After falling through the ceiling, and injured Valerie milks the attention. Jimmi calls in the Rat Catchers to catch the pesky rodent. Mrs Tembe gets annoyed when JJ gets taken in by Rob over a string of robberies.

Al deals with a woman who's still breast feeding her 4 year old child. Ruhma meets her psychiatrist friend Megan, who wants to be introduced to the Mill management. Ayesha starts looking for Karl.

Obnoxious doctor Cridge ropes Ruhma into helping him after he says his email was hacked and his contacts get sent an incriminating photo. It seems someone is trying to ruin his reputation.

Heston helps a family with a seriously disabled father / husband. Ayesha and Rob locate Karl sleeping rough. Jimmi splashes milk all over Megan's feet, but Megan soon impresses Mrs Tembe. Rob bothers JJ after another cash point explosion.

Jimmi helps a hungover swimmer who he finds vomiting in his hotel room. JJ invites a dodgy friend to hide out at Mrs Tembe's only she's not too happy when she finds him naked in her kitchen. Karl still just sleeps all the time.

Mrs Tembe, and then JJ go to the police. Emma treats Rhona at the Mill. Rob finally catches a beaten up Burt and uses him to get to the real bad guys. Ayesha says sorry to Karl for doubting him.

Valerie meets a whole bunch of strangers on her way to work on her new mobility scooter. Megan starts at the Mill and meets Al and Heston. Karl heads back to Germany.

Ayesha thinks something's wrong when Ryan's druggie parents bring him in for his eczema. Sid's not too happy at the new task Mrs Tembe has for him. Ruhma has a new Step Buddy.

Megan sees over anxious Debra, but is worried by her prescription pills so she pays her and daughter Suki a visit. Emma has a go at Mrs Tembe over the vulnerable patient scheme. Sid's still interested in the rapid response course.

Rob investigates after a woman is attacked and bitten. The main culprit thinks he's a dead vampire though. Mrs Tembe and JJ spend an enjoyable evening at Heston and Ruhma's. Megan rebuffs Jimmi's invite to dinner.

A gets tempted to have a head message, but gets his card details stolen. Mrs Tembe tries out her hospital recipes on Icelandic Luke, though soon upsets him. Karen and Ruhma compete with their Step Buddies.

Sid goes out with paramedics who attend some flats where a man has been hit by brick throwing kids. There they find Rob but soon come under attack. Valerie announces to Ayesha that she wants a baby.

In an homage to 'La Traviata' Alfie Germont wants his girl-friend Violet, who has T.B., to give up her escort work and move to Spain with him. However she has her reasons for staying, much to Heston's discomfort, and he must persuade her to act for the best. Mrs Tembe and J.J. successfully convince the grumpy hospital catering manager to accept their ideas - but at a price - and Emma boosts Valerie's confidence regarding the vulnerable patients' scheme.

Ayesha in convinced by a spoiled Ray to visit his old mother after she cuts her hand. JJ admits to Mrs Tembe that he's been made redundant. Al accuses Jimmi of using him as a case study.

Karen suggests that Melissa's mum, who has emphysema, makes a public protest to try and get her daughter, who also has the gene, the drugs help she needs. Valerie goes the extra length to get the sperm she needs.

Sid joins the rapid response unit and the cops when they get called to a gas explosion finding a father and daughter who are seriously injured and a mother who refuses to go out. Megan mentors Jimmi in being a therapist.

Megan sees Caroline, who thinks she's losing her mind, but soon clashes with her social worker, who's a fake. Valerie asks Ayesha to show her where her cervix is. Mrs Tembe and JJ have an awkward lunch with Karen and Rob.

Ruhma sees single mum Charlie and gets an invite to the Red Moms' Club, though they are not what she expects. Rob gets called to a couple's home which has been smashed up. Al's headaches continue. JJ moves in with Mrs Tembe.

Back from holiday, Daniel is disturbed by Valerie's personal questions. Al is perturbed when his brain scan finds nothing wrong. Heston visits a terminally ill woman, whose son and carer has a disturbing question.

Karen visits pregnant Marie only finds her rapist thief boyfriend, and her upset elder daughter Bex. Sid makes a mistake when he attends two girls who've had loads of heavy pallets fall on them. Valerie can't have children.

Ayesha deals with a man who's paranoid that his wedding is going to go horribly wrong. Al has lunch with Daniel and Jimmi. Mrs Tembe gets a shock after giving Zara a urine sample.

Mrs Tembe has to tell JJ that he's given her VD, only forgets that Ruhma and Heston are over, making the evening very difficult. Jimmi, Daniel and Megan all find themselves working late.

Jimmi sees a diabetic who's looking after his cancer ridden wife, but is smoking cannabis. Megan sees a woman with mental issues who self harms. Mrs Tembe and JJ go for their blood tests.

Rob, Sid and the emergency crews attend a serious car accident, one which results in a deadly decapitation. Ruhma deals with a pregnant woman about to meet her online date. Zara has words with a snappy Mrs Tembe.

Heston deals with a case of mistaken identity with a patient. Emma and an overly friendly Zara have lunch at the Icon. Sid and Rob deal with the decapitation aftermath in their own ways.

Rob has flash backs to the decapitation when dealing with a series of drug related chemist raids. He also deals with his new Inspector. Valerie confesses to Daniel.

Ayesha meets an old hot friend, only discovers she's dependent on drugs and alcohol. JJ has a new job so he and Mrs Tembe celebrate by singing karaoke. Sid and Megan start their sessions.

Valerie gets mixed up with her next door neighbours. JJ tells Mrs Tembe that his new job is in Spain, and he wants her to go with him. Zara takes Emma shoe shopping.

Al thinks it odd when young diabetic Donna, and her dad, refuse to have more tests. All is not as it seems. Mrs Tembe doesn't want to move as quickly as JJ does. The Hollins take an emergency placement, addicted baby Marnie.

Mrs Tembe wants a perfect last day with JJ before he leaves for Spain. Ben Everitt asks Daniel to look into his eccentric elderly neighbour Kate. Rob and Karen struggle with baby Marie's withdrawal symptoms.

Zara helps hot locum Abbie who's being blackmailed into sex by a man in black who helped her get rid of her violent ex. Baby Marnie keeps on wailing. Megan gives Sid some homework. Ruhma takes Mrs Tembe to a garage sale.

