dates an attractive co-worker who also has a crush on Hank.

After two patients are killed in freak accidents, Annie begins to doubt the existence of God. Meanwhile, a group of crazy Trekkies are admitted to the hospital with food poisoning.

Former child star "Poofie" McGuire comes to the hospital to research a role for an upcoming sitcom, and he proceeds to irritate the entire staff. Meanwhile, Julie tries to locate the brother of a dying man, and Dr. Riskin is pursued by an obnoxious mother whose son is suffering from high blood pressure.

Strangeness abounds during the full moon. Jeff encourages his co-workers to pursue their romantic fantasies; an astronaut arrives with a lump on his head; and Blanche Devereaux ("The Golden Girls") seeks Dr. Riskin's advice about a sexual problem.

Dr Riskin shocks the staff by kissing a man just out of a 38-year coma.

Gina is ready to move forward in her relationship with Hank, but he has to clear up some matters with his ex-wife first.
