An alien arrives on Earth planning world domination. Unfortunately for him he decides to possess the body of Ataru in order to accomplish his plan.

It's a sweltering summer day, and everyone's all hot and bothered, except Lum. She's staying cool with an alien cooler that produces a floating, mind-controlled ice block. She gives some to her classmates, but warns them that stress will make the blocks of ice grow and come crashing down on their heads. If the stress levels reach their peak, then the user's fantasies will become projected in the ice, which opens up all sorts of impure possibilities for Ataru.

Lum employs a Cupid to shoot a love arrow into Ataru. Ataru is determined that isn't going to happen. Let's hope Cupid doesn't dart anyone else by accident because that would certainly cause trouble.

Ten has an unexpected visit from his mother and has to make a good impression by being nice to Ataru in her presence. He sets out to find a Carnation to give to her for her birthday.

'Bluebird, the serial fulfill er' escapes to Earth and attempts to spread happiness by making people's dreams come true. It doesn't go quite to plan though.

Ryuunosuke finds letters hidden by her father that shed light on her origins. Events unfold which result in a duel between father and child on Ganryu Island.

Summer draws to a close and lonesome Shinobu sends a letter to her fox friend at Fox village. Little Fox turns up with a bunch of dandelions hoping to seal their relationship in marriage.

The Spice Girls are back and looking for trouble. They plan to deploy a vain, wily ostrich against Lum, but should that fail they have a tougher adversary in reserve.

Shutaro sneakily invites just Lum and Shinobu to go surfing at his Marine Park but has to invite the whole class after they find out. By chance, Ryuu and her father are already there, short of cash and looking to work a scam.

The Moroboshi family are suffering financial difficulties. Can a Tanabata Wishing Star help them out? Will they be able to make the right wishes?

A frog named Pigmo requires a kiss from his number one love in order to return to his normal form. This happens to be Lum, and Ataru is not happy about it.

Miss Sakura becomes possessed by a spirit spirit. No problem, she only needs to avoid alcohol and the spirit will be forced to leave her body. Attending Shutaro's outdoor tea ceremony seems safe enough.

It's been raining for a week and everyone is out of shape, so the gang decide to attend Cherry's Tomobiki Yoga School to get fit again. Even Ataru is keen but only because he thinks girls will be there.

Rumour has it that teacher Onsen is retiring from Tomobiki High School. In fact he is spending time in the wilderness training his body and mind prior to a school marathon run.

Tsubame and Sakura's romantic date seems fated not to go smoothly, especially after Suakura takes a shower and accidentally uses Lum's super slippery home made soap.

Asuka is unreasonably terrified of all men except her adored big brother Ton. Their mother arranges a duel between the two. If Ton wins, then Asuka must finally allow her brother his freedom from her overbearing attention.

Ataru and Lum pay to have their good fortunes (Omikuji) predicted. Unfotunately, their wishes appear to be incompatible. This could take up both time and money then.

Ataru, Shutaro, Shinobu, Lum and Jariten are under the impression that they are about to attend a lavish New Year's party at the Mendou estate. In fact they are about to become token pieces in a bizarre three dimensional board game.

A fairy with the power to make children's wishes come true needs Ten's help to find his lost magical umbrella. Apon safe return of the umbrella Ten will be granted one wish. Ataru soon muscles in on the action himself.

Shinobu unwisely jokes with Ataru that she will go on a date with him if he can come first at any subject in the upcoming school exams. Ataru plans to cheat of course, with some help from The Patron Saint of Scholarship, Michizane Sugawara

Encouraged by Lum and Shinobu, Sakura cooks up a passion pill recipe in her cauldron. The girls employ sly tactics to get Ataru and Shutaro to eat the pills with spectacular results. It soon becomes apparent that something has gone wrong.

Mr.Onsen is mentally exhausted after years of woeful disrespect shown to him by his pupils. Believing that bad attitudes start at home he decides to visit the families one by one to put the parents straight. What a trooper.

The class of Tomobiki High continue to treat teacher Onsen with utter contempt. He arranges for them to undertake a meditation session. That should put them right.

Granny tells Little Fox the tale of a fox who rescues a pretty village girl from a photograph in which she has been imprisoned by an unpleasant Oni. Little Fox attempts to release his beloved Shinobu from a picture in the same way.

Ataru is chasing after girls when he should be on a date with Lum. When he does finally turn up an hour late he finds her in a clinch with a strange jungle man who wants to marry her. Lum decides it's time to force Ataru to fight for her.

Ran and Lum take an inadvisable trip down memories lane. Sadly, the past turns out to have been rather less than happy for Ran. Her volatile character goes into full Jekyll and Hyde mode as yet again she plans revenge on her old pal Lum.

It is a week before the final episode of Urusei Yatsura, and Cherry shows clips of episodes that were nominated by fans as their favorite.

It's time for the Tomobiki High School costume party, and just about everyone is invited.