At a conference, Heston helps two staff members stand up to their bullying boss. Mrs Tembe pops over to help Karen and Rob with Marnie. Jimmi asks Megan out for dinner, but it's a big no.

A weary and flashback haunted Rob takes Marnie to the park, and promptly loses her. Megan deals with Samika and her maudlin boyfriend. Sid tells Emma that he's had thoughts about Megan.

At a kids party, Ayehsa deals with a magician who has a Superhero phobia. Mrs Tembe offers to help Heston find out whether Ruhma is up for marriage. Rob takes Marnie to the Mill.

A devious Rob goes behind Karen's back to try and get rid of baby Marnie. Emma deals with a confused Angela Darwood, who has a terrible secret.

Daniel gets busy when one of his patients thinks he made her pregnant by laying his hands on her stomach. Mrs Tembe's chat with Ruhma gets awkward after Ruhma invites Karen and Megan. Sid tells Megan his feelings.

A smitten Valerie helps patient Trudi follow her boyfriend as they think he may be having an affair. Heston and Ruhma separately try to think of the perfect way to propose to each other.

With the proposal approaching, Zara and Emma try to help Ruhma choose the right outfit. Heston prepares his Bollywood spectacular. Daniel tries to sort out his overdraft with Becky.

Mrs Tembe and a visiting curate deal with wheelchair bound Malcolm after he steals some auction items. Heston and Ruhma try to talk to a sulky Shak. Emma talks to Ayesha about Bren. Sid and Megan's passions rise.

Jimmi helps out when a stoned loser accuses his stepmom of beating him. Ayesha gets talked into seeing Bren, but is very unsure. Megan and Sid try to deal with their having had sex at work.

Megan declares to Sid that she's going to tell her therapist, and that they must stop their sessions. Al's accused of giving the wrong advice to a woman who is having a Downs baby. Shak's still miserable over Ruhma and Heston's plans.

Rob and Jimmi have a case run through with barrister Adewole, only Rob is unsure and messes up. Karen oversteps the bounds when she sees a baby crying and gets a serious reprimand from Mrs Tembe.

New Sergeant Turner and Emma deal with a man who's been drugged with a date rape drug. Sid and Megan's first 'proper' date doesn't go well. Rob's unable to face him and Karen's dinner party with Ruhma and Heston, so bails.

Zara sees a fit patient but soon discovers he's lying about who he is to get prescription drugs. Emma's really nasty when Bren pays her a visit and it causes a rift between her and Ayesha.

Megan sees an OCD sufferer and thinks his condition's got worse since his boyfriend moved in. There is a gastroenteritis outbreak at the Campus surgery. Mrs Tembe tries to help Heston with his wedding decisions. Ayesha moves in with Al.

Mrs Tembe deals with Druid Con Griffin who wants to initiate his son. Sid begs Megan to restart their sessions but she's being very dogmatic. Rob has a bad day's fishing.

Medical student Remy spends the day with Heston though his way with patients isn't the best. Ayesha goes to visit Bren and gets a shock. Sid seizes the moment with Megan, in the surgery.

Daniel has problems with his bathroom fitter Gary. Rob meanwhile is coerced into filming a local cable piece about policing, with Gary's wife, a witness to a robbery.

After being told by Zara that she's dying, Dorothy finds comfort in an aging stranger whom she meets at the Mill. Bren gets over excited at the eviction demo. Mrs Tembe sorts out a wedding dress for Ruhma.

All the girls attend Ruhma's 80s themed hen party. Al helps hot illegal immigrant Amira, a doctor in her own country, after she saves the life of a patient. Rob stays home alone drinking, then has a fit.

Valerie is talked into seeing a dragon ventriloquist act, only he's really bad, and sexist. Ayesha takes Bren for a surprise visit to see Sierra. Rob sorts out a series of burglaries, but Jimmi sees something's wrong with him.

A petulant Shak still refuses to talk as Ruhma and Heston prepare for their wedding. An agitated Bren manages to get herself arrested. Sid spends all day helping a smitten patient who keeps feeling dizzy.

Shak finally turns up at the church. After a police mix up, over zealous Const. Watson sets out to arrest Rhuma only meets a very determined Karen, Mrs Tembe and Valerie. Bren unfortunately dies in police custody.

Ruhma is quizzed by the police following her arrest. Ayesha lashes out at Emma after learning of Bren's death. Rob is interviewed.

Mrs Tembe gets Al to try and find Ayesha, who's been missing all night. Karen can't get through to Rob. Ruhma's back being interviewed by PC Watson.

Daniel deals with an obsessed cyclist with a heart murmur and a secret. Emma is interviewed over Bren's death. Heston and Ruhma finally legalise their marriage.

Karen deals with Eddie after he falls and is taken to hospital, and his daughter who has a thing against his Polish carer. Sid tries to console Ayesha.

Zara gives an old lady bad news about having cancer, and discovers that her husband hasn't spoken to her for over 10 years. Ayesha throws a whip round back in everyone's faces. Valerie walks in on Sid and Megan getting all naked.

Young Kelly North brings her son into see Heston, but it seems she's holding a secret. Sid tries to end it with Megan. Ruhma changes her name again.

Ruhma has a very busy day in the maternity ward. Valerie joins Ayesha at Bren's funeral but isn't allowed in. Sid tells all to Mrs Tembe, but Megan claims it's all in his mind.

Jimmi sees Steve who claims he's been attacked but Jimmi thinks it's his ex-wife. Antagonistic Ayesha returns to work. Megan gets sacked after Sid gets Valerie to talk to Mrs Tembe.

Al has an eventful time at the matinee showing of Theseus and the Minotaur. Mrs Tembe tells the partners about Sid. Rob and Emma meet up and are spotted by Ayesha.

Valerie has her first home VPAS visit. The coroner's report for Bren's death is released saying that she died of a heart attack. Zara and Emma go on a posh pastry making course.

Heston deals with Malcolm Potter after a visit to the Birmingham Library. Emma and Ayesha clash over the treatment of a patient. Ayesha continues to be obnoxious.

Sid deals with elderly Jacqui who's struggling to look after her daughter's active son. Rob gets questioned about leaving baby Marnie in the park. Valerie helps with the poo situation.

It's the day of the inquest into Bren's death with Rob, Emma and Ayesha all giving evidence. Not everybody is happy with the jury's verdict though.

