Kylling rides on a stick. Bamse gets jealous and grabs it. Bamse pretends he is Sven Herlig and Kylling is Dorthe-Elisabeth and they are riding the 'horse' on a their honeymoon. They end up reading the Wishing Book about two wild animals meeting a tame animal.

Bamse is bored when Kylling sits in in his nest all day. Kylling and Ælling swap nests, and Bamse decides to teach Kylling to swim. It turns out Kylling is afraid of water. So it becomes Bamse who ends up in the water. Afterwards Bamse tells a story about two twins who are bored.

Bamse reads in the Wishing Book how he and Kylling built a sand castle at the beach. Kyllings shows up and together they read about when they and Aske had dinner in the water out in the ocean.

Bamse has decided that the first to visit the him will get the chance to join him on a picnic. Sitting on the roof of his house he sees a figure approaching. It's Ælling.

Bamse wants to play but Luna is more concerned about Lillebjørn who has gone into hibernation. Together with Kylling they search for him. They find him and Bamse gets jealous when Lillebjørn gets so much attention. So Bamse decides to go into hibernation himself.

Bamse sits alone in his cabin. Outside it's snowing. He wants to socialize and reads in his Wishing Book about the time it was summer and sunny. He reads two stories, the first about about when he, Luna and Kylling camped. They could not understand why Kyling was so sad until Bamse found out that Kylling missed its nest. The second about when he and Kylling pretended to be Sven Herlig and Dorthe-Elisabeth who had just been married.
