Bamse discovers a new island and makes a bridge for Ælling. But Ælling doesn't want to play and runs off. Bamse believes Ælling is missing and leaves the island, only to get lost himself. In the meantime Ælling and Kylling play on the island.

The seagulls have pooped on Bamse's roof and Bamse wants Kylling to remove it, but Kylling gets upset and refuses. Kylling finds a red suitcase and Bamse is extremely curious, wanting to open it and see what's inside. He starts following Kylling.

Bamse makes a school and Kylling is his student together with the 'dance doll'. They will learn about animals, botanic and how to eat school food.

Continued from the previous episode. A new student arrives in Bamse's school. Ælling is going to learn everything about water.

Bamse invents a bicycle with training wheels for Kylling.

Bamse pretends to be King and wants Kylling to execute his orders but Kylling would rather play with it's 'Gulle-Goklinger'.

It's hard taking care of babies. Especially when the baby is Ælling who doesn't listen and throws away the toys. Also, Bamse and Kylling catch crabs.

Bamse wants to be scout leader and be in charge of everything. Kylling would rather stay in the garden but Bamse appoints Kylling chief scout. Now they have to find Ælling and make her girl scout.

Bamse and Kylling prepare Ælling's birthday. Kylling bakes a cake and Bamse try out games he wants to play with Ælling. But when Ælling arrives she is more interested in a mud hole.

Bamse, Kylling and Ælling find some waste containers and they go home to find things to throw out. They meet Viggo who saves thrown out things from the container. Ælling is very interested in Viggo's things, but Bamse thinks it's weird that Viggo want things that are thrown out. Viggo shows Bamse how things can be recycled.

Bamse wants to explore the waste container yard. He falls into the container and finds a ball and a bowl of which he will make a game. Viggo and Kylling doesn't want to play his homemade game and Bamse gets upset. He takes Viggo's bike and takes a wild ride with Kylling.

Bamse gets jealous at Viggo and Kylling who play music together on a saw and harmonica. He gets upset and slams his door so hard that the chimney falls down. Viggo puts the chimney up again and gets an idea. What if he plays the saw, Kylling plays the harmonica and Bamse the washboard?

Bamse and Kylling borrow Viggo's saw.