Mrs Tembe's gay baking buddy seems to have impregnated an old girlfriend, but she had an abortion. Al has a go about a patient with tooth ache. Ayesha gets told a lesson.

Heston and Al operate on Raj after he removes one of his teeth with some pliers. Zara's attempt to ride a bike ends in disaster. Jimmi deals with a friend with a blockage in his saliva duct.

Ayesha thinks she has ammunition against Emma when Emma refuses to give Ritalin to a patient. Zara returns to work after her and Daniel's cycling course with her neck in a brace.

On his first day back at the station, Rob deals with a drunken ex druggie recently out of jail, and a series of bag robberies. Sid gives Zara a secret cycling lesson.

Daniel helps Yoshiko who's father is treating himself with and eating only honey to preserve his body after death. Emma helps Valerie give a speech to medical students about her cancer.

Al intervenes when Ruth's deaf mother, who refuses to try and speak, runs off with her baby Ella. Karen discovers from Jane about Rob's lies about her so leaves him.

Mrs Tembe goes to her party for Botswana Day but finds that the Community Hall has been double booked. Al has a go at Ayesha when he discovers she's egged a patient on to complain against Emma.

Al brings Ayesha's vendetta against Emma to Mrs Tembe's attention. Sid deals with a man who's bipolar wife has started sleeping around.

Valerie goes looking for her missing cat Geoffrey. Karen contacts DCI Driver over missing Rob, and discovers a whole load of stuff. Al decides to do something nice, and Mrs Tembe is the recipient.

Al's latest random act of kindness backfires. Rob, hiding in the wood in a dirty hoodie, decides to tell Ayesha everything. Bad move. Heston gets talked into investigating a mole.

Ruhma keeps the peace between two ward bound pregnant single mothers from opposite sides of the track. A disheveled Rob Returns home to an angry Karen, and gets a visit from DCI Driver and Heston.

Al's Kindness Generator has picked Zara, allowing him to offer to babysit Joe when Zara and Daniel get invited to their glamorous neighbours. Adele and Richard assume they are swingers though.

Valerie deals with diabetic pensioner Joyce and her friend Mary. Mrs Tembe puts Sid forward for a Diversity award. Zara and Daniel persuade each other to take up Adele's offer to go Swinging.

Zara and Daniel have the Swingers around, but Daniel's a bit uncomfortable. Emma helps deal with a druggie self-harmer Millie, and her under the weather lawyer. Rob attends a group therapy session where he meets disabled Dave.

Ayesha attends a patient's funeral. Zara and Daniel make the mistake of asking Al about the Swinger State website using their photo. Rob and Karen visit Jane.

Mrs Tembe has an ever frustrating day whilst working from home awaiting a delivery. DCI Driver seeks out a fishing Rob for a chat.

Daniel and a blonde wigged Zara meet in a bar as strangers to spice up their sex life, an evening that ends in disaster when Zara witnesses a stabbing. Jimmi deals with a stabbing at the station.

Sid deals with a woman who's husband has disappeared after sleeping around. Zara visits Reece at St Phils and bumps into his mother and Rob. Al's being nice to OAPs.

Elderly blind man Jacob gives food and shelter to a pregnant Syrian refugee. Then Daniel arrives. Zara gives her statement to the police. Sid talks to Ayesha about his diversity application.

Heston deals with two schoolgirls, one of whom has become ill after taking street drugs, and their arguing mothers. Zara goes to see Reece at St Phils. Mrs Tembe witnesses one of Al's random acts of kindness.

Zara gets more involved with Reece's family, especially after he dies. The partners and patients must talk about their shoes in a filmed session. Heston tells Ruhma that she needs new clothes.

Karen visits Ralphy after Al is concerned and convinces him to go on a date. Emma discovers that Sid is becoming the 'new face of the NHS'. Rob gets all emotional at work.

Emma deals with single parent and HIV sufferer Jamie and his worried in-laws. Valerie delves into online dating. Ruhma talks to Mrs Tembe about her financial independence.

Jimmi deals with a terminally ill woman and her dying wish. After some nasty feedback, Valerie is coaxed into having a date with Pete, but it's Al to the rescue.

Ruhma deals with a new mother with a big secret. Zara tries to help new Insp. Stanton identify Reece's killer. Valerie discovers that Al has put himself on the dating website.

Barry deals with a wayward student and accuses her of stealing books. Mrs Tembe accompanies Sid to a speech he's giving but have to deal with an over the top organizer. Zara receives a sinister drawing.

A stubborn Zara attends Reece's funeral and gets a scare. Al goes on an awkward internet date. Ayesha's friend accuses her hair dresser of making her hair fall out.

Mrs Tembe visits skint Matt Cullen who's hearing voices in his head. Ruhma and Zara see a pregnant schoolgirl whose boyfriend happens to be Austin Lonsdale. There's another stabbing.

Heston, Emma and Valerie tell each other about their greatest fears after a Hallowe'en party, which involves cooking Daniel, a wheelchair bound Emma, an aging Valerie and a red hot devil Zara.

A bored Rob tries to help thief Janice who's getting her daughter to steal. Zara finds a dead bird on her car windscreen. Ruhma gives Shak two grand.

Jimmi solves a mystery of a fainting woman and a lost baby. Al's latest internet date is with Gwen, who turns out to be a lo-cum. Zara continues to help the police ID Reece's killer.

DI Tom gives Zara an idea of the type of hard questioning she might get in court. Ayesha is worried about her injury prone free-running friend. Shak opens up to Heston about his spending.

Mrs Tembe is a bit perturbed by Sid's new poster boy status. Karen visits recently bereaved OAP Ted and his carer Anya. Joe gets pinched from the school field.

Heston and Ruhma deal with Ruhma's work friend Ashley's mother who's acting inappropriately. A hunt is on after Joe's kidnapping. Al and Valerie wind up Sid.

Mrs Tembe has invited the Mill's biggest troll to shadow them for a day. Al's latest date is with a nervous Sarah. Karen books Rob in with Heston and admits he's having problems.

Emma deals with a crash victim who wants her partner to have the snip. Gwen, one of Al's ex dates turns up as the Mill's new lo-cum. DI Stanton tries to coerce Zara into testifying which really angers Daniel.

Zara is devastated after Daniel is stabbed and rushes to the hospital. Ruhma sees a pregnant woman who says that both twin brothers she's had sex with is the father. Heston attends a new men's group with Rob.

