Four chefs arrive in Flavortown ready to prove that traditionally unhealthy dishes can be made healthier and even more delicious. To start the New Year off right, Guy Fieri asks them to make a burger and fries without using any of the traditional burger ingredients. Then the chefs are challenged to make healthy lasagna with a weight limit on their ingredients, and they get a strict budget for making a fried chicken dinner. One chef will stick with their resolutions, take down the rest of the competition and win a shopping spree worth up to $20,000.

Guy spins wheels that represent his two worlds in every round, so a spin of the DDD Wheel determines which classic diner dish the competitors have to make while a spin of the GGG Wheel determines which game they have to play while making it. The team left standing after two challenges wins $10,000 and a spot in the finale, where they get a shot at $30,000 plus the dual team trophies.
