A rare look into the life and mind of Ataru's mother.

Ryoko invites couples from all over town to attend the a summer Christmas party at the Mendou estate. The couples, chained together, must rappel up a huge Christmas tree in order to reach the banquet at the top. The first couple to make it to the top will receive a kiss from either Ryoko or Mendou, those who fail will plummet to their deaths!

Lum, Ataru, Mendou and Shinobu stay at a gloomy old inn that they later discover is haunted by a ghost. But the ghost in question isn't nearly as scary as the elderly couple who runs the inn.

Ryuunosuke demands that her father tell her what kind of person her mother was like, but getting a straight answer from him proves frustrating as he tells her one whopper after another.

Ten has gotten sick and tired of getting clobbered every morning by Ataru, so he devises ways to get back at him and win for a change.

At a Mendou-owned mountain retreat, Ataru, Lum, Mendou, and Shinobu find themselves in a bizarre 'revenge of nature' scenario as they are attacked by Tororo potatoes.

Oyuki meets with Lum, Benten, and Ran to warn them that their old elementary school teacher, CAO-2, has escaped. CAO-2 was a huge, menacing robot teacher shaped like a huge chalkboard eraser. He ran his class with an iron fist, had zero-tolerance for all the pranks that Lum and Benten pulled on him, and often punished them by hurling himself at them. The girls managed to trap him on a stalactite on some remote planet after a chase through space, but now that he's escaped, he's looking for revenge!

Lum tries to help Mendou cure his phobias by traveling back to a point in time before he developed those fears. Soon after the gang arrives, they encounter a very bratty little Mendou.

Onsen's class has smuggled food ingredients into the classroom for a huge 'nabemono' feast. Cherry shows up with some mushrooms that Ataru identifies as being the highly-prized Matsutake mushrooms. But if these are indeed Matsutake mushrooms, why is it that everyone who's eaten them acting so strange?

During another one of Ataru & Ten's fights, Ten accidentally burns the scarf that Lum had made for him, yet strangely Lum isn't upset with Ten. Ataru then tries to goad her to become angry with Ten, and later Lum practices disciplining him aboard her UFO. Meanwhile, Ten wanders around town trying to think of the proper way to apologize to her.

Onsen-Mark takes Ryuunosuke under his wing and attempts to teach her how to be a woman.

The Principal holds a beauty pageant at the school. Lum, Shinobu, Ryuunosuke, Ran, and Sakura are the lead contenders; while Ataru is chosen to be the judge.

A trio of middle school-aged girls, who fancy themselves as a gang, steal Benten's chain. They also challenge her, Lum, and Oyuki to a showdown on top of Tomobiki HS for the chain.

After a fight with Ataru one night, Lum goes up to her UFO. As she sleeps, her ship crashes on Mendou's estate, and she has lost her memory. Mendou later tells Ataru that Lum is now staying with him, and will fight to keep her there.

Ataru, and Lum's Stormtroopers infiltrate the Mendou estate to rescue Lum, but with Mendou's massive private army standing in their way, their mission to save her could end up a suicide mission.