Morwenna puts up a Daniel shrine in front of the surgery and Sid discovers why. Rob tries to get an angry Zara to change her mind on testifying. Heston tells Ruhma about his deal with Shak.

Daniel comes round so Zara tries to get back to work. Al looks after a patient's giant snail, but it doesn't go well. Ruhma and Rob decide it's time to talk to their respective partners.

Valerie tries to help asthmatic Tess who has just been evicted. Daniel gets a visit from Ayesha. Karen takes Sid clothes shopping, and Joe's been thrown into the mud at school.

Jimmi gets involved with a theft at the local Buddhist centre. Sid takes part in a local podcast which doesn't go well. After Joe's altercation Zara comes to a decision.

Ayesha's cousin Kayleigh comes to her with a kinky business plan. Rob and Karen attend a fostering panel. Zara speaks to DI Stanton.

Heston sees wheelchair bound Iain who's wants some Viagra. Sid sees a homeless pregnant girl with bruises on her arm. A belligerent Daniel turns up for work.

Emma visits elderly Edna, who's convinced she and her daughter are being terrorised by the ghost of a dead Kenyan girl. Sid is interviewed by a journalist who's only after one story.

Zara attends the funeral of patient Joy Dunn, whose daughter Jodie delivers an unexpectedly hostile eulogy, leading Zara to worry about Jodie's mental state. Al confides in Mrs Tembe whilst the Hollins agree to foster Lily Baker.

Rob investigates a teenager's disappearance. Lily has her doubts about staying with Karen and Rob. Mrs Tembe delivers her unwelcome news to the staff.

Al visits his mother for an early Christmas dinner. Stanton and Rob visit Latoya in prison. Ayesha sees an ex soldier who's been violently harassed by youths but has taken the law into his own hands.

Al and Ayesha consider going on strike. Latoya's getting threatened in jail but has a protector. Austin has a fit when he discovers Lily's staying with a cop, but then Lily gets panicked.

Valerie helps a worried Jo who's just had a one night stand with her ex. Zara gets Lily rushed to St Phil's. A worried Sid upsets Ayesha. Stanton hears about Latoya's stabbing.

Heston sees a student with an amazing memory, but whose parents are splitting up. Daniel's being petulant about being taken into protective custody. Al's worried about his mother's memory loss.

Geoff returns from abroad to find his wife has had a nose job. He also thinks she's having an affair. Al's brought his mother to stay and gets Ayesha to have a sneaky look at her. Sid's thinking of buying a house.

Tori is having a purely carnal affair with a pilot but when he discovers a bleeding mole on her neck he gets her to see Emma. Al tricks his mother into having a memory test. Zara and Daniel get a visit from Rob.

Sammy and Greg invite the Carters to their baby's christening but Sammy is afraid that Greg is keeping things from her. Ruhma discovers why. Al persuades Heston to see Eve whilst Daniel organizes a fun day for his family.

Mrs Tembe tries to help drug addled Mrs Lewsey and her student son. Ayesha and Valerie help Sid film a Vlog. Al tries to help his mum back in her own house.

Heston helps his friends and their daughter Molly, who's about to have a heart transplant. Rob and Austin bond building a cot. Zara makes a decision.

Valerie steps in to save two old school friends, both called Kitty, one successful, one not. Sid has the idea of creating a charity single. Zara talks Daniel into taking Joe to Crete.

Al finds a burglar asleep in his bed. Stanton takes Zara to a new safe house, and opens up to her over some wine. Ayesha catches Ruhma taking way too much kit home.

As a nervous Zara makes her first appearance in court, the Mill is daubed with RIP and Al is intimidated. Sid and Jimmi try to recruit colleagues for the charity record.

At court Zara gets a shocking confession from Austin but can she get him to testify? Emma attends a MS patient's eventful benefits assessment. Ayesha discovers Ruhma's secret.

After Austin's statement, Zara and all are in court for the sentencing. Rob gets involved trying to stop a serial swindler. The charity song rehearsals descend into chaos.

Ruhma continues to treat Besa against Ayesha's better judgment, and now Karen's getting suspicious. Valerie treats a homeless man with nasty sores.

Barry fixes Zara's Christmas lights and stands up to his girlfriend. Ruhma joins Besa at the hospital where the baby is born. The authorities are after them though. Sid unveils the Christmas video at the staff party.

Sid deals with a patient who needs a chest x-ray but would rather go on holiday. Heston has to cover for Ruhma when she goes MIA with Besa.

Al agrees to take the evening surgery for a second night, and ends up helping save Valerie from an aggressive Codeine addict. Karen and Rob say goodbye to Lily and her baby.

Ayesha deals with Sam, who's sister thinks is being preyed upon by his gay teacher. Al uses last night's evening surgery aggro to try and get them cancelled. Valerie speaks to Mrs Tembe about Ruhma.

Zara sees a frustrated estate agent with a temper. Mrs Tembe tries to speak to Ruhma, who dashes off when Besa's situation deteriorates. Heston goes to help her.

Ruhma and Heston lie to Rob about Besa, but he finds out the truth from gobby Karen. Jimmy and Charlie (who has Aspergers), attend a photo competition which all ends badly.

Emma and Rob deal with Shai, who's bloodied and carrying a severed finger in a bag. Ruhma reveals all to Mrs Tembe and is forced into making a deal with Rob.

Besa's interviewed by the Home Office, but not before she dumps her baby on Ruhma's doorstep and gets herself arrested. Heston tries to stop Ruhma from getting any ideas of keeping the baby.

In Liverpool, nursing assistant Will seeks the help of his Uncle, Jimmi, in a case of sexual impropriety. Valerie tries to get the big secret from Ayesha.

Poorly Daniel is ill after a drunken night out, but when Zara starts vomiting as well, it can't be last night's curry. Will tells Jimmi everything. Ayesha tells Valerie all about Besa who's being deported and Ruhma's not happy.

Heston sees a woman who says her daughter died when she was 15, which is not strictly true. Valerie and Karen discover Mrs Tembe's secret buttons and have a role play session. Will visits the surgery.

Ayesha gets asked by an elderly diabetic patient to look at his overly boisterous and rude grandson. Al and Emma deal with a difficult Ruhma. A dry Zara's unhappy at Mrs Tembe's temporary replacement.

