Ben feels his pro-deo lawyer isn't competent and doesn't even believe him, but needs telling off his grim attitude will only play in the prosecutor's favor. Freek is indefinitely on life support, but Betty is assured he may recover after awakening from coma.

Ben lingers on in jail, desperate as Kittie left saying they have no future without him answering her about his innocence, but amnesia prevents that.
