The Critic closes out a month of reviewing Christmas movies by reviewing the bizarre yet ever-growing holiday cult classic "Santa Claus: The Movie."

The Critic opens "Star Trek Month" by reviewing the first Star Trek movie, a movie he calls "Star Trek: The Slow-Motion Picture" because the lack of cuts in the film left him bored out of his mind. Guest-starring Angry Joe doing his best Khan impression.

"Star Trek Month" continues as the Critic reviews "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock," the only odd-numbered Trek film that comes close to actually being good.

The Critic reviews "Star Trek V" and wonders why in a movie whose plot involves a mission to find God does director/writer William Shatner include a three-breasted cat lady, a musical number, and a half-naked 50-year-old woman dancing.

The Nostalgia Critic is still mourning the loss of his close friend and colleague, Ma-Ti. As if things weren't bad enough, he soon finds himself under house arrest, thanks to protests from Terl, the psychotic Psychlo; Paw discovers a strange entity emanating from space.

Government agents confiscate Spoony, while the Critic "beams up" his fellow reviewers to his house in order to put their minds together to come up with a solution to right the Critic's wrongs and find Ma-Ti and stop the current threat on the planet. In short (no offense, Mickey), they steal equipment from Dr. Insano and convert the Critic's house into a galactic cruiser.

The Channel Awesome crew blasts off into space aboard the U.S.S. Exit Strategy (Doug's house), bound for Europa. During the trip, the crew amuse themselves with various activities, such as Paw shooting a vlog and C.R. and JesuOtaku start building a contraption envisioned in their similar dream, and Lindsay, Todd and Lupa finally solve their love triangle; Meanwhile, Terl teams up with the jaded General Zod.

Part IV finds our heroes pitted against Terl and General Zod. The Critic rescues Sage, Sad Panda and Spoony from Terl's men, only to engage in a lengthy battle of many weapons and wits. Through a series of beaming snafus, the Cinema Snob gets captured.

The captive Cinema Snob is tempted by the Dark Side to abandon the critics for a chance to create his own movie. Meanwhile, another crew member is assimilated by Mechakara and the Nostalgia Chick and Film Brain goes inside Spoony's head to find out the truth about the Plot Hole and Ma-Ti.

The Snob turns to the "dark side"; Film Brain has a horrifying vision of the power behind all this madness, and Lupa and JewWario thwart Mechakara's attempt to eradicate the entire crew.

Luke Mochrie seeks out the wise and powerful Oancitizen, who trains him in the ways of The Plot; the critics prepare for battle against the Executor's army; the Nostalgia Critic succumbs to his own feeling of self-doubt and heads for The Hole, not knowing that it's a trap!

The crap hits the fan as Luke and Snob engage in a duel of the fates; the Nostalgia Critic has an out-of-universe experience and meets his maker; Linkara arrives to save the day aboard Comicron 1, and The Executor, Terl, Zod and Mechakara are destroyed. But what about the Critic? Will he decide to enter the real world or continue on in a scripted, contrived universe?