Mrs Tembe and Heston have lunch and invite an arrogant visiting author from Botswana. The organiser of her lecture is a patient of Daniel's but they both have a secret which soon becomes revealed when Rob gets involved.

On Ben's first day there is a serious hacking into the computer servers complete with a ransom demand, but Al has a solution. Emma sees Helen, but it appears she's an impostor.

Sid sees a young kid who says he's been sexually assaulted by an older man. Will's girlfriend takes a shine to Jimmi on a night out. Valerie upsets a woman who has breast cancer.

Valerie visits an elderly patient who believes her recently deceased sister is haunting her for her coral necklace. Zara and Daniel stay at Emma's to test her landlady skills. Heston and Rob have a drink out.

Kieran calls in Rob when he thinks his friend Annalise is being kept in her flat against her will. Will and Erin try out Emma's B&B. Zara continues to disparage Ben and his ideas.

Zara deals with a female boxer with a massive heat rash and an annoying trainer granddad. Valerie keeps on with her weird diet. Erin continues to flirt with a confused Jimmi.

Al attends a Cosplay stag do where he gets chatted up by a gorgeous lady in silver. Heston deals with an old Am-Dram buddy who's acting really weirdly. Jimmi continues to deal with a messy Will.

Karen gets a letter from a lonely neighbour but gets a shock when she pops round. Heston joins Jimmi and Rob on a Viper hunt. Emma's new house guests turn out to be naked Spanish swingers.

Sid attends an eventful DIY class. A foolish Jimmi spurns Erin's advances and is surprised by Will's new bloke. Heston refuses Ruhma's suggestion of having some wedding photos taken.

Ruhma shadows at the local Home Office detention centre for Pregnant immigrants and finds it rife with racial and sexual abuse. Jimmi helps Ben write a speech.

Some of the gang go to a murder mystery team building day organised by Ben, much to Zara's disdain. At the Mill and Icon Bar, Ruhma tries to allay some of Heston's misplaced fears.

Karen visits a man who's being accused of being a paedophile by the father of two young schoolgirls he keeps watching. Heston thinks a young schoolboy has taken Viper much to his mum and Zara's disbelief.

Daniel sees Craig, who's wife is accusing of having very smelly feet. It's his wife who has the problem though. Emma makes a house visit, but inhales Viper smoke so it's Ayesha and Heston to the rescue.

Al visits a terminally ill patient to find his daughter paying a Shaman to perform healing rituals. Heston tries to discover where Louise got the Viper. Ayesha and Emma bond as Emma recovers.

Heston continued quest against the supply of Viper, surprisingly helped by Alia, gets him into trouble. Ben is forced to come out as gay to his mother after a visit by Will.

Ayesha and Emma deal with a sleep deprived new mum, who eventually snaps at her noisy piano playing neighbour. Ben tries to deal with the aftermath of coming out. Heston tracks down the Viper supplier.

Heston camps outside the Viper makers' house trying to get evidence for Rob but soon gets a whack. Al sees a lovely lady Vicar who's lost her Faith, and together deal with a man who thinks he's a robot.

Ruhma is anxious over a missing Heston, who's wandering the streets hooked on Viper. Rob and DS Keane investigate a missing girl at a nightclub.

Ruhma finally finds a drugged out Heston and takes him to St Phills. The search continues for Jenny Moss, who's laying in a ditch. DS Keane thinks Frankie's at fault.

It's Valentine's Day and new temp Kayla gets two patients together. Heston's back in work and continues his search for Liam. Will sends flowers to Ben, which Zara assumes are hers.

Ruhma deals with haughty pregnant detainee Meriem. Will has bad news about his case. Heston goes and visits Liam. Ben comes out to the gang.

Zara gets involved with a patient who's dying wife is searching for her estranged sister. Heston tracks down the Viper factory and calls in the police. Ben dumps Will.

Ben needs another counseling session from Jimmi. Daniel sees chili eating duck carver Greg. Ruhma and Heston meet wedding photographer Paolo.

Sid and Ayesha deal with an angry mother and her daughter, who's complaint might be psychosomatic. Valerie and Karen can't stop scratching, so rub mango on it.

Jimmi deals with a young cop after he crashes his car and who has failing peripheral vision. Itchy Valerie and Karen discover they have Scabies. Heston continues to arrange his new wedding reception.

Emma attends a Neighbourhood Watch social and meets the attractive Adam. Karen, Rob and Valerie deal with their Scabies problem. Al has a fun Skype chat with his mother.

Former surgery student Remy starts work at the animal rescue centre and tries to impress cute Anna. Sid then turns up after a dog. Eve gets visited by a window salesman. Valerie has a session with Jimmi.

Zara sees the pregnant girlfriend of a star footballer, Jason. Jason meanwhile, invited Ben back to his hotel room. Valerie attends a PPG meeting. Al discovers his mother has been conned.

Daniel hits a student with his car, who's badly injured anyway and has a bag of money. Al gets more and more desperate with his mother. Karen still has Scabies.

Zara helps patient Leslie to stand up to her bullying neighbour. Ashley attempts to push his way back into Valerie's life. Al starts his cunning plan to get Eve's money back.

It's the day of Heston and Ruhma's wedding photos. What could possibly go wrong? Ayesha helps a woman whose son's in custody, when she goes to sit at the police station. Emma takes her new roommate to the wedding.

Visiting abrasive Carolina Thomas, Emma is amazed that, Carolina, as a black woman, is living with a former racist. Al sets a trap to get his mother's money back, whilst Valerie starts to succumb to Ashley's overtures.

Karen sees a recently bereaved woman who's started getting texts from her dead husband. Eve and Al tinkle the ivories. Valerie gives in to the temptation of Ashley.

Heston deals with a headmistress who's being back stabbed by a colleague. Mrs Tembe returns to find chaos; a computer virus has caused a power cut at both the Mill and Campus surgeries.

Jimmi sees Emma's latest lodger who's having some kind of emotional trauma. Ashley has a go at Daniel after his Letherbridge FM appearance. Sid loses another patient.

The Mill gets a surprise inspection where Al finally snaps. Ruhma deals with a New Age birth, but the father has double dipped. Ben has a difficult first day at St. Phills.

Jimmi comes across a badly injured man in a crashed car so helps him and his pregnant wife. Daniel calls in an IT consultant, a friend of a friend at the gym. Karen discovers the source of her scabies.

