Acts of sabotage involve a traditional Japanese tea table, a toy crab claw and a hammock.

A chef is forced to make a dish while seated in a high chair; two opponents must share-and-use-a giant saw; and cooking vessels are replaced with corn husks.

Challenges and curve-balls with a Halloween theme. Included: one chef pays a heavy price for a deal with the devil; a contestant must dig out of a grave; and someone is forced to cook over a hell flame.

Part 1 of 5. "Superstar Sabotage" begins w/ Susan Feniger, Jeff Mauro, Michael Psilakis, Aarti Sequeira competing in challenges, during which they encounter culinary curveballs, including a treadmill station.

A chef is forced to use a metal plumbing elbow when cooking macaroni; and a game of ring toss is played to win calamari. Also: Alton adds a jittery twist to a coffee cake challenge.

Part 2 of 5. Chefs Nadia G., Brian Malarkey, Marcel Vigneron and Justin Warner face sabotages, including a very high prep table, cooking in a popcorn machine and getting a hand stuck in a cookie jar.

The chefs have to rummage through boxes, to get their cookware, in the first challenge. Later, kitchen tools are replaced with tortilla chips; and ingredients must be harvested out of a pot of honey.

Part 3 of 5. "Superstar Sabotage" continues with Anne Burrell, Eric Greenspan, Johnny Iuzzini and Damaris Phillips competing in challenges and trying to overcome culinary curveballs, including a floating prep station.

Culinary curveballs include a giant boulder of aluminum foil; chefs being forced to cook for each other; and a memory game to win ingredients.

Part 4 of 5. Melissa d'Arabian, Elizabeth Falkner, Alex Guarnaschelli, Fabio Viviani deal w/ sabotages that include hitting the slots for ingredients, grating a giant block of cheese and cooking in banana leaves.
