After six years globetrotting, Scott and Casey gambled their life savings on a kite-surfing school in a remote stretch of the Peruvian coast. Ben learns what led them to this decision.

Deep in the heart of the Sahara desert in Morocco, Ben visits a mud brick oasis, where he meets British-born Karen, who has built a guest house and artists' retreat in this inhospitable location.

In Boquete, in the highlands of western Panama, Ben joins Andi and Rick and their son Cole, from Oregon, USA. He learns why they left their comfortable lives in the States behind to create and develop a unique coffee plantation.

Ben travels to Sri Lanka where he meets Janey, a vet from the North-East of England, who runs a charitable clinic focused on helping the street dogs that roam the island.
