Cath and Erik have an inconsolable neighbor Siebe whose wife has left him. Piet then invites the neighbor to stay until he is over his grief, with all the consequences that entails.

Hella has heard that she might be going blind and Cath and Erik meanwhile try to organize Arnoudje's birthday.

Erik and Cath decide to watch less TV and go on yoga while Piet wants a television in his room.

Cath and Erik decide to invest in a sauna while Piet and his friends try to do something fun together at the insistence of Connie.

Cath and her friends hold a "Third World Evening" while Piet and his friends disrupt it. Fortunately Willemien has a vitamin preparation that gives Piet more energy.

Piet goes shopping with Erik while someone placed a personal ad in the newspaper.

Cath and Erik want to go to Aruba without Piet and so Piet pretends his leg is broken after he was accidentally pushed off the balcony by Cath.

Cath and Erik invite the new upstairs neighbors while Piet and his friends play jokes with a found portable.

Erik has won the golden quill, but Cath is angry because Erik has not publicly thanked her for all her support.

Connie has to pay back five thousand guilders in tax debt and so Piet signs up for the Lenteloop to raise the money.

Piet complains about the dogs in the street while Erik tries to come up with a nice advertising slogan for dog candy.

Piet tries to get the bill from the garage for Cath and Erik to find it while Cath tries to prevent Erik from finding her ex-boyfriend Mark in their hotel room.

Cath and Erik are thinking about moving to Groningen, while Piet receives an offer from his ex-girlfriend Dorothee to move to Valkenburg together.