Ayesha takes Sierra to the library for an author reading, an author who appears drunk, then vomits. Karen discovers Valerie's affair with Ashley, who is called in by Jimmi when the system goes down again.

Emma stumbles across a man who's been attacked, wearing his dead wife's dress. Jimmi sees bereaved Celia as part of his counselling course. Ayesha is horrified over Valerie's wedding plans.

Karen helps defuse a family feud between a cowboy and a Mill patient. Ashley and his pregnant wife see Ruhma. Sid discovers the source of the computer virus.

Between December 2017 and now, Heston deals with Stuart, who suddenly becomes paralysed and can only blink, and his fiancee. Will their upcoming wedding be affected though?

With the cause of the computer virus found, the staff set about rebooting systems. Daniel has his mobile and his identity stolen by a student patient. Ayesha corners Ashley at the Icon.

Emma and DI Addison attend a double murder scene and deal with the couple's daughter. It's the day of the Mill's inspection, but will Sid save the day? Valerie bumps into Ashley and his pregnant wife.

Having left Helen, Ashley turns up at Valerie's, with bags. Ruhma visits Helen at home. Mrs Tembe tries to build morale after the computer problems.

Mrs Tembe takes some of the staff on a circus themed team bonding exercise. Jimmi deals with Leon, who after being told he's going to be a dad insists that he's put behind bars. Emma gets bothered by her latest house guest.

Valerie has another counselling session with Jimmi. Zara and her race activist friend look into someone they think is part of a vicious campaign against her. Emma holds a LGBTQ+ meeting.

Sid is concerned about Vinnie, so is his work colleague Shahla. Daniel deals with a trans-gender schoolgirl. A returned Al gets computer advice from Valerie.

Student nurse Lucy is shadowing Ayesha at the Campus, but is very jumpy when the phone rings. Emma's new house guest keeps being sick. Daniel gets more information on Joni's case.

The blood courier's van is stolen outside the Campus surgery so Mrs Tembe and Jimmi investigate. Ruhma bumps into very odd Chrissie at the cake shop. Daniel goes to visit Joni's father Dillon.

Rob, Jimmi and new DI Yoshida investigate when a dead body is found in an orchard. Daniel meets up with Joni but ends up antagonising her. Ruhma and Valerie go bargain hunting.

Al sees Mary's aging father and discovers he's locked the plumber in the basement. Daniel visits Joni's Social Worker then discovers that she's had another fainting fit. Ruhma's worried that her ring may be stolen.

Daniel attends the court hearing to decide Joni's future and discovers the animosity between Joni's parents.

Jimmi intervenes after an altercation between a patient and his dead partner's mother. Valerie's insomnia gets worse. Emma and Zara react badly to Mrs Tembe's two-day Conflict Resolution course.

Mrs Tembe and most of the staff start their Conflict Resolution course, where Zara rules the roost. New receptionist Charlie starts at the Campus, where a drunken rabbit, and a violent druggie ruin her day.

On day two of the course, the team get split into pairs. Daniel deals with former junkie Lorna, whom he spots hanging around the school yard. Someone sets fire to the Campus.

Rob investigates the arson attack, but are all clues pointing to new receptionist Charlie? Valerie's new ideas to solve her insomnia test out Ayesha. Sid gets attacked by Rich.

Heston meets old racquet club friend Bill, who claims to have won the lottery. Daniel takes Ayesha golfing in the hope of chatting to the University Vice Chancellor. A tired Valerie signs herself and Al up to a sleep trial.

Emma sees Colin who asks about anger management. His wife meanwhile is in a bar chatting up a married man. After attacking him they all end up at the police station.

After the fire, Daniel suggests closing the Campus surgery and taking over another venue. Al deals with Max, who says voices in his head are telling him not to take his medication. Karen and Rob get the offer of a new foster placement.

Zara stops to help injured Jade, but she's on the run and soon steals Zara's car. Jimmi has some luck when he sees the Vice Chancellor. Karen and Rob's new arrival is very over polite and timid.

Sid and Rob get called in after a mugger's hit with a brick by a man trying to protect his disabled daughter. Daniel's opposed to the reopening of the Campus surgery. James gets hurt when trying to fix Rob's car.

Ayesha visits a cantankerous old lady who's had a fall. Mrs Tembe invites everyone to give forth their money spending ideas. Karen makes a breakthrough with James.

Mrs Tembe gets taken hostage when she visits a local radio station building as a possible surgery venue. Daniel and Zara spend the day cleaning. Ayesha has a bus idea to spend the spare cash.

Al and Valerie spend their night at the Sleep Institute run by Hartley Beddington, though both are unaware of his true motive.

Ruhma shows a student nurse the ropes, but she has a problem. The newly repainted Campus surgery opens. Unknown to Emma, her new house guest Mandy used to be married to Jimmi.

Sid has an eventful day whilst jogging in the park. The medical staff put forward their pitches for the extra money to Mrs Tembe and Zara. Emma is still unaware of Amanda's secret.

Following her car accident Mandy comes to see Daniel whilst Ayesha's winning pitch gets a mixed reaction. Elderly Nobby Gosden seeks Rob's help when his niece brings her violent criminal boyfriend into the house.

James fails his interview on the second day of his army assessment. Ayesha tries to get people to go to Valerie's pajama party. Heston deals with paramedic Nicole, who's emigrating. Jimmi walks in on Amanda and Daniel.

Valerie's pajama party has its ups and downs. Jimmi and Amanda try to sort out their problems with a cozy chat and a trip to the bedroom. Rob tries to get James out of his bedroom.

Zara deals with a student who has a brain tumour, and is being accused of murder. Jimmi asks Amanda to move in after having slept with her. Ayesha's bus gets the go ahead.

Zara gets a letter which unnerves her and makes her aggressive at work whilst Rob deals with schizophrenic Celia and discovers why she thinks she can hear a baby crying. Al meanwhile prepares for Eve to come and stay with him.

On the first day of Ayesha's big medical bus, Heston deals with the violent out bursts of homeless Amber. Sid tries to help Zara. Valerie starts volunteering at the care home.

Jimmi deals with a Muslim family with bi-polar in the family. Daniel deals with Zara's breakdown. Valerie convinces Al to let Eve join her on a pensioners' outing. Karen's concerned for James.

