Celebrity contestants compete in the Season 9 premiere, which begins with Anne Burrell and Rachael Ray assessing the skills (or lack thereof) of their celebrity recruits, who are asked to cook a dish, using some unique ingredients from Hollywood gift swag bags. Later, instructions are given for how to prepare a simple steak and eggs dish.

The celebrity recruits are introduced to unique tropical flavors and then given the task of replicating Hawaiian poke and pork dishes.

Anne and Rachael get into the spirit of Oktoberfest by having their teams cook a traditional wiener schnitzel. But there's a twist when the challenge involves a relay race. Then, sausage is made from scratch.

Anne Burrell and Rachael Ray get Halloween-ready with scary challenges for the celebrities like unique monster Bloody Marys and frightening foods in their main dish. Then two celebrities face a "devilish" elimination challenge.

A game of Family Food is played by the celebrity recruits, who are asked food and pop culture questions. Later, they must make chicken and waffles exactly as demonstrated by their mentors, Anne Burrell and Rachael Ray.

The tables are turned, when the remaining celebrities are instituted to teach hosts Anne Burrell and Rachael Ray how to make a dish. Then, the celebs are introduced to the often intimidating world of Indian cooking in their main dish challenge.

The celebrities must prepare a recipe with missing key words; the remaining recruits must make complex pasta dishes for special guests and former contestants Jenni Farley and Kendra Wilkinson.

The last two recruits face a tough panel of culinary experts, including Sarah Gore, chef Akhtar Nawab and Laura Vitale. Anne Burrell and Rachael Ray coach their recruits, and one will walk away with $50,000 for their charity.

Worst Cooks in America revisits some of the craziest and messiest moments in the show's first eight seasons; mentors face a serious challenge as they do their best to make experts out of seemingly hopeless cases.

Chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence are coming to the rescue of two of the worst cooks in America, sisters Brittany and Lesley, as they take on the challenge of hosting their entire extended family for a holiday dinner.
