Ben ventures deep into the Scottish Highlands, home to Iona and her young family, on their near 10,000-acre wilderness estate that she grew up on. Ben drives cattle on horseback, digs out a dam and gets to grips with the annual deer cull,

Ben goes to the Black Mountains Wales, to live with a family, discover their stunningly designed wild home and learn of the challenges they face. He climbs into a ravine to maintain their hydro-electric power and helps plant new woodland.

Ben journeys to a secretive patch of woodland in the Suffolk countryside, to spend the week with unique character Will Lord, who could be described as a true British caveman.

We join Ben on a unique and tiny island in the Scottish Hebrides with his host, ex-social care worker Philip. Ben finds out how Philip became a custodian of this coastal island.