Daniel manages to persuade Zara to get out of the house whilst Heston believes that James needs specialist help for his problems and Eve does not react to the pensioners' day out as Valerie had hoped.

Sid attends a traffic accident caused by a suicidal drunk. Amanda starts work at the Mill. Zara returns and Jimmi tries to make Al sees that Eve's actions were not Valerie's fault.

On the big medical bus, Ayesha and Ruhma treat a pregnant prostitute with mental problems, and one of her clients for an SDI. At the Mill Daniel treats an alcoholic woman.

Emma has a lift to a review meeting by the world's most inept taxi driver. James has a day at a garage. Mrs Tembe wants to improve the bins and the Mill's recycling.

Heston gets annoyed when he acts as a medical advisor to a play about sexual harassment. Emma helps Zara with Joe's school project. Jimmi opens up to Amanda.

Mrs Tembe and Daniel try to get Al on board with a new initiative. Amanda deals with troublesome Ian Dawkins. Karen helps James with new accommodation.

Ruhma deals with Lisette, who wants to give up her new baby for adoption, against her mother's wishes. Mrs Tembe brings in the recycling bins. Amanda opens up to Jimmi.

Sid deals with a mixed race lad who needs a bone marrow transplant, who discovers that his dad is still alive. Jimmi talks to Al and Emma about his feelings for Amanda.

Valerie has initial trouble getting through to reclusive pensioner Gordon Willet, who has given up on life after his wife's death but ultimately saves him in more ways than one whilst Karen bids an emotional goodbye to James and Jimmi tells Mandy how he really feels.

Easy-going Steve Cox and his workaholic girlfriend Beth Rundle go for an anniversary meal but Rob is involved after Beth has a run-in with officious doorman Karl Bennett and Emma's intervention leads to Steve making a decision. Jimmi goes after Mandy when she disappears and Heston gives Alia a driving lesson he would rather forget.

Ayesha's plan to spend a day with her friend Kelly is waylaid when Kelly's plumber boyfriend Matt discovers a bag of cannabis in the loft of Nicky Harmer, a man with memory loss, which Matt intends to steal. Ayesha decides to help both men and save a wedding as well. Daniel is concerned that Mandy is manipulating Jimmi into leaving the surgery and giving her half his money and turns to Zara for a solution.

Hen-pecked by his wife Derek Bartlett is shocked when his elderly mother Joan announces that she is going to a Czech clinic for a face-lift and accuses surgeon Karel Novak of being a charlatan. Zara however discovers the real reason for his opposition whilst Ruhma and Alia have fun with a make-over and Daniel suggests a way to aid Jimmi's plan to give Mandy financial aid.

Bipolar sufferer Kristal Sawyer comes off her medication, believing it makes her fat and unattractive to girlfriend Tanya, but when Tanya sees Sid with a different complaint he realizes the real reason. Mrs Tembe and Ayesha interview for a locum nurse whilst Jimmi say goodbye to Mandy.

As Joe's school's charity ball looms Al bets Daniel that he can transform Valerie into a sophisticated lady capable of charming the wealthy Hampton Brotherton into making a large donation to school funds. Valerie duly turns up but when Zara recognizes her the wager looks to be in jeopardy.

Karen visits diabetic Ray Jessup, who wants to lose weight to win back his disapproving ex-wife. She decides to help, unaware of just why he is keen to shed two stones. Ruhma is alarmed to find that Alia has a secret boyfriend and Mrs Tembe fails to persuade Heston to replace Jimmi as a partner.

On her first day at the surgery locum nurse Penny Stevenson treats young Luke Peters, a wheelchair user due to take a medical trial but faces prejudice from his mother Heather as she only has one hand. Luke is less bigoted than his mother and lets Penny in on a secret. Elsewhere Mrs Tembe suggests to Emma that she replace Jimmi as a partner.

Ruhma continues to try and find out about Alia's boyfriend. Mrs Tembe and Zara have a round of golf with Emma, with Zara wearing the sauciest golf outfit ever.

Shelly Castle insists her father Ted sees Al when he experiences heart palpitations but Ted refuses to heed Al's advice to take time off work and inform Shelly of his worsening health. Only when Ted has a heart attack does he realize he must consider his position. Emma makes her decision regarding partnership after witnessing Zara and Daniel arguing.

Daniel and Zara continue to bicker, while Al, Jimmi and Penny have far too much fun at work. Karen is suspicious when a patient comes into The Mill with a cut finger.

Sid has a blind date from hell. Al, Jimmi and Penny go to a local pub. Ruhma likes Alia's boyfriend until she catches them snogging.

Elderly Maggie Bryson's memory lapses give Heston cause for concern but he is more alarmed to learn that she has been selling her medication online to help finance her student grandson - with unfortunate results. Penny opens up to Ayesha after her boyfriend has tried to win her back whilst Daniel makes a request that shocks Mrs Tembe.

Shelley and Martin Lightfoot are due to fly to Thailand for their daughter's wedding but Martin has no enthusiasm and Shelley is convinced that he no longer loves her. Penny determines to get to the root of his problems whilst Mrs Tembe enlists Karen's help in trying to dissuade Daniel, as one of two sole partners, from moving into Heston's consulting room.

When single father Riz Ali is attacked by moped-riding thugs and his car stolen with his little girl Mina inside Rob joins DCI Gail Hargreaves in the search for the child. The moped's owner, convicted racist Darren Wilks, is cornered but the discovery of Riz's car does not yield a positive result. Penny organizes a party for her female colleagues to discuss periods whilst Alia deceives her mother to have sex with Tariq.

Wilks is arrested after Mina's disappearance but is released when he has a proven alibi. However Riz unwittingly gives Rob information which leads to the uncovering of a family conspiracy. Elsewhere Mrs Tembe feels betrayed when Heston tells her that he has struck a deal with Daniel.

13 year old Kerry Lynsey, who has Downs Syndrome, complains to Zara that her widowed father Michael treats her like a child but after Kerry gets into a fight Zara is able to reconcile the pair. At the period party Alia's friend Farah reluctantly over comes her fear to share her experience, after which Alia has a confession for her mother, which Farah overhears.

Sid consoles distraught Hannah Gunnarsen when her step-father dies but her estranged daughter Finn does not share her grief and her reason shocks the family. However the truth is even more upsetting. Alia confides in Ruhma that Tariq has used her for sex whilst Zara's proposition likewise astounds Daniel.

