Jason is shot and killed by the mentally unbalanced Nicole Love at the Big Top carnivals House of Mirrors. Her involvement with the crime was not immediately known.

Josie is angry when John performs Jason's tasks. Evan panics when he learns the murdered Jason kept a ledger. Sharlene takes offense at Iris who questions her parental skills. Donna asks Vicky is she's involved with Jason's death.

Vicky is questioned about Jason by police Courtney and Rick. Jason's funeral is conducted with John with Matt supporting Sharlene and Josie. Later Evan gives a poignant and solitary farewell. Felicia is charged with Jason's murder.

Jamie coaches Jake over the phone as he delivers Vicky's baby who is named Steven.

After over ten years Larry Ewing leaves Bay City.
