Koos is not very enthusiastic when Mien tells him they may get the chance to take part in a television quiz. Dr. John has taken over Gert-Jan's work in Lydie's practice. Hans' niece Wiep is coming back to stay in Amsterdam.

Lydie is in hospital, recovering from a car accident. When Koos' bicycle is stolen for the third time in a row, Jopie comes up with an innovative way to replace it.

On the day Lydie is returning home from hospital, Koos and Mien are supposed to go the selection for the Weekend Quiz in Hilversum.

Koos and Mien have come through the first selection for the quiz. Jopie has built Koos a bicycle that looks like it belongs on the scrapyard, so it will never be stolen.

Wiep and John spend a night in line to get tickets to a Prince concert. Mien wants to buy a new dress but Koos hasn't got the money. As usual, Jopie has a solution.

The day of the TV quiz has finally come. Jopie and Annie are Mien and Koos' loudest supporters. Lydie and Hans have a couple of psychiatrists over for dinner and stand to miss the Dobbelsteens on Television.

Mien and Koos have got a house full of beautiful prizes, but no garden to put their new outdoor furniture. Wiep and Dr. John have spend their first night together and he immediately proposes the next morning.

Koos has neglected to give their front door a new lick of paint. Mien decides to let Wiep and her artistic classmates have a go when Koos is out fishing with Jopie.

Flossie the dog has been hunting rabbits in Buurman Buys' garden. Koos is called on to make sure the fence is impenetrable, but Flossie still finds a way round.

Lydie and Hans are all dressed up to go to a ball in Leiden. Wiep has asked Dr. John out to dinner and Mien drags Koos out to go dancing. Afterwards, when Lydie is walking the dog, she stumbles upon a brawl in a bar.

Mien attends to a bleeding patient when both doctors are out. When she receives a box of expensive wine bottles in return, Hans wants to keep them for himself. Meanwhile Mien would rather have a new pair of boots.

Lydie is talked into hanging a hideous painting from an art student in her waiting room, sees her car radio being stolen while looking at the window and gets a ticket when parked in front of the police station.

Wiep is going on a school trip to Florence for a fortnight. Everybody else is stumped by a riddle. Lydie gets a new car radio and promptly leaves it in a phone box.

Çanci comes to visit unexpectedly and brings along her Italian boyfriend who immediately takes possession of Lydie's telephone line.

Neither Hans nor Koos has much good to say about Çanci's boyfriend Paolo. Koos even suspects he may be a mafiosi. Then two policemen including one from Interpol appear on the Doctor's doorstep.

Koos is surprised to find Mien ironing Mr. Paolo's silk shirts. Hans finally bonds with Paolo over a bottle and a little amateur opera singing.

Hans and Paolo make an enormous spectacle out of cooking dinner for the ladies. But during dinner Paolo and Çanci get into an argument. Annie is also upset with Jopie and wants to spend the night at Koos & Mien's

Wiep arrives home from Italy bearing gifts. Now that Annie and Jopie have broken up, Mien asks her sister to join her and Koos during their upcoming holiday to Athens.

Koos, Mien, Jopie & Annie are on holiday in Athens and Wiep is doing the housekeeping for Dr. Lydie. Hans proposes that he and Lydie also go to Athens for a doctors congress and Koos gets lost in the Greek hotel.

The night before Lydie & Hans leave for Athens, Buurman Buys keeps calling at the front door because he's locked himself out. Once the doctors pair is in Greece, they keep missing the Doppelsteen party by a hair.
