New consultant Stevie Nash ropes old friend Faith into helping look for a dementia patient, Charlie finally learns the identity of his catfish and a fever causes Ethan to remember events five years ago when he treated Stevie's sister.

Jacob has more trouble with Tina after saving a suicidal woman from drowning, Ethan struggles to balance Bodhi and work but works out a connection between two patients with bleeds, and Teddy learns Jan is sleeping at the ambulance station.

An expectant couple are involved in a mishap with a gender reveal cannon, causing Ethan and Matthew to square off, while Jan finds Ffion in hospital with a minor mishap that reveals something more serious.

Jade and Stevie get to know each other after a paranoid girlfriend causes her boyfriend to have a car accident, Iain and Teddy try to help a lonely homeless man and things escalate between Jacob and Tina as an ambulance is called.

A bus crash sees Jade encounter both her estranged mother and an injured care worker as she finds herself under investigation, while Stevie meets a patient who is ignoring her health to avoid her grief and Jacob shuts himself away at home.

Matthew has to operate on the victim of a hunting accident, Rash has mixed loyalties when he finds a girl from his old school involved in gang violence, and Charlie helps a boy with anxiety problems.

Jan is called out to a young farmer run over by her own tractor, Iain is trapped in a grain silo while looking for Evira at a nearby farm and Dylan suspects Paula is drinking again when she covers for a friend with a burnt arm.

Paula is allowed to have Ena living with her but struggles to take help. Marty becomes involved in the case of a transgender teen unable to come out to her parents. Adi admits Jessica is his surrogate as she comes in with placenta previa.

Teddy hands in his resignation but becomes involved with an attack on Al Shipton. Faith has an opportunity to help Stevie when she finds herself treating Holly from HR.

Matthew and Stevie's appearance before the sexual harassment tribunal coincides with them treating a family caught in a house fire. Marty and Paige find themselves in a difficult situation when Adi and Jessica turn up with bleeding.

Iain infiltrates the farm where the trafficked immigrants are being held; David's son and his mischievous school friends get stoned on supplies stolen from an ambulance.

Stevie's struggles on Emma's birthday increase when she treats a mother and daughter injured in a car crash on a birthday, Paige and Rash meet an elderly pair dealing with terminal cancer and Sah is shocked to recognise a visiting GP.

Faith struggles to talk with Natalia when she is hospitalised after an experiment with her boyfriend. David's distress over Ollie's funeral is added to by the mother of a girl bitten by a dog. An art student has fingers severed by a sword.

David helps out after an explosion at his block of flats, leaving him and Jan trapped in a boiler room. Stevie clashes with Jonty again during a procedure and Charlie and Adi assess a woman with dementia.

Rash is unable to get hold of Paige to discuss her BRAC results, as he and Ethan treat a suicidal man with motor neuron disease. Sah struggles with their mother's return and helps a college student found unconscious after a night out.