Chef Antonia Brandon battles anaemia, a boyfriend who wants her to change her job and a demanding boss to prove that she is excellent at her work but when she collapses in the restaurant Emma steps in to make sure that things go well for her at every level. Ruhma is still perturbed by Alia's over-reaction to being used by Tariq whilst Zara and Daniel come to an agreement.

Recovering from a stroke Lucinda Gold relies on her schoolgirl daughter Megan to be her carer but her estranged husband Matt feels that they are unable to cope. When Karen visits she discovers the truth. Mrs Tembe receives the result of the inspection which contains good news - for the most part - whilst Shak finds out the reason for his sister's moods and takes action.

Nervous Julian Williams learns that he is HIV+ and asks Al's help in informing his girlfriend Kate that she is the source. Al's method of assisting almost ends in disaster before the couple reconcile. Ruhma is in shock after discovering why Shak assaulted Tariq though other staff members find a way to make work fun.

On locum Penny's last day Al and Jimmi organize a party for her. Valerie, upset by her leaving, orders a special cake for her, which is not what she expected though she is able to help its bakers. Meanwhile, as Alia's family rallies around her, somebody takes a terrible revenge on Tariq.

Following the hit-and-run on Tariq Amiri in Heston's stolen car the police interview Heston and his family. Their finger-prints are taken to match with those of the driver but then one of them comes out with a confession. Ayesha meanwhile goes clubbing with free-spirited new acquaintance Shona but finds that she is no friend.

After Alia's admission her friend Farah is questioned by the police, explaining that Tarq Amiri compromised her as he did Alia but her mother provides her with an alibi and the police pay another visit to Heston.

Heston is questioned by the police with solicitor Philip present. Philip advises him to say nothing but DI Addison is anxious to make an arrest. Meanwhile Shak has something to tell his mother and Zara and Daniel compete to tell Joe the best bedtime story.

Visiting Linda Klute to discuss her husband's funeral Mrs Tembe is troubled by the influence medium Bluebell Appleby has on her - almost ruining Linda's memory of her man and her relationship with daughter Annie. As Heston is released for lack of evidence Shak's admission shakes the family whilst Zara and Daniel disagree over her desire for another child through surrogacy.

An angry Alia visits Tariq in hospital demanding reasons for his actions. Later Rob arrives to take a statement whilst Karen is worried about James. Aiden Garwell wrenches his back whilst helping ex-wife Carol to move in with her lover Sam, who is also his sister. Carol appears unsympathetic but Sam is concerned and involves Sid, thereby saving a life.

Tariq gives Rob a statement that clears Shak but Addison is not convinced whilst Karen is perturbed that James has not returned her calls. Visually impaired student Emily contacts Jimmi when her study buddy Simon disappears and when Jimmi locates him he finds Simon is not who he claimed to be.

When Al rails against the ban on sugary drinks in the campus shop he is challenged by attractive student activist April Trello, but when she explains her reasons he comes to a compromise. Meanwhile, vegan parent Ruby Ashbury is accused of neglecting her little girl Holly and the partners plan for a minor injuries unit.

Ayesha comes under fire from Holly's father for not recognizing her measles - until he discovers that Ruby had not vaccinated her and a friend of Holly becomes fatally ill. Meanwhile Heston beats Zara to recruiting Sid to the minor surgery unit.

Diana Davidson accuses Emma of having an affair with her husband Harry, who later amazes Emma by telling her that he has travelled back from 2023 to be with his dying mother. Emma is disbelieving until something strange happens. Heston and Sid prepare for the minor surgery unit whilst Ayesha is asked for a date by social worker Leo.

Ruhma delivers Lucy Oldfield's baby but is accused of incompetence by her angry husband Ian when the baby has a broken collar-bone. Then Lucy makes an admission which changes everything. Zara and Daniel continue to argue about surrogacy whilst Ayesha's date with Leo is not what she was expecting.

Heston and Sid attend the course in preparation for the minor surgery unit but, whilst Heston plans to keep his previous experience as a surgeon quiet, he soon crosses swords with the convener. Cleaner Donna Jenner has an interview to train as a landscape gardener and when her sadistic supervisor Hayley tries to thwart her Jimmi helps Donna to defeat her. Elsewhere Ayesha impresses Leo on their second date.

Mrs Tembe is due to meet the supercilious and generally disliked Mr Smail, her opposite number at the larger Sutton Vale surgery, so that when Valerie befriends nurse Rhoda Jolie, who once worked there, she is anxious to get the lowdown on him. Unfortunately she gets involved in Rhoda's complicated love life instead.

Heston attends the funeral of eccentric Barry Bashford and finds himself charged with locating Barry's long-lost son Harvey, now living rough, but discovers a scam. Mrs Tembe sends Sid undercover to find out why Smail is poaching their patients whilst Daniel receives an attractive offer from a persuasive woman.

Ayesha meets old school-friend Karinna who tells her she has had a baby and wants to remove the Caesarian scar to further work as a model. However Ayesha discovers she has a more disturbing reason. Mrs Tembe is concerned that Sid might defect to Sutton Vale whilst Daniel accepts a new role on a television shopping channel.

When elderly Marty Reese falls downstairs to his death local busybody Barbra Connolly accuses his carer, Juliet Radnor, of killing him for his money so Emma and Rob must discover the truth. Al and Jimmi put Daniel through his paces for his new role whilst Ayesha gets the measure of Jeremy Smail.

Al treats his computer game rival Mega Lewalska as a patient but gets involved personally when she tries to prevent her weak ex-boyfriend Max from marrying the domineering Carrie - using illegal means. Leo has bad news for Karen regarding James whilst Mrs Tembe prepares to meet Jeremy Smail.

Teen-aged burglar Steve Pope is electrocuted whilst robbing Jeff Weston's house but when Sid calls Jeff tells him the boy is his son. Sid sets out to find out why. Daniel's first television appearance is a success whilst Mrs Tembe's visit to Smail proves to be unexpectedly productive.

Jimmi takes pity on Michael Leonard, a professional beggar who is clearly ill but refuses hospital admission . Jimmi is keen to discover why. Mrs Tembe and Emma thwart Smail by persuading his businessman investor that he is being lied to whilst Karen determines to locate James and Shak prepares for university.
